Finally got around to writing this review. This 1 star is based on our very last experience at Asquith Vet. My dog got stung and then had a seizure where she went all stiff as well with no response, so quickly brought her to Asquith Vet, (she was a bit responsive by now but was looking confused) was told by front desk to wait (initially thought the vet would see my girl straight after the current pet patient the vet was with) Nope, turns out i had to wait till all 6-7 patients in reception were all seen before my dog's turn. Well after they called the next patient, needless to say, i left and went to a different vet who saw my dog 1st priority before their two that i saw were waiting.
The only good thing i can say about Asquith Vet is their reminders of pet vaccination that they send out is handy.

Great vet service and pricing is reasonable compared to other vets I've been to. The receptionists/nurses there however are moody and very rude, they kept rolling their eyes everytime I had a question to make. Yes you had a bad day but don't unleash it on other customers.

I can t recommend this clinic enough. We have been taking our fur baby here for almost 4 years now, including 2 major ACL surgeries. Angus (our dog) has not been the easiest patient this time around, but he has been looked after by the all the staff as though he were one of their own. Brad went out of his way to make sure we had all the support we needed over the Christmas and New Year period, even though the clinic was closed. We ve also had house calls when they knew it was hard for us to get Angus to the clinic for his daily bandage change. Angus actually gets excited when he realises we are taking him to the vet even after everything he has been through. This is a testament of how well he s been look after by the staff.

It s taken a while to write this review after our cat was euthanised here last year. The process was technically good and the cat didn t suffer. However, once the decision was made but the cat was still alive the receptionist came into the room to settle the account. This seemed very insensitive. Then both the receptionist and the vet kept hassling us to pick out an urn for the ashes before we left. I understand they have logistics to deal with behind the scenes but it was persistent and upsetting. On other occasions the care here has been fine, although I feel the staff are often rushed and overworked.

Really wonderful vet. I've been a couple of tikes now. The latest being when my poor cat had gastro. I called and they gave sensible advice and encouraged me to call back if I was worried. She was still sick after a day later, it was Saturday by then and they booked me in immediately. They were very gentle with her - and me because I was a bit teary. While waiting for her test results she pooped in her cage and got it all over herself, one of the nurses Becky took her and cleaned her and the cage up, I was so surprised, I thought I'd just have to do it at home! A couple of hours after treatment she was completely fine. Really great experience, I couldn't recommend these guys enough.

We recently took the heartbreaking decision to put our beloved Milo to sleep after discovering he had metastatic lung cancer...It was absolutely devastating for the whole family. I just want to commend the care and compassion all the staff at Asquith Veterinary Hospital showed. When it came time to euthanise Milo, the vet was in no rush at all. She explained what she was going to do and what would happen...Then she gave us all the time we wanted before administering the medication....Once Milo passed away, and the vet confirmed he had no pulse, she again allowed us as much time as we needed to say goodbye. Thank you!

Nurse nearly killed my rabbit. My 3 month old baby...

Nurse nearly killed my rabbit. My 3 month old baby rabbit was very scared to go to the vet. We arrived on time but had to wait for 45 mins to an hour. We saw Dr Amy. She seemed nice and good but we were stressed as my rabbit kept trying to jump off the table in her fear and we were left occupied in making sure she didn t. Amy left and Nurse came to administer revolution for ear mites. Idiotic girl opened the carrier door and then the rabbit jumped off the table. She tried to grab the rabbit but missed. My partner was standing next to her and luckily caught bunny against his knees otherwise she would have hit the ground. The incompetent girl said this is a very skittish rabbit instead of apologising. She s a 3 month old baby rabbit who s insanely scared. Very disappointed. Not going back. I later received a generic letter for a free nail clip but ... thanks but no thanks!

Just want to thank Asquith Veterinary Hospital for saving my cat Gerald. I rushed Gerald in after he was runover. He was immediately attended to by the vets and nurses. Sorry to all those people in the waiting room!

The staff really made me feel reassured whilst Gerald was being operated on. I was very impressed by the quality of care and the attentive and helpful vets.

Happy to report Gerald is back on his feet due to the excellent care. Can t recommend Asquith Vet Hospital enough!

We have been going to Asquith vets for over 15 years with all of our pets. They provide very professional services and have helped us through some tough times when our pets were quite unwell. All the vets there are fantastic and would highly recommend them to anyone.

As a former Veterinary Nurse, I have seen the good, the bad and the ugly. This is an excellent organisation!!!
This practice is extremely well run with efficient, professional and compassionate staff. The Vet I deal with mostly, is Brad and at all times I have found him to be honest and direct, regarding information vital to making decisions.
I have no hesitation in recommending highly!

After a lengthy , delicate operation he now on the road recovery . Thank you to Dr Christine and colleagues for performing yet another Veterinarian miracle !
