A very high standard hotel except for a few receptionists who did not

Excellent service. Very beautiful hotel with its imposing architecture. The play of lights makes it even more beautiful. Just opposite there is a large car park.

Nice place to stay for few days. Not 5 stars because during my stay the key card malfunction nearly for all level.

A very lively place situated in the city center of the city. They have nice ball rooms for different events. Recommend!

Luxury hotel, in the center of the capital, many tourists, many meetings in the area. Agitation, English contests, I think other meetings / forums in the location.

Luxurious hotel with a great service and great location. Unfortunately the building is pretty old and the hotel was not renewed for a long time.

The rooms are very spacious and comfortable. They have a work environment with a comfortable table and chair.
Very friendly service, although the gastronomic offer is somewhat limited.

Despite the fact of being a famous 100 year old hotel and Hilton, it s not the best. The housekeeping isn t very good, sewage system in the bathroom, executive lounge, and breakfast all could ve been better.

How many stars for every paid killer staying at Athenee Palace Hilton, I hope the people of Dragnea will come back and make the commitment to the end.

For a supposedly 5 star hotel, this one really sucks. I chose this hotel for its location for a business trip. The King Deluxe room is below average. The mattress was not comfortable (too hard) for me. The mini-fridge is noisy and makes a noise every time it shuts/starts. The only solution was to unplug it. They did offer me another room, but it was not any better. My experience with the concierge was the worst relating to the Bucharest City Tour Bus. The actual tour bus pickup point is very close to the hotel (Revolution Square), but the concierge directed me to Roman Square claiming the street for the Revolution square was closed. Anyway I ended up wasting time walking to Roman square and unable to find the stop. I ended up back to Revolution Square and got on the Tour bus from there. Yes, the street was open, maybe it was closed the previous day. This just shows poor service.

Got robbed in this hotel! Both my watch and my money were stolen from the gym! Hotel management did not want to assist me in regaining my valuables. Terrible experience.
Avoid at all costs!!

I do not recommend at all, services do not matter, not to mention the consumption of the minibar for those who have not been housed in a hotel with a minibar ... And the concierge with the street thunder! JW MARRIOTT is much over!

It's an elegant but cold place. Used to have the best Brasserie in town and a great terrace barbecue bar with music and atmosphere - both changed to worse - including the restaurant or closed after renovation

Sure among the most elegant places in Romania. It keeps and respects the standard.

I went there for my department's annual meeting. We had The Diplomat conference room, which is really nice looking, but the lights could use some adjustment for more brightness, otherwise you tend to fall into the romantic athmosphere and risk falling asleep :). It might get a bit crowded if the catering is served outside de room, but the service personal is really helpful.

Worth a look for the architecture, and for its historical resonance as a meeting place for spies and other dealings. However it's run just like any other run of the mill international branded hotel, with all the personality suitably stripped out.

Luxurious , well maintained ( it is a historical building ) and services are great . Parking space is located outside . Rooms are big and have everything you need inside . Prices are reasonable ( normal for a 5 star hotel in Bucharest ). Totally recommend !

Probably one of the best local hotels if not the best. Lux is at home and you do not feel like you have paid the price of the room and services for nothing.

The Hotel looks very beautiful and for the zone it's located in I believe the prices are pretty well chosen. I haven't been in any of the rooms but from the pictures I've seen of them and from what I've heard from friends I guess they're nice and clean.

Breakfast good and varied. In the city center, perfect. The room and the carpet are old. Eve decoration in the rooms.

Very disappointing, we were traveling in a group of 4 ( foreigners ) in a very important mission and we couldn t accomplish it because the rooms were too nice and the beds so comfortable we overslept and when finally we manage to get down to the restaurant we got too full , couldn t get away from the delicious pastries that you are serving ... we tried to wake up early for few days in a row and every day was the same scenario .. now 17 million people have to support the consequences of our unfinished mission .. too bad !

First because it is winter is not enough warm in room, in the second very poor breakfast more you can get at a guest house and in the toilet there is no cleaning brush. This hotel is not as I expected....the empire Hilton wow

A luxurious location, good location, excellent rooms and service, a good and varied breakfast. Overpriced in the price of products in the mini-bar, a bottle of water -5 euro.

i often meet people here to talk. i will be bringing family next time. prices are appropriate for the quality. food is similar to a place in san francisco i loved.

My husband and I are currently staying here. We have been traveling around Europe for a month and this is by far the best hotel we have stayed in.

We are very pleased we paid a little extra to stay in an executive room. In the evenings we have had drinks and snacks in the executive lounge and the service is impeccable. The manager, Mihai, did an exceptional job of making everyone felt welcome. I have a nut allery and I was very grateful that he took the time to walk me through each of the dishes and explain which ones had nuts. I also noted that he took the time to welcome guests individually and check up on them as required.

We had a large room. Initially I was worried about the proximity to the elevator but we didn't hear it at all. The executive lounge breakfast was fantastic and the cleaners did an incredible job.

I'm quite picky and found that this hotel exceeded my expectations. I recommend staying here. Especially in the executive rooms!
