Atlanta Athletic Club Review

My father started taking me there when I was a teen and now I take my young son. Wonderful memories here. Look forward to the tournaments every year. Staff is exceptional and always ensure that I and my family have a wonderful time.

Both the Highlands course and the Riverside course are in pristine condition, just like how it is for the pros. The par 3 course is also very well managed and very fun to play. EVERYTHING is in perfect condition from the food to tennis, to golf, swimming, basketball and much more. Everyone at the club is extremely nice and respectful. Best golfing experience yet!

Perhaps the most beautiful club I have ever been able to visit. The courses are scenic. The amenities are outstanding and the food is delicious. Thank you to Dr. Matthew Sweat for giving me the opportunity to enjoy this place.

We were taking part in the Butch and Debbie Floyd anniversary celebration. The staff was great! Great celebration was had. The food was wonderful.

Their long course 50 meter pool provides an amazing training opportunity if you are a long distance swimmer. The pool is well managed with an accommodating attentive staff. The aquatics center is truly the best swim facility I have ever experienced anywhere.

Wow, this is an awesome place. It's a private club, so you'll have to get an invitation, but, man, if you do, jump on it. Both the golf courses are in fantastic condition.

Private country club. The outside is perfectly landscaped. The inside decor matches the country club vibe. The food is very well prepared and thought out. Service is outstanding. Can't get better than this place!

David Sheppard, Phil Barber, Gary Wheeler are the nightmares of this place.

I attended an event at Rotary Club. The Keynote Speaker delivered an informative speech on Entrepreneurship. The members were friendly and made us feel welcomed. The staff was professional, and the food was delicious.

This is the premier club in the Atlanta area. Range, restaurant, and 36 holes of championship golf. Not one bad hole on the course. Club house has so much history and cannot be over stated. This is the place to be.

Bobby Jones would be proud. I met two of the golf pros. This Club engages the community around it. I attended a morning lecture from a PhD. Emeritus in organic chemistry from Baylor with his detailed proof of God. He showed how with extremely minute variations in a handful of postulates, life would not exist. He sat next to me at the following breakfast. Big time. We wrestled with the philosophers proofs going each way. Science is doing its similar thing.

Tennis and golf have brought this club into the national focus. Just walk through the place. I ran into Sen. Sam Nunn in the grill.

This is a beautiful club. I haven't golfed here but I've experienced their excellent food and service.

Access to the general public is restricted due to the membership system.

I attended an event here and was really impressed by the whole operation. The staff were super courteous and took great care of the guests. I had some great interactions with the folks here and I just had to come and leave a good note. I really hope I get a chance to come back to this lovely place.

Top notch. This isn't a regular cracker. It's a Ritz cracker. Greens are fast as lighting. Ball never made a divot when landing from the fairway

My experience is that staff is present at all entrances but are so engrossed on their cell phones that they don't open the doors for guests... not even those with walkers and wheel chairs . I witnessed other guests or maybe members holding open the front doors for others while those that appeared to be staff were distracted on thier phones. Thankfully, I was only a guest and not a paid member. I was mortified that the staff stationed at the entrance only barely looked up from their cell phones to great the guests.
Once inside the service staff (food servers and cash bar) was excellent.
I only gave one star because I had to do at least that to leave a comment.

High end private country club. Has hosted many national championships.

Top of the line. Restaurant and bar excellent. Main dinning is under construction so expecting even better to be coming as they are known for. Staff and service are excellent.

As far as country clubs go. This is a good one. It s very large and there are lots of athletic options. Members are not allowed inside the clubhouse when not in uniform or proper attire and you re not allowed to be on your phone laptop in the club house either. They have a driving range and a 18 hole and par 3 course for younger kids. The pool has multiple life guards and and a water slide. You can order food inside the pool house and it will be brought out to you when ready so you don t have to worry! The only thing is that the room often will have multiple missing shingles. And i feel like the security to get into the club is slightly lax.

This is the best of the best. Golf and all the facilities are really good. Lots of activities. People are really nice. Definitely a worthwhile membership.

Came here for tennis match and over all experience is good. It has hard and clay tennis courts, with indoor tennis courts too. Nice club house with good food. Initial entry and trying to find the tennis court was confusing. After locating them, it was all good.

I'm a big fan. We are not members but are considering. Two golf courses - one that has hosted the PGA Championship. Solid clubhouse and dining options. Fantastic pool. High dive and slides for the kids. The people up here are wealthy but don't seem as snooty as some of the in town clubs. As country clubs go I think it's an attractive value.
