Atlanta Airport Marriott Hotel Review

This is a nice hotel and very close to the airport. Not many food delivery options. Hotel is modern and up to date with the times. They have fake wood floors that give it a nice home feel. Staff was friendly. Concierge lounge was very good as well.

We had a company dinner at the restaurant there always the highest quality as I expected from Marriott

Service was ok. Room seemed clean. Carpet looked old.

Attended a meeting. Very nice meeting room and great catered meals.

Stayed there overnight before boarding a flight. Easy check in and great service!

I did not stay there. My friend stayed there and it was very easy to go to the conference meeting from that location.

Stayed here for business one night and impressed with the hospitality. Employees from the front desk to the restaurants are pleasant, helpful and caring. This property has many restaurants which is great as there are a lot of options. As I was reviewing the options an employee from the steakhouse asked me if I was looking for dinner, then explained the options on the menu. When I mentioned I didn't eat red meat, she outlined alternatives and then walked me over to another restaurant which had more options on the menu. Was so impressed with this service. Great experience!!

(1) Are you from Quatar? Asks a friendly hotel restaurant lady...and I hadn t even opened my mouth. She went straight off of skin color and no I am NOT from Quatar. I am from the US and have more security clearance than needed. Nice discrimination policy right off the bat. Good Job Marriott and no it was not a waitress - it s the restaurant reception lady.
(2) I am a silver elite - meaning I am a FAN of Marriott - probably not anymore ?
(3) oh the King size is already taken - is it Marriott policy time reserve and then hand it off to someone else? And then tried to put me on a accessibility king. They were able to fix it - but why cause the angst on a tired traveler ?
(4)breakfast room service was left at 11pm (should be done by 3 am)....breakfast never showed up!
(6) room looked unkept - lotion 1/3 bottle.

Again, the restaurant waitresses were excellent - so don t blame them.

Nothing but problems from start to finish from the staff! From valet to front desk nothing but attitude and rudeness. This maybe used to be a 3 star hotel but it's now too outdated and smelly and getting rough looking.

Stayed at this hotel on a work trip, everyone here were very nice, the hotel rooms were up to date, clean, and comfortable. My only complaint might be the food, for the price I felt like it was not prepared to meet my expectations based on what I was paying. Beyond that I couldn't ask of anything more. It was a good experience!

Great service and the food at the restaurant down stairs was awesome. Also the Starbucks is open from 6am until 12am was so happy they stayed open so late.

There for a Atl. District Gala. Service was great and friendly.

I head to this hotel every year for a small convention. The staff are all absolutely amazing. Everyone. Housekeepers, front desk, bars, restaurant. Everyone.

The hotel has a wonderful indoor/outdoor pool, a great workout room. Laundry isn't outrageous. Seriously, it's comfy, it's clean, and the staff are wonderful. Check it out.

And a great, tiny Starbucks!

Excellent venue for conferences and seminars. Very well set up, Starbucks & restaurants on site, large open area for socializing in the evenings.

I've attended many events at this location. It's always been a great place. Location is perfect, facility is five star and the staff is amazing. Can't think of anything that I'd change.

Well appointed rooms with great soundproofing. Despite being close to the world's busiest airport I don't think I heard a plane during my stay.

Poor scheduling on Deltas part. Last row in the plane we arrived on, 21 minutes to disembark, five minutes to get from concourse A to concourse D...escalator, tram and arrived late. Poor attitude from Delta desk. Delta finally agreed to put us up in a hotel, then Delta staff sent us to the wrong hotel. Two shuttles later it is 12:42 and we'll be up at 5...Chevy Chase night in Atlanta...

Very dirty hotel. Checked in and bathroom looks like it wasn't cleaned for weeks. Long hairs everywhere, soap scum on glass. Shuttle takes for ever and the AC is broken in the shuttle. Horrible horrible horrible.

Clean, comfortable, and staff is amazing. Location is a little inconvient with not a lot of stores or restaurants within walking distance. Pre-authorizations on debit card was a little confusing and had our funds tied up for the duration of our trip.

The valet guys are quite friendly and courteous, the lobby is simple yet modern and clean.

Very unprofessional customer service from the management with charging for something that was not mentioned and police and fights in the parking lot

Clean hotel, but lobby staff was a little rude when I checked in, they also canceled my reservation without contacting me, as well as double charged me for parking. Not what was I was expecting from Marriott.

I made reservations with this Marriott four months Ahead of time for my daughter dance competition. I had a discount for the rooms that were $59 a night. My brother-in-law is an employee for Marriott and got me this discount. Upon arrival I showed them the paperwork reservations confirmation number also his employee ID card but because my brother-in-law was not present they would not validate it. I ended up paying $179 a night. With a $50 dollar deposit! If I had not been able to get the friends and family discount I would've paid 600 and something dollars a night. It was very embarrassing and I was very disappointed. The beds were very uncomfortable in the pillows had zippers on them that cut you during the night. The sink didn't work also the air vent in the bathroom didn't work. I will never stay at this Marriott again..

Their customer service and accommodations are amazing. The staff are well informed. The breakfast area was always filled with fresh fruits, French toast and other valuable items. They have a live chef to make omelettes and eggs of choice. Their Concierge lounge is one of the best I've experienced. I've stayed here a few times and have never had A complaint.

Great location for a stay and for airport parking. There are a few good restaurants and bars inside the hotel, no reason to leave! Paying for parking in advance online can save you a few dollars per day. Much more reasonable price than daily parking at the airport and a shuttle runs between the airport and hotel every fifteen minutes.

Nice hotel, standard quality as expected from a full service Marriott. Good selection of places to eat on site. Free airport shuttle.

Not a good place to get a drink unless you are staying at the hotel. Parking is $15 even for a hour.

This is a very nice hotel. Friendly staff, quick service, and 5 elevators means minimal waiting time. But I had a hard time sleeping because of what sounded like a lawnmower starting up every 5 minutes - all night long. I was on the top floor, so maybe it had something to do with mechanical equipment. Additionally, my TV screen was rather dark, and I couldn't adjust it.

I used the shuttle service here to get to the airport. Very reliable.

My flight was cancelled so I had to go back the next day to the airport and TSA lady had a bad attitude..she rolled her eyes at me and rudely told me to remove my shoes. I told her sorry ,that I wasnt told to remove my shoes the day before so I didnt remove them this time. And she immediately started talking to her colleague about me and when I passed by the security without my shoes she tells me the dogs can't be working all day they are only there a few hours and that's when you dont have to remove your shoes. She could've just said it nicely and move on with her day. To the TSA LADY, please be nice to people, we dont work at your job to know the rules. (Won't roll my eyes)

Absolutely horrible. We had reservations arrived at midnight just wanting to go to sleep and they over booked and gave our room away. Find another hotel.

This is one of my go-to places to stay. It has a special place sentimental spot for me, hence my post. This hotel offers great food from the downstairs dining area with a full service bar and the possibility of ordering to-go meals to take to your room. They also have an in-house coffee shop that serves freshly brewed Starbucks coffee and fresh baked goods that pair nicely with a nice cuppa as well. The location is close to the airport and getting to and fro is quite easeful and done via the hotel shuttle service

Front desk staff is friendly, professional, patient, and accommodating.

Rooms are great and so is house keeping. I asked one house keeper down the hall who wasn't even attending my room for some toiletries. She didn't have all I wanted in her cart, so she offered to walk downstairs. That's going above and beyond.

Voya Bistro located downstairs near the lobby and bar prepare delicious food.
I ordered a Sophisticated Southern Voya Burger with a Cesar Salad. I would definitely order it again.
What I will not re-order is the Mexican Hot Chocolate . It was too thin and watery. Not as rich and creamy as I like my hot chocolate.

My buddy had some Babyback Ribs. He talked at length about how good they were for ten minutes. That's more than a minute per rib.

Shuttle service to airport runs every 15 minutes, on the hour from 6AM until midnight. Between midnight and 6AM it runs every 30 minutes.

The baristas at the Starbucks are pleasant and happy to prepare custom orders.

The hotel has a fitness room with more cardio machines than free weights.

The hotel also has a pool that has both an indoor and outdoor area.

Two semi-descent tennis courts.

Hotel is in an excellent location.

If you're new to the city. You don't need to rent a car or take a taxi/uber/lyft to visit the main attractions.

You can simply take the hotel shuttle to the airport, which is just a mile away, get a public transportation pass and catch the train to a stop within a reasonable walking distance of any of the main attractions.

I'd definitely stay here again.

This hotel does not provide continental breakfast.

But the rooms do have smart T.V.'s that are capable of accessing the internet so you can watch YouTube, Netflex, etc.

Overall, a great, comfortable, and memorable stay.

Worth considering.

I had a great time Atlanta Airport Marriott. The Hotel was very very clean and the staff was extremely kind and friendly. The Aesthetics of the hotel are super cool. I was there for a conference and I can't say enough about the wait staff that waited on us for every meal. They went above and beyond.

I only used their airport parking services but they took excellent care of my vehical

This hotel is IMPECABLY beautiful! While the front door entrance feels kind of dull , once inside you are thrown into a lobby with a sushi spot and a bar to your right. The staff is extremely nice and accomidating. The thing that did it for me is the fact that the gym and pool areas are huuuge. The indoor/outdoor pool looks amazing while the gym is probably the biggest hotel gym I've seen! I see folks complaining about not having a fridge or microwave , but that's why you call ahead and ask prior or after your reservation folks.

Horrible experience, smelly room, window does not open. No bathtub. Shower runs water all over the toilet. There is no room service delivery, and requested order was not requested to be picked up by myself in the lobby. I had to wait in queuing, order again and wait again, and I was in pijamas, sick having period cramps. And there was missing order in my bill, so I had to wait again for my coffee. I went through all this trouble, paid 49.00$ dollars for a couple of bagles, juice and coffee. Never again!

Luxury place for quality and comfort it costs as much as the Westin but the Westin is worse.

Use the airport Marriott for off site parking when needing long term. The price is right, secure and convenient. Shuttle divers are friendly and prompt.

Employees are very friendly and helpful, booked a double bed in May tonight is July( and my girlfriend and I neither one is gay) have to sleep in a Queen size bed. I called the front desk and spoke to a gentleman, he stated they were 100% booked and they apologized. I requested some compensation they stated NO, service sucks at Best Rd Marriott, Atlanta GA!!!

I went for extended parking and the valets and desk staff were less than helpful.

A great place to stay particularly when you are catching a early fight. You can leave your car here for a week after one day. The personnel returns to you. Friendly and clean rooms
