Ascot Racecourse Review

Surprisingly a great day out. Why? The staff are great. Variety of munchies.. killer pies.. and of course the other punters are sooo friendly. A great family day out.

Just attended the Ascot Fashion week and it was really good lots of lovely clothes and other things at good prices

This place is furlongs ahead .
Thought I was going to have a mare , but turned out to be very horse-pitable

Glorious time had at Ascot for some light merriment in celebration of stag. Staff really accommodating even as the evening drew on

If you havnt been, get yourself here, top day out, everyone dressed to the 9 s! Hot girls for single men, and strapping men for single lass s!

The racing was great and the firework display was spectacular. Everything was so well run and organised and staff were friendly and professional

Racing with a beer festival. Only getting a few winners could make it any better.

Its a lovely place clean well organised. Recommend for wedding as well

You can hire a wheelchair, but must phone to book it.
Carers go free ( must have proof of disabilty).
NO PLASTIC BAGS ALLOWED IN, so be aware they will take them off you. Safety reasons.

Lovely! We had a large room and very nice food and drinks after a funeral.

Imposing building, nightmare to get around. But views out onto course were amazing

Fantastic family friendly flat racecourse. Lots of good food, highly recommended is the burger stall.

Brilliant day at the races, even if your not betting its still good fun

Good venue for a day out. Food and drinks are a bit expensive if you're on a lads day. But it's only a one off, so not too bad.

The only things that spoils a good day out is the behaviour of the free drinking corporate guest's who have no interest in racing and can't handle alcohol with Thier small brain's and decide to act their shoe size not their age.

Lots of fun esp on ladies day. Take a picnic and get there early to grab a table and chairs

Good place for a day out but beer is not very good and served in plastic glasses.

Corporate meeting, great venue if a tad cramped for the size of group with the layout. Food fantastic.

Not much to say apart that everyone should go at list once at Ascot to enjoy the fantastic experience. Truly wonderful! :)

Take your walking shoes, this is a big venue, nicely maintained, pretty flower beds and well keeps grass.
I ve only been there for non-equestrian events, the catering was very good, but the AV facilities were poor. Screens in the rooms were not showing the presentations and sound did not travel down the long thin rooms very well.
Parking was across the road, and plenty of it.
Frequented by Royalty, and me.

Great food and location right next to the track in the Villiers club. Weather was terrible so everyone was inside, so more seating would have been nice

Fantastic day out with clients to Ascot this last week, looking forward to next years fashion display by the ladies, the horse racing, and whole special event. Also saw the Queen and her staff- fantastic day out

The Furlong club during the Ascot races is the best place to be (if you are not a Royal Enclosure member) - as it is exclusive to Furlong ticket holders you do not have to fight for a table with a brilliant view. Has indoors and open areas in case the weather is poor. Food not great here, but plenty of drink facilities and close to the box offices for betting & collecting.

Went during Royal Ascot week - brilliant day out, great atmosphere and the corporate hospitality is excellent!

A must for anyone who wants to see thousands of well-dressed people, young and old. But do not forget your own outfit!

Royal Ascot is a must see if you're into the racing atmosphere.

My friend and I were invited to a charity day at Ascot.
It was an opportunity to get dressed up and have some fun.
The package included champagne lunch at midday, followed by afternoon tea later in the day.
In between it all there were the races and a chance to place some bets.
You could either do it at your table, downstairs or on the course.
It was full of varied characters who all looked set to have a great day.
The service was good, the staff all around the course were courteous and friendly.
I am looking forward to returning with friends. This is a great way to bond.

Went to a spring garden show, well layed out, good surroundings, I might have been a bit young for the event though

Ascot is ascot ... the greatest race in England ... my opion... just avoid Ladies day

Went to King's George's Weekend race for my birthday treat and it was amazing!

Question is- do you get a better day out in London

Fantastic day out, brilliant staff... The food and drink is quite costly but most took their own food, which I'll be doing next time.

100% worth a visit :)

As long as there is no racing (check their website) anyone can walk, run, walk/ run their dogs, whatever, inside the centre of the track without fear of their dogs escaping the compound. Ideal for new owners and new dogs to get used to each other.

Went for family day and had an amazing time. Lots of activities for the little ones, with horse racing for the adults. A great day out. Will be at the next one!!

Great racecourse. Modern elegant building and a easy course to watch with great views.

Great fun, amazing grandstand, very good bars and facilities, shame the betting didn t live up to it!

Simply stunning. It needs to be seen to be believed, that's a fact. I will explain the place to you, but you will not believe a single word. To be frank, it's beyond belief.

To the initiated, this would seem to be a horse racing venue, with a track for the horses to race around and facilities to view the racing, make bets on the outcome and enjoy refreshments. However, this isn't the half of it.

Those in the "know" will know the following:

1. The so called horses are actually painted zebras.
2. There is an invisible giant called Dwight who lives in the centre of the race course.
3. There are portals to an alternative universe in most of the cubicles in the men's toilets.

So yeah, five stars.
