Ascot Racecourse Review

Fun! Win some cash, loose the cash! Drink, eat, watch horses. Very relaxing. The venue is really nice, something for everyone in terms of available food and drinks. Not very overpriced. Nice way to spend a day.

Packed and gets worse each year. Security staff, while I imagine are very busy, are also really rude. They decide they don't like the look of you and give you loads of sh*t at the gate. I saw people fly through but me and my gf were given marching orders, as were loads others, to buy more food to bring in - person in front of me was let in with one banana.

The experience inside isn't great either, is so busy you can barely see the course, full of 'madlads', nothing been done about the drugs there (sniffer dogs didn't do anything as I saw, sec genuinely more concerned with how much your food to bottle of prosecco allowance was) and transport there and back a nightmare. Complete waste of a day.

A good day out at the races, grounds are very well kept, good views of the race course. Food and drinks expensive and the few toilets available were a let down, not kept clean or stocked with toilet roll. No excuse even when busy.

You get to see her majesty the Queen good food fine champagne and excellent horse racing,there is no other place on earth like It

If you are looking for a race day that is more focused on the races and the prospect of winning some money this is not for you. This event is about fashion and drinking so I would recommend new market.

Christmas Family Fun Racing Event! Fab day! Lots to keep kiddies occupied! Totally Recommend!

This was the first time i had been can't wait for next year.

The evening socials are vastly different from the days events.

Great day at royal Ascot with my own Runner who did not win but had a great day. Very Hot weather maybe too Hot.

Great place to be for Horse racing. If you are lucky enough on a bet it can be an amazing day!

The racecourse is amazing, the staff are great, the view is great and the racing experience is great to witness.

Overpriced tickets to the Queen Anne enclosure for what is, essentially, an airport departure lounge with a faint view of the horses.

Atmosphere is brilliant. Racing, socialising, drinking....what's not to like!

I had a very good experience, being the first time. I wasn't sure weather to drive or take public transport. In the end I took a train from London. It was so easy from Victoria to Clapham junction, then took the Eastern railway to Ascot. From the station to the racecourse, it is all so we'll sign posted. There were no qeueus because there are plenty church in points. Staff are always helpful. I loved the fact that there are mobile betting officers who help you make place a bet from where you are seated. There is a selection of cafes, ciosks and restaurants. If you just want to picknic on the lawn, you can watch the races of a massive screen

Came for the fireworks and was very easy to get around and find my way in and out.

Great place with great facilities. Have been a guest to several corporate gatherings

I have never been here ?? Not my sort of thing, dont know why it came up on my line, maybe flew over on the way to somewhere bettet.

Great place but the customer service on the ticket sales lines leaves a lot to be desired. I called for help with my booking as the website was down but just because you may be busy, it doesn't mean you need to be rude.

Great venue, nice grandstand. Food and drink is overpriced and the there never seems to be enough toilets on the really busy days. Events always well organised.

It is what it is, a racecourse. Parking and facilities well organised and laid out.

Such a fun day. Tickets were reasonably priced and there was plenty of food and drink options on the day. We went on a beer and food event day. There were so many different choices of beer, we were spoilt for choice.

I normally go to Royal Ascot, so it was nice to go to a quieter event and be able to use the betting apps with no Wi-fi issues. It was also a lot easier to find a seating area for our big group. It ended up being a wet day but plenty of sheltered space. Even though this was Royal Ascot, there were plenty of people that made the effort to dress up.

I will definitely be going again next year, to both Royal Ascot and Beer and food event.

Great place but there should be more toilets about its,a long walk to get to them and a long walk from train

Love this racecourse , probably my favorite and ive been to a few , always a great day , although premier gets so busy on the big meetings its not worth paying extra for it as we usually end up in grandstand where its less hetic , would benifit from getting experianced bar staff to help deal with busy crowds

Good day out , although your not allowed to take food and drink in and that means your going to pay extortionate prices inside , can get very crowded inside and they stick to a strict dress code which when it's very hot it can be a burden , make sure you get a taxi up there , last thing you want to do is drive home after a day there . Trust me .

good day out, lots of places to eat and drink if you can make royal ascot do it, the atosmphere is brilliant.
easy to get to from waterloo or clapham junction do drive its a nightmare, take the train or coach.
the racecourse has so many events throughout the year,
well worth a visit.

Great day, very sad standards have dropped!! To many females under dresses. Dresses to short, low cut fascinators to small bring back the standards and stop people coming in whole do not follow the rule.

Not so good yesterday I'm afraid ,too many upstairs looked to be 3000, ten deep at the frankell bar , even down in the trackside was packed n only one staff serve at the bar until the public started to complain, such a great course that provides good class racing ,u need to address these points which also include toilets with broken locks n also some were blocked I do believe .

Advertised as family event day, music in evening contained nothing but swearing from Example and even Rita Ora. Great example for young children watching

Wonderful corporate hospitality - delicious food, unending selection of wines and drinks. Great service. We loved every minute!

Royal ascot ,what a day out ,like entering a parallel universe of wealth and indulgence, you must go one day!

A nice place to visit, posh and great for a drive in cinema

There were parts of the day that were lovely and other parts which were like being aboard with out of control drunks.
The racing was brilliant and do was the atmosphere in the Windsor Enclosure. Lots of well dressed people with fantastic hats, dresses, shoes and mens suits.
Towards the end of the day, there was so much litter left on the floor, with females so drunk that they could not stand.

The best place in the UK for horse racing. You can't beat Royal Ascot week
