Ascot Racecourse Review

A great day out with the family! Staff were very helpful and friendly!

Great entertainment and fabulously extravagant if you're royal Enclosure. However be careful of the restaurants/cafes and their ridiculous price hikes during Royal Ascot.

Nice enough but just too busy. Head to Sandown instead. You can see more and get closer to the track.

This is one of the best days out highly recommended

Yes yes. What more can I say, i always have a good time and it is always a great place to catch up with old mates that you haven't seen for a while

If your into horse racing then this is one of the top locations in the country the old and new buildings are in a class of there own.
We were there as our housing association were holding our conference again a stunning location.
Facilities very good and easy to hand, parking again very good only let down by time of day and local traffic making it congested around Ascot.

Traffic management very poor. Traffic unbelievable even at 11am.

A great place but expensive and a great day out on lady's day

Amazing experience, should be a bucket list experience but pay for the better tiers to truly appreciate the magnificent views, venue and experience.

Beautiful racecourse, obviously overpriced, and full of smug, self satisfied, nauseating supersillious scumbags.

Getting there awful by road (jams) or train (painfully slow, overcrowded). Helicopter best if you've got the fric. But the racing is tremendous and Royal Ascot memorable. Quintessential English experience.

Ascot felt safe with the all the security checks. Had a lovely time. Recommend getting there by Ascot Express. Weather was gorgeous. Horse's were top notch. Loved seeing the Queen.X

If you are a racing fan and have never been to Ascot, you really do need to go. It is actually a lot more interesting to go outside of the Royal meeting, as you can explore and see more of the venue without the huge crowds and armies of drunks. The King Edward stand has great bars, a wonderful view and plenty of betting outlets inside. Get there early to find a table to base yourself at.

Place getting busy very quickly. I would suggest to buy tickets far in advance. There is a different sections. I would suggest to buy at least a middle one,if you can't afford a top one. There is plenty of places where you can buy a drink or a snack. There is an easy and convenient access to train station with a short walk.

Lots of concrete and very corporate. Better places for a horse racing experience

Always a great day out. Got there early and set up the picnic. Had a few winners. Not sure the new bar set up worked as well as it has done in the past as there seemed less bar space so bigger queues.

Totally unorganised, took an hour to get parked,and getting more money orientated. Expensive parking and further charges to get to see the racing. Beer very expensive. OK if you are Rich but not a good day out if you are not.

Lovely day out. Was really pleased with the level of service and hygiene being an outdoor event. Really just needed more available seating track side!

A crowded event. The time interval between the races is big. A lot of drunk people. No seating. From the pros elegantly, safely and you can see the royal family from afar.
