A central hotel with excellent service. The hotel has a small indoor pool and jacuzzi. Rooms are spacious. 10 minutes walk from the Old City.

Nice location, great position and very good conditions. The only drawback is the staff which has a lot more to learn to be able to offer the services that the stars and fame of the hotel demands. Prices are a little over but Bucharest is not Hanoi

I can say that I ate well and the staff is friendly.

This is a five star hotel. Staff provide excellent services. Meal are good. The hotel is located in the heart of the city close to everything. This is a popular wedding photo place.

I was there for a conference regarding some new IT products. Services were very good, food was outstanding, interesting and fits all kinds of tastes. The minus was for the conference hall which was awfully small.

The hotel is in located downtown Bucharest walking distance to lots of restaurants and bar. We had a club room and the lounge access came very handy. It had a small terrace with views of the Parliament House. We had a small hick-up at checkin but it got resolved quickly. Overall probably one of the best hotels to stay in Bucharest.

This is a quality hotel with a variety of treats. There is a pool. Clean and quiet.

The hotel is over a hundred years old, very clean, spacious rooms and beautiful and excellent breakfasts. High-level concierge service and reception office. There is a bar in the hotel where you can drink, enjoy and relax. The building is very special and has an exhibition of pictures of guests and events that took place a century ago. Highly recommend the hotel.

I witnessed an event of two lovely weddings, the guests were dressed with fancy suits and dresses. The total number of guests at the weddings was minimal around 80 however it was special and happy the music was very pleasant.

There was a third event which I thought was also a wedding party, the guests were dressed like in the movies the gentlemen wore tailored suits and the women flaunted long and festive dresses, it looked like a prince event.

The orchestra played fantastic music which makes you want to burst into the hall and participate happily, at the entrance to the hall set up a bar with champagne in large quantities, fruit and lots of snacks. At one point the orchestra started playing oriental music so really it bounced me off and I went to the front door of the hall to enjoy the sounds and the atmosphere.

The door opened and a middle-aged woman came out of it. I turned to her, introduced myself and asked what was this special event? She, too, introduced herself as Keren, a resident of London, and asked me to wait a second, the lady back with a camera to take a selfie.

We talked and laughed I introduced her to my wife and a couple of our friends and again I asked in honor of what is the special occasion? Keren replied that this is a group from all over the world who travel on an ancient train following the travel route of the legendary ORIENT EXPRESS train.

Passengers end the day in the capital on the train route, guests are treated like kings in the train carriages, including meals in fancy restaurants, Belle Boys at guests' disposal and lots and lots of luxuries and indulgences.

The famous trip in Orient Express is special and different from all the other trips or experiences with a very small exclamation mark !!!

The trip is intended for members of the upper class ++


If while reading before the price of the experience was known one of the readers got excited and said to himself Walla suits me, then let him know that for the above amount you can take organized trips at very good levels, to Argentina including Brazil, Japan for cherry blossoms and Australia with the option to return via Europe to rest in Rome Or London.

Good location, good gym and swimming pool. The rooms could do with some modernizing and especially the bathrooms should be upgraded soon.

We had Suites and Deluxe Rooms: Except of the space they're nearly same. Bad Guest Management, Bathrooms and several things are dirty and not usefull (don't take a shower if you're taller then 1.60m, shaky WC-seat, etc).
Can't recommend this Hotel - it' a pity

Very bad experience. A star and because you can not less the truth.
When you check in, they make a retention of money on the card greater than that of the stay. With such bad luck that they charged us twice and we have not yet received the second payment or the difference of the withholding.
So we continue already a week later.
It is clear that we will never return. Of all the hotels we have stayed in during our vacations it has been the one with the most stars and the worst treatment and experience of all.
It is very difficult when, in the absence of 7 days of travel, they take almost 500 from your credit card. And without any kind of notice or authorization. Directly we find two charges, the second without even having proof themselves.

Good atmosphere and pleasant staff. But the lunch was nasty and poorly presented.

Great location, good comfort but the breakfast is kind of poor and also the serving - I had to wait 10 minutes for a coffee not having more than 10 other people tacking breakfast at same time.

No doubt the hotel is beautiful and grand. But level of front desk and customer relationship services are bad. Add to that the level of cleanliness in rooms are bad.

Was this year so far a permanent guest in this hotel and always fascinated by the team, the team has adapted only conditions in the hotel. The restaurant has always been bad and you were used to having to go back meals (even multiple times) because you were burned (also plain and obvious things like a toast). But it can be even worse this week has shown me again the breakfast. The staff already started with the manager very, very listless and with a please do not talk to me mentality. Permanent guests or just customers who have already left a lot of money in the hotel are not honored. I do not need special in the morning but when I realize that obvious damage is ignored and dirt is not seen, sorry then something goes wrong. There are small oases in the hotel such as the coffee left of the entrance where you can have a snack or just enjoy a coffee or the English pub, both still managed by longtime staff who appreciate the personal interaction. I can only say for myself that hotel does not deserve its stars, so if nothing changes in the short term I would rather visit the competition in town.

Amazing hotel. Perfect service, location and Art Nouveau details in the architecture and interior design that make you feel very happy. Stained glass is one of the best of Europe.

Private-car parking became private. 4 lei 30 minutes is the thief on the face. 76 lei a day of parking when you work in the hotel and you can not even pay the ticket in the reception. For such a hotel parking is a big minus.

The shares are for sale! For 194x1.15 = I have to give the notary117, post 15-20, plus a copy of 1 leu. What do I choose? Here is Hilton Bucharest, after using his wife's action!
