Went in when I almost cut off my thumb. The doctor did a great job stitching me up! It was a really great experience. If it had to happen, I'm glad it went down the way it did.

BUT...

I had to go back in because they were stingy with my pain medication. (I know we have a problem in the area, but 10 doses over the weekend is pretty skimpy...especially when the pain is keeping you up at night!) The doctor I was referred to couldn't get me in. When I went into immediate care they wanted me to fill out all the Workman's Comp paperwork again, so I just went back to the ER.

They kinda treated me like a druggy scumbag. They finally got to me after two and a half hours of waiting. Pretty much the first thing out of the doctor's mouth was "let's get that prescription filled for you!" Took a total of 15 mins to get me out of there after the doctor came in and spent 5 minutes with me.

I know I wasn't in a life threatening situation, but I was very uncomfortable for those two and a half hours. Feeling like I was being judged for trying to get help for the pain was ridiculous. The second after the doctor actually looked at my injury, everyone got really nice and friendly. It was just really weird after getting the cold shoulder for over two hours...a complete 180.

I have volunteered for this hospital as well as been a patient and everyone is very nice. I had a blood draw this morning and I tend to have problems with that type of test including fainting. The lady that drew my blood was awesome! It was pretty painless and quick and like all of the staff there she was very nice and gentle:). Thank you Ashland Hospital!

The Ashland Community Hospital ER took quick confident, kind, compassionate and efficient care of me. They consulted and explained every step they took and what was happening, and quickly figured out what was ailing me.
While we waited for transport to a specialty surgeon out of the valley, they even helped me with my concerns about health insurance coverage, truly going above and beyond their duty! They were terrific I felt treated like a family member. They couldn't have been more caring and on task.
I wish I could remember all their names, I think one of the RN was Michele and another Lynette I believe. Pardon me for not remembering well.
Thank you Ashland ER you are fabulous, competent, caring professional help! I am very grateful to you all!

They helped Dr. Stone save my sons life. The staff in the birthing center and the surgical teams are the best ive seen since I was an EMT in Pittsburgh. Truly a great place amd amazing people who deserve way more than what they get. We trust them and care about them. My wkfe and I decided that even if we live in russia or God forbid England one day, we will still come here when we have our next kid. They are that amazing.

The best hospital and 'all' staff, including Drs., that I have experienced in the S.O. area! I had a spinal fusion that was performed in this hospital, I am very, very pleased and grateful for the level of kindness, compassion, and care that I was given, and I thank each of you for helping me...thank you! Sincerely, JLRush.

I gave birth to my kiddo here and was very pleased with the rooms, the staff, the amenities and the food options. My birth had no complications and went much faster than anyone was expecting. We stayed almost 2 nights (got to go home around 9pm the start of the second night). The nurses really help you with learning to breastfeed and are great with updating you as things happen. This hospital has an amazing tub and gives you the option to try that if you've signed the paper ahead of time. They monitor the heartbeat throughout labor, and Dr. Leslie Stone delivered my little boy and sewed me up afterwards. They have big tub/delivery rooms. I had 12 people in the room with us while we welcomed him to the world and the nurses did great helping me stay clean and not getting frustrated at all the family. They even play a song every time they welcome a life into the world that the whole birthing center can hear. Pretty cute. :) I think my semi-quick labor with no meds, fluids or epidural was around $9k and insurance covered it. If you are thinking you'll want an epidural, try to tell them early because sometimes it takes a while for the specialist to get to you. :) This hospital is big on skin-to-skin which was truly amazing and is why I picked this hospital. Happy birthing. They have a gift shop too near there so family doesn't have to die of boredom.

BUYER BEWARE: my treatment was good, no complaints there. The doctor was kind, accurate, appropriate in exam and coding. BUT the facility fee was $745.00! They gave me a gown and took my vitals. Nothing else. That is simply too much. If 'Valley Immediate Care' in Ashland had been open, I would have gone there. They provide excellent service at a fraction the cost.

I have had six brain surgeries and the last never healed and became infected. Asante general referred me to Ashland wound. I was filled with trepidation fearing harsh antibiotics. NOT SO! Dr. HOFFMAN was gentle and informed. He used padded silver mesh bandages to heal the wound after shaving only that area. It was very soothing.
THANK YOU DR. HOFFMAN You really are a healer!

I was in there because of an Asthma attack. They sent me in back. The ER Dr. wanted to do a blood test. I have great vanes, I work out at a gym. An elderly lady comes in, she seems quite drunk, she is accompanied by a young man whom she seems to be teaching. She can't hit my vanes to draw blood, neither can he, it took them several tries and several wounds on my arms to get the blood. What's wrong with these people? It was like dealing with two of the 3 Stooges and it was very painful and annoying to me. I highly recommend not going here.

Asante rogue regional is the worst hospital EVER!!!! My mom went in to have an endoscopy done and they ruptured her spleen. She told the doctor that she was in severe pain that she feels she needed to be admitted in the hospital. The doctor told her "if you need further assistance the E.R is across the hall" my mom came home not knowing she was bleeding internally and sat here for 3 days in severe pain. I took her to providence and that is when we found out what rogue regional had done to her. 6 or so months ago Asante left a plastic needle from the I.v in her arm and almost killed her cause they weren't monitoring how much pain meds they were giving her, or what kind it was. They were giving her ketamine and the nurse realized what she was about to give her and said under her breath "my I am glad I realized what meds this was i could have killed her" and she took the bag of ketamine out and replaced it with a different pain med. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS NO GOOD FOR NOTHING SO CALLED HOSPITAL!!!!!!

My husband had foot surgery on 3/23/18. We have never received such amazing care and treatment as we did at Asante. From the moment we arrived we were treated as guest ! His nurse Jackie was awesome, had a wonderful sense of humor that helped all of us to relax. She treated my husband as if he was one of her family members. Asante has gone out of their way to assist us with financial issues also, because we are self pay, no insurance they have gone above and beyond to work with us. I highly recommend if you need surgery, esp if you are u insured to shop around , we live in Klamath and we saved thousands of dollars by going to Asante. Thank you Asante for helping to make my husband well again, also Dr Justin Johnson !! We are blessed !!!!

Slow indifferent care. Waited 1 1/2 hours with absolutely no one checking on me or asking if I was in pain. Staff seem more interested in chatting with each other than caring for patients.

I went here for a lumbar puncture in April 3, 2018. The Staff was absolutely amazing! Susie my Nurse was absolutely amazing and took the time to make sure I was comfortable and helped me with my anxiety by just explaining to me the procedure. I cant say enough about how friendly everyone was the receptionist, registration staff were so kind on my visit. Bill my Anesthesiologist was wonderful he explained everything to me at the beginning and through the entire procedure. I live in Grants Pass and would drive to Ashland again to have this hospital do my other treatments. If you want a staff that cares this is the one you should go to. Thank you again everyone.

Amazing things do come in small packages! Hands down the best medical facility I've ever been to! My mind is completely blown by their staff, care etc. I hope they keep up their good work and don't let go of this special magic they have going here! Wow! 500 of our 10 stars.

I am so thankful for this hospital and staff. My daughter just had son #4. It was the first time her Momma was unable to be there. She is just raving about the wonderful experience she has had in your hospital and the quality care she is receiving. This is a huge blessing to hear when I am so far away. Thank you!!!

The care I received was superb! From the X-ray staff, to the medical personnel on the floor when I was admitted. I was so sick and the kitchen staff made a special effort to make something I could eat. The nursing staff was kind and considerate and explained everything as we went along. They encouraged me and were always concerned about my comfort. All the staff was professional, friendly and considerate. If you have to go to a hospital, this is the one I would choose.

The folks at this hospital helped me immeasurable when my mother was diagnosed with Lewy Bodies Disease. The doctors, nurses and staff were exceptional. I cannot speak highly enough of the kindness and care they gave. It was a very difficult situation and yet these people were caring and loving and offered advice, care and their hearts. I am forever in their debt.

I survived covid, an ICU hospital stay of over a month and on a respirator, i was one of earliest covid patients, the miracle man! I cant say enough about ALL the drs and nurses who kept me alive and cared for me. They tried everything in their tool box to turn my condition around, and im alive today because they never gave up on me, even when they really didn't really know what else to do for me (and of course lots of prayer,) they never gave up even when it looked very, VERY grim for me, i am forever thankful to you all

My 72-year old mother has been recuperating from a fall at a nursing facility in town and was brought to this hospital for a simple x-ray this week (two blocks by ambulance for some inexplicable reason, but that's another battle). When she arrived, she was put into a hospital bed with the safety rails raised and left COMPLETELY ALONE for an hour. No one came to process her or talk to her or ANYTHING. She couldn't figure out how to lower the safety rails herself in order to find a nurse and she began to CRY out of fear and pain from her injury (she'd been taken out of her nursing facility before she'd gotten her medication for the afternoon). She could hear people laughing and talking nearby, but still NO ONE came to check on her. Eventually, someone came in and my mother asked why it was taking so long. The nurse told her that the x-ray department was very busy and would get to her as soon as they could. When the x-ray technician came in, he said that no one told him my mother was even there until right before he came in to see her, and he hadn't been busy at all. My mother was LIED TO by people being paid to take care of her in order to cover their own incompetence. Thankfully, the x-ray technician was very kind to my mother and is the ONLY reason this joke of a hospital is getting one star. I know that being a nurse is a tough, often thankless, job, but the way they treated my elderly mother is COMPLETELY unacceptable. Kudos to the x-ray technician, but a big, fat F- for everyone else involved in her "care" that day.

Came here to the emergency room with my sister-in-law who had fallen and dislocated her shoulder.

She was unfortunately uninsured at the time, and the staff were extremely helpful in getting her the care she needed and then ensuring the cost was paid for. She ended up being assisted by a local patron who donated the cost as requested by the ER staff, which was a huge burden off of an already bad situation.

We are so grateful to the ER team at Ashland! NP Susan, Karolina the respiratory therapist, Stephanie the nurse, Beverly in admissions, and the X-ray technicians were thorough, supportive, and extremely helpful to our family. Thanks for helping us get back to full health to enjoy the rest of our vacation.

I went in for testing at Asanta Ashland hospital and the entire staff was helpful and kind. I have been struggling with uncontrolled blood sugar issues for a very long time, and even though I was a difficult patient at times, they still went out of their way to get me the help I needed.

I was unable to walk the distance from handicapped parking so I called the front desk to ask for assistance. They brought out a wheelchair to take me in for my testing. I grabbed a review card but only realized after I got home that it was one card for each person.

I wanted to thank all of the people that helped me... I am now on the right medication and on my way to recovery.

Thank you again, even though I didn get your names.

Drove for an hour, missed work, waited for hours, then they didn't take my girlfriend seriously when she said her tonsils were infected. Her tonsils got so bad that she couldn't drink water. No help on the phone apparently I have to drive back today and do it again with an extremely sick girlfriend. Thanks Asante.
