God bless this organization for the unexpected check we recently received to assist us for services rendered during my husband's recent week-long hospitalization due to pneumonia. How nice and much appreciated! Thank you very much!

This is a great company who works hard to make a difference in health care, especially for those who have financial restrictions.

I am sitting her sorting through the piles of medical bills that I have received over the past several months. I was hospitalized 5 times in 6 months for complications from chronic lymphocytic leukemia. My hospital bills are huge and I am paying as much as I can each month. My payments are barely scratching the surface. In the middle of all this mail, I open a letter containing a 100.00 check from Ascension Ministries. God is so good ,every day in every way and will provide for all my needs. I am not sure how you received my name but I am so very thankful for this wonderful gift. I hope someday I will be in a position to help this wonderful ministry. God bless. Carol.

My son received a check today for $15. I was not sure if it was real, so I looked up the name. All I can say is "Thank You" <3 My son is Autistic and we are having a very hard time right now financially, I am a single Mom with an autistic adult now, sometimes life is very hard, but

Won t go into details with finances, but on top of that when going through a months worth of a pile of junk mail & bills there s absolutely nothing to look forward to... then SURPRISE!! Disbelief then choked up. I received this over $400 check in perfect timing! God is always on time... THANK YOU ASCENSION!

WOW! God is amazing! On Sunday I was sitting in my car crying out to The Lord asking for help with our finances. Today I saw this letter in the mail and thought, "Ugg another bill". I opened it and there was a check, so I came to the computer and looked up the name "Ascension". God works in mysterious ways. THANK YOU for being earthly angels!

I received a check for a small amount and was very surprised to get it. I am really in no financial need for this check, but any money is always appreciated. I appreciate the gift and the blessings intended. God bless you and your organization.

My father received a refund check 4 and a half months after he passed. Since he no longer had a checking account and we couldn't cash it, I called Via Christi Health and they referred me to Ascension. I asked the lady from Ascension if it were possible to return the check and if a new one could be issued in my mother's name. I was to told to mail in the check and a new one would be written and submitted to my mother, that was May 9, 2018. I have allowed six months to go by, I wasn't sure how long it took to complete the process. When I called the Ascension number again, they said they could see that the check was voided, but they couldn't issue a new one. She also told me that the amount $260.60, "was a dinner and a movie for a family of five". There is other use for that money for my mom on a fixed income. Then, she proceed to tell me, I was to call Via Christi again, to let them know that I had just spoken to MSC and Via Christi would re-issue the check. If Via Christi had questions about if the check was voided, they would call for verification. So, I spent more time on the phone, only to be told by Via Christi that I had to call MSC back because Ascension handles the re-issuance of checks. AT one point, I was even told to make a three way connection call by getting MSC back on the phone while connecting with Via Christi at the same time. I am a customer, I don't mind being in a three way conversation, but to be told to make the three way connection myself was a bit too much. I was being bounced back and forth. I couldn't spend more time on the phone because I had to tend to my mother. I really have no clue were to turn to resolve this issue. I do not believe my experience falls in line with the Ascension mission statement.

I received a check but I didn t know why I get it can you please explain to me why I received and is it fake check or not please give me more details

Thank you for the check I received today. I was diagnosed with stage 4 adenocarcinoma in 2015 and have not only been battling the disease but also financially fighting to stay afloat. I pray that God blesses you just as He has blessed me and many others through your health ministry.

Surprised! How wonderful to receive a check in the amount of over 400$ from Ascension Health-St. Thomas. My husband thought it was a scam and told me to throw the check away. We had paid all of his medical bills before they were due because he hopes to retire soon without having the heavy burden of hospital debt. The insurance policy he has is a very high deductible plan and low percentage of co-pay after the deductible is paid. Also, he has high out of pocket expenses. His age and income are below the national level. So after reading Ascension's web site I figured out why we received this $$. As it so happens we received a bill for another hospital visit from 2016, in the same week as the check was received. Here's where karma comes back in a good way. LOL I do have faith in the system of great doctors and the hospital administration. (Hospital administration even made a visit to his hospital room after a issue had been reported about the room). Every need we requested was handled in the best possible professional way. Now to receive the financial help has made the experience a bit easier. He had open heart surgery Feb. 13, 2017 and a total of 53 days in the hospital and a rehab facility that St. Thomas referred him to for recovery.

I received a check from you all My husband was in the hospital from November 19 2015 until December 28th 2015 when he passed. This month as really been hard because his birthday was December 5th which it spent his 50th Birthday in the hospital last year and also Christmas which then he passed away two days later. then we had his homecoming service on January 2nd 2015. I was so surprised to have open up and saw a check. That many days in the hospital I Knew what I was going to be in for as the medical bills. Was just VERY NICE OF YOU ALL. GOD BLESS YOU.

My former tenant didn`t pay her water bill and I had to file a small claim to get the money back from her. The court agreed to file for garnishment (take out small amounts out of her pay every month until it is paid off). Her payments are managed by ascension. I called the garnishment departement in Indianapolis and they told me where exactly the court needs to send the documents. I paid my court fees and the certified delivery process plus the required 35$ check for Ascension. They cashed the check and returned a different Ascension address to have the court send papers. So I did that paid all fees and added the required payments for Ascension again and yet again it came back with a new address form Ascension.
This is very unprofessional!

I love working here. There are many opportunities for advancement. There are growing pains due to this being a new division, but it will work out in time. Great benefits, opportunities to work from home, 3 hours a month given to you for volunteering, and no weekends are some of the perks offered. I love working here!
