Plenty of beautiful flowers and trees. Nice to stroll around there. The sculptures were absolutely fantastic! We did not get to the rose garden because of a private wedding.

It was my first time there and we went on New Year's day to see the Christmas lights display and I want to go yearly because it was fantastic I was speechless it was so spectacular
Beautiful Gatden Nights of Lights. Loved the section with the lights synced to music.
THIS IS NOT WHAT I PAID FOR.... 90% of THE BUSINESS WAS UNDER CONSTRUCTION!!!! I NEED 95% OF MY MONEY BACK!!!
Lovely. Always well maintained and the staff are helpful and friendly.
The Atlanta Botanical Garden is magnificent. The variety of flowers is second to none - and the orchid center is beyond description. Their special programs bring joy and awe year round.
Really nice natural outdoor space that's right near downtown. It's peaceful and relaxing with barely any noise from the city. It's also part of Piedmont Park which is just a nice.
Great for the day, afternoon or a few hours. Always beautiful every season.
I love the Atlanta Botanical Garden! It is beautiful any time of year. Indoor and outdoor gardens mean there's always something in bloom. The programs offered by the garden are educational and fun. They have different levels of dinning so you can grab a snack or share a formal lunch. We are members and return every year.
The gardens are beautiful the alice exhibit is amazing !
Awesome light show on Christmas Eve... Must watch place
This is truly a world class garden. I've been a member for years. One of my favorite places in Atlanta. This not-so-hidden gem is finally starting to attract the attention of the general public, so it's more crowded than it used to be. But that's a great thing for the garden. There's something to see year round.
Beautiful displays on magnificent grounds. Really enjoy their outdoor concert series.
Very serene and beautiful. Not as large as I thought but plenty to see. I could see being a member if you live close enough. Great walking paths. Had to have a timed entry so I don't know if the Gardens are normally quiet or if it is the reservation times that are spacing tourists apart. Would return again!
Absolutely Gorgeous Light Display for the Holidays. All staff members we're friendly and helpful.
Phenomenal design and horticultural displays. Fuqua Orchid Center is fascinating, as are the Sarracenia!!!
Very unusual and beautiful displays. Plenty to see and the price was right.
Beautiful during the summer glad we chose to come while having family in town
Amazing Park nestled right next to Piedmont Park. I came to see the alliance theaters performance of Midsummer Night's Dream and really enjoyed it. The Gardens just made it more magical!
A beautiful garden in the heart of midtown. I love the canopy walk. They also have special events for fall and spring. The gift store has a great selection of cards.
Unfortunately the actual garden itself was closed... I had no idea that the garden would turn out to be closed on Mondays so that was a disappointment but the times were clearly stated in their info so that fault is my own. On a positive note, I was still able to walk around the park and admire the plant sculptures from afar. Maybe I'll actually be able to see it next time I'm visiting ATL
By far one of my favorite places in Georgia, let alone Atlanta. The conservatories are incredible
B E A U T I F U L. What a great way to spend a day off.
January 2021: last night of Christmas lights was beautiful and a great way to mark the end of the holidays. Musical synchronized forest was the best. Private fire s'mores was a 2021 perk. With limited tickets this year, it was fantastic!
It was our first time visiting. We had a great time, and are planning to go back around the holidays. Highly recommend.
The Garden Lights are absolutely amazing! 100% worth it!
What a wonderful Sunday morning! You can get lost here for hours! I could spend the day in the Japanese garden
DATE DAY with the wife were never disappointed when we visit the Atlanta Botanical Garden.
The next best thing to going to the beach. I've taken field trips here and gone with my family. It's magical no matter the season. The Christmas lights are something to behold. A wonderful way to embrace the season, collecting memories for you and your children. Just go. You won't regret it!
Wonderfully place to take the family to see some beautiful plants and flowers
Went to purchase a seasonal pass and I love this place
Went there for the Alice in Wonderland exhibit cocktails after dark, and absolutely loved it! The sculptures were super cool, and their set up was really nice. Flowers were gorgeous and despite a lot of people going for the event, it was still a very chill atmosphere.
This place was an absolute treasure!
The expansive grounds have many various paths through many different environments & a huge variety of flowers, plants, edibles (with food demo & tastings). They have: early evening wine strolls, a medium-sized suspension bridge, fountains, ponds, a cafe, an upscale dining room, lots of shade, an arbor (with seating under), open (& partially shaded) patio areas (with seating), inside viewing areas, a quiet, museum setting with stunning lighting and amazing pictures of orchids, along with an entire orchid building, a tropical, humid growing building, a spawling, open lawn ... and SO MUCH MORE! There are plenty of drinking fountains, seating, & bathrooms, and, oh ... the large garden scultures, & I must mention the lights.
The gift shop was amazing in its own right with such a perfect variety of wares from super nice gifts to kid friendly, all wonderful (graphically pleasing), colorful, or scented, and all superior quality. Honestly, I did not see a single item in the gift shop that I would consider "cheap" by any aspect of the word! Some gifts are theme related to the scultures to ensure the memories of your visit will stay with you via any trinket that becons you to take it home. You can get acess to the gift shop without paying for & entering the gardens (highly recommended for unique gifts).
I swear this place is NOT paying me to say this stuff, I genuinely LOVED all the facets and thought and effort the Atlanta Botanical Gardens has put in and obviously constantly puts in!
BRAVO, to all the personnel that maintain, plan, and run this location ... it would be a perfect spot for so many occassions!!
Was nice and pretty big. They had the lake goddess under construction which I did not know when I booked the trip. This was why we visited atlanta. So we were a little disappointed. My kids love Moana and that's what it looks like it the pictures lol . Also in the pictures on the site shows lots of things made from flowers and plants which we couldn't find anything like that other then the dog . I'm not sure if it's because seasons are changing or those were from specific events. Either way my kids loved the children's garden and there were some beautiful attractions. We will definitely go back just during a better season
I loved the Botanical Gardens, they had many different types of flowers and plants from different climates and places. It was very interesting and beautiful, my children even enjoyed visiting here. I was disappointed that at the time that we visited the Earth Goddess sculpture was being renovated, so we were unable to see how beautiful she actually was in the pictures we had viewed on the website. Another thing that I didn't like, was that the staff at the restaurant weren't to pleasant. I had my children with me, they weren't being disruptive or disrespectful, but I felt like the staff were annoyed if they asked for a refill on their beverages or spoke to them at all. Maybe in the future the staff could be a little more nicer to their paying guests, it would definitely improve the tips they receive.
Christmas light show fantastic. A must see to believe. Going to do it again
It was a wonderful experience the lights were magical my granddaughter loved it breathtaking moments
Always a great experience here. Beautiful place, lots of fun events, and great place to take the kids.
Beautiful gardens! The enclosed tropical garden reminded me of Florida. Lots of plants I had no idea what they were. Very well kept and maintained. Clean bathrooms. A nice place to visit.
Excellent place, it is unimaginable, it is large and has many things to see
One of the best botany displays I've seen. Well kept and plenty to see.
Amazing experience! You have to do a lot of walking so don t wear heels!!
Went during the Holiday Light show. Very beautiful and a must see experience.
Excellent space, very well maintained. I made an overnight visit and it was an amazing experience
Seeing the Christmas display is an absolute MUST DO!
We were a bit disappointed at how many things were closed or under renovations. Earth goddess is under renovations until April. Not worth the money at all for this time of the year (Feb).
Don't go in winter. Doesn't worth the money. Summer will probably better, but who knows.
Nice beautiful gardens but pricey. Lucky we did the teen festival because they get in for 5.00. If I would had to pay full price I would have been upset. Lots of walking . So if its feature you want to see ask the attendant otherwise you will just be walking a trail with exhibits here and there.
Beautiful venue. Regardless the season, it's a treat to go thru the gardens. Christmas time is extraodinary. Getting in and out on a busy night can be problematic. But that's more area of town than the park. Always fun to visit.
Lovely place! Very peaceful walk with beautiful surroundings. Perfect place for an after date activity or hanging out with the family.
Place was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful
Crisp, clean, refreshing experience that allows the inner spirit to dwell in a harmonious sanctuary. I remember wishing I had more water when I visited. Perhaps a sprinkler system review is in order.
I believe my expectations were set too high. It needs more lights. 3d glasses are not worth it
The Christmas experience was amazing! Highly recommend
A lovely garden with some marvelous areas to explore and take in. A little pricey but a fun place to spend a morning.
The Botanical Garden is a special place, it houses some amazing varieties of plants. The trees, flowers, and rare varieties are really neat to check out. This place gets especially wonderful in the winter. The Christmas light display is 2nd to none. You can walk around a good 2 hours enjoying the lights if not more. Super cute date night, or fun for the family.
Went to the Botanical Gardens fir the Christmas lights. The setup was great! Tons of lights, music and got chocolate.
Nice place full of flowers and plants you can spend whole day, children park, desert plants, tropical plants and awesome creativity you can see Dragon, mermaid, mammal, peacock
This place is amazing. I love everything about this place. If in the area and have some time go check out this place. I'm glad I did.
Atlanta Botanical Garden: A Haven for Nature Lovers
The Atlanta Botanical Garden is a 30-acre oasis located in the heart of Midtown Atlanta. It was founded in 1976 with the mission to develop and maintain plant collections for display, education, research, conservation and enjoyment. Since then, it has become one of the most popular attractions in Georgia, drawing visitors from all over the world.
The garden is home to over 30 different gardens and collections that showcase a wide variety of plants from around the world. Visitors can explore everything from tropical rainforests to desert landscapes, as well as themed gardens like the Japanese Garden or Children's Garden.
One of the highlights of the Atlanta Botanical Garden is its collection of orchids. With over 2,000 species on display throughout the year, it's one of the largest orchid collections in any public garden in America. The Fuqua Orchid Center houses many rare and endangered species that are being conserved through careful cultivation.
Another must-see attraction at Atlanta Botanical Garden is its seasonal displays. Every year during springtime (March-April), visitors can enjoy thousands of tulips blooming throughout various parts of garden which creates an amazing view for photography lovers. During summer (May-August), there are colorful annuals planted throughout different areas which makes it perfect for family picnics or just relaxing under shade trees while enjoying nature’s beauty.
In addition to its stunning plant displays, Atlanta Botanical Garden also offers a variety of educational programs and events throughout year such as classes on gardening techniques or cooking with herbs grown at garden itself; concerts featuring local musicians; art exhibits showcasing works inspired by nature; and much more!
For those who want to learn more about horticulture or botany field itself can take advantage by attending workshops offered by experts who work at this botanical garden which provides hands-on experience with plants grown here.
The Atlanta Botanical Garden also plays an important role in conservation efforts both locally and globally through partnerships with other organizations such as The Nature Conservancy or World Wildlife Fund etc., helping protect endangered species like monarch butterflies whose population has been declining rapidly due to habitat loss caused by human activities like deforestation etc..
Overall, if you're looking for a peaceful escape from city life while still being within city limits then visiting this beautiful botanical garden should be on your list! With so much natural beauty surrounding you everywhere you look combined with educational opportunities available here make it perfect destination not only for tourists but also locals alike!
