Great exhibits. Staff was very attentive and helpful.
Parking around here is expensive, so if Marta is an option take that. Or you can park at Atlantic Station and take the free shuttle to Arts Center, which I find to be a cheaper and more stress-free option.
The center had so much interesting art work and pieces look at. The staff was so helpful and nice. I will have to come back again. We didnt come early enough to view everything. The cost for two adults was kind of pricey, we will have to wait for a Groupon or some other deal. You also have to pay for parking. I suggest to take the Marta there.
Kem one word AWESOME!!! The arena is lovely I love going to this venue for concerts!!! Good prices at the concession
Attended performance by ASO. Perfect evening. Excellent facility based on staff friendless and helpfulness, food and drink selection and the effective people flow.
Great acoustics, comfortable seats, and excellent music performances. Nice lobby and nice bar areas available.
Amazing exhibition, quite a wait but we'll worth it!
Every time we come here it's always an enjoyable visit. I remember my dad taking me when I was a kid. Now I get to pass that experience to my children.
Visited there for a music concert. The seating is not conducive to a musical concert when drinks are being served at bars outside of the seating area since you have to walk down the aisles. The spacing is not fit for that type of getting up during show activity.
I loved this Center. I can breathe art, finally !!!
The people were very helpful and friendly.
Nice, clean and spacious for the event that was held there
It's a beautiful place to visit. It's composed of the High Museum, the Alliance Theatre, and the Atlanta Symphony. Parking is pricey so come prepared for that. There are a lot of things going on during the summer. There are places to eat and to sit outside under shade trees and enjoy the day.
The High Museum of Art's Infinity Mirror was a great event.
Free every 2nd Sunday of the month. A great experience for my kids!
Great concentration for art, music, and theater. There s some great rotating exhibits in the museum that are world class.
Went to see Manhattan Transfer which was very good. I have always wanted to see them in concert. My wife thought the music was too loud and couldn't understand the words. Great venue. Can't believe it wasn't a sold out show. Parking a bit pricey at $16 in the parking structure.
What a joy it was to experience Yayoi Kasumo's exhibition. Although there is waiting in lines involved, it is definitely worth it!
Saw Ever After in the beautifully restored theater! Great show, lovely space.
Second Sunday of each month is free. Family friendly and lots of fun.
Went to see Live Actually with film score performance by the ASO. It was a lovely evening and the staff upgraded our seats since many were available at showtime.
I've lived in Atlanta for 15 years and this was my first time discovering this jewel in the city! Really, could spend all day here. I visited recently and enjoyed the Virgil Abloh exhibit. It was very modern. We see how he has influenced and been influenced by so many things and people of our time. I also liked the Sally Mann exhibit: A Thousand Crossings. So much history there.
We have been looking for another museum to frequent since we moved. I am happy to say we have found one. The customer service is great. Interactive play and sensory for children. I will definitely view the exhibit on our next visit.
Excellent place for live stage plays, Atlanta Great museum and Broadway of Atlanta Arts...awesome place to visit
Visited for the High Museum and Alliance theatre. The theatre is fantastic and the cast is always amazing. Recently saw a Christmas Carol and have been going nearly every year since the show started. Always a fantastic experience.
We had a fabulous time. The art was very creative and thought provoking!
I came here with my 5 year old daughters 4k class and it was an awesome experience. The showed the different art forms. I would definitely recommend this for all ages.
We came for the after hours jazz. The band was great and the drinks were good. They ran out of purchasable snacks by 730pm. And they could have used some more seats, I'm pretty sure there were more people standing than sitting.
I went to this museum as an assignment for one of my classes. I walked away from the experience excitedly planning my NEXT visit; perhaps on one of the evenings when they serve drinks and have a live jazz band. The grandeur of the facility itself is wonderful. The beauty of the exquisite pieces on display was overwhelming with some being quite breathtaking. Off the top of my head, I must say that the Jacob Lawrence, Virgil Abloh, Kara Walker, Romare Bearden and Faith Ringold pieces were very powerful and thought provoking. Kudos to thw facility for allowing free admission to veterans and 1 of their guests because that makes this a wonderful and visually stunning place for a low key date night. Being able to take in the culture and refinement is just priceless! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
The High Museum is a great place
And it shares its space
With a performance theater and shop
And even a restaurant stop
Current exhibits are excellent
Including one from the Phillip's sent
So when you visit Atlanta midtown
That's where this facility is found
Participated in a local food expo here and it was a wonderful venue. The building is historic in Macon and has been renovated beautifully. I'm very excited to see what events the proprietors have planned for the future!
Wonderfully satisfies Your Imagination. Beautiful landscape. Art and information on the Artist. Sculptures and interactive activities for children and Adults. Light Foods and Drinks available. Family Friendly.
Beautiful facility, parking structure is sufficiently large but a bit of a challenge to find if you are not familiar with the area. Would love to return to Atlanta and visit this arts center again.
Big opening beautiful but sort of cold feeling. I love museums but the Museum's I am most fond of have a certain warmth even if they're very modern. I am absolutely not saying that this Museum doesn't have its share of treasures inside of it. Just the opposite. It has many wonderful pieces. But you have to search for them.
Took our third grader to see the production "Cinderella and Fella" and the students really enjoyed themselves. Always love going to the Alliance Theater. Such great exposure to the arts for our children. Keep up the good work.
Great place for amazing plays. Beautiful, new decor in the theatre.
Had a great time watching Bela Fleck and the Flecktones at Woodruff Arts Center which is a great venue. The sight lines were good and the sound was excellent.
Huge selection of all different types of art, wide range of era's and everyone from ALL different age groups.
This is a very nice artistic space right next to High. It was the perfect venue for the "With Drawn Arms" Tommie Smith exhibit. Because it's smaller than High, it's a very intimate feel, perfectly allowing the pieces to resonate with you. I very much enjoyed being here and having the ability to walk through a series of interconnected yet separate rooms. I could digest the pieces better. Definitely dope.
Beautiful facilities with activities and events for all age groups. A great place to explore
Great Pooh exhibit. Well done as are all the High's special exhibits. Only issue was most of the exhibit was on the second floor and the elevator was not working. Good thing I had my knee brace on.
This is a very nice museum. One of the best I have ever been to. The tour guides are amazing.
We saw the Indigo Girls with the ASO. What an amazing experience.
Went for an Atlanta Symphony Orchestra concert and enjoyed the show. The building and lobby are very clean though you might get a little lost on your first visit
This remains one of the finest facilities in Atlanta. Clean and plentiful bathrooms. Great atmosphere and wonderful show!
My first visit in a few months.
My membership cut the parking fee from $16 to $8 and I shared one of my passes with a friend.
The staff, each and every one of the 4 or 5 we encountered, were gracious and friendly.
The exhibit, Euro Masterpieces, was arranged thoughtfully and was popular on this Saturday afternoon of the 2019 Memorial Day Weekend.
It was wonderful, often thrilling, to gaze upon these originals and to share them with an enthusiastic crowd.
Older, appreciative children, women and men in work clothes, silk and linen and t-shirts. Convezrsations in French, an older woman with a magnifying glass. singles, couples and small groups.
I couldn t have been in a better place at a better time.
I loved everything
Everything from the acoustics to the seating was a dream. Overally, the Arts Center was beautiful. I can't wait to visit again.
The staff here is always very nice. Fellow attendees? Eh. I wish I could get people to stop talking during the performance. I'm amazed at how often people will pay $80+ to not pay attention to the music. Oh, well - not too much the WAC can do (unless, of course, you can monitor this and kick people out :)
...in all seriousness, though, I've always enjoyed performances at Woodruff Arts Center.
An elementary school awards ceremony went off without a hitch! A little pricey on the parking. Neat little facility!
I recommend a visit to the art center. Its fantastic
We went to a Kirk Franklin concert at Symphony Hall, and had the time of our lives. The concert started at 8:00 and didn't end until 11:30. The event staff were polite and helpful, and the venue was great.
Alliance theater new renovations are great and there isn't a bad seat in the house.
Loved the jazz band that performs every third Friday.
Very comfortable. Not too large . Just right! Great atmosphere!
Lov this place... So many memories....Big Bird....puppets are fun...
My visit to the Woodruff Arts Center was to see the mega talented Gregory Porter perform with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. We were seven rows from the stage with a magnificent View and enjoyed the environment. The seating was very comfortable with ample legroom and the sound system is perfect for hearing talented individuals share their art.
Lovely facility. Wheelchair friendly. Terrific staff. Great acoustics. Really wonderful venue for a concert!!
This is the most beautiful theater I have been to in a while.the atmosphere was great and the host we're excellent the twelve-eighty cafe was delicious my husband and I saw candide and it was amazing I couldn't stop laughing and crying some of it was sad.ok.but I so recommend the woodruff arts center to anyone it has something for everyone.
Amazing exhibits and there weren't too many people, so we felt comfortable viewing everything.
So much fun, the exhibits are incredibly interesting and a lot of the art is captivating. The building itself is also beautiful I will be coming backZ
Could have a more streamline check in/ticket process, but was well kept and had great artwork
Wonderful event gathering place. Had a wonderful time.
Been here 60 years never visited but it's worth the trip the museum was fantastic, easy access , beautiful paintings and photographs more than I could see in one afternoon. Will definitely be going back and next time we plan on dining at the museum .
I LOVE it here! the staff is awesome and you always see something new.
It was my first visit. I went for a conference. I was impressed. I will visit again.
High. The best Visual Culture Atlanta has to offer.
Went here for a field trip last year. They have a variety of plays for different ages. Would recommend.
We saw the Christmas Carol and a different play aimed towards kids in single mom homes. Both were well done.
We enjoyed both plays very much. We recommend going when they have the field trips as this can be a cost effective way to get culture and arts intertwined into your instructional time. If you are part of the online charter schools in Georgia, ask when they are going.
Parking can be a problem. Ride share, take the bus or walk from a nearby parking lot. Plan ahead.
Plan to spend sometime before the show going to the bathrooms because everyone goes at the same time, and the lines can get a little long, and you can not go during the shows.
The theaters are accessible for wheelchairs, but getting up/down the ramps may need an extra helper.
The High Museum is exceptional. I so appreciate that they are kid friendly and love their Toddler Thursdays.
Got to see the Phillips collection for free on 2nd Sunday and it was incredible. They also have tons of free activities happening during second Sunday as well. I encourage anyone with kids or friends that would like to go, to attend a second Sunday at the High Museum, it was a blast!
Great shows, clean, staff could be friendlier, snack prices are inflated & you must arrive early.
The free lunch time event I attended was outstanding.
Excellent presentation by Atlanta Symphony! Exquisite performance by visiting artist Sheku Kannen-Mason!!!
I have been coming to the high museum since I was a kid. It was kind of getting stale and the only draw was the rotating/visiting exhibition. We went recently during infinity mirrors- but not to see the kitsuma work. We went to see the newly envisioned permanent collection! The contemporary artwork from Dan flavin, nick cave, Kara walker, Donald Judd, Julie Mehretu, Carl Andre (to name a few) had me totally star struck!
ASO is always good! Joe Lattanzi was a great special guest!
Great place for a show, except in the upper balcony area. It can be a little hard to hear and see way up there. It would be better to sit in the back row on the floor than in the upper balcony area.
A tired building with an out of date auditorium. Poor bathroom facilities with huge lines during the break. Bsr service was friendly but disappointing.
This place has really expanded their Cultural exhibits. I am glad to know that the Woodruff Arts Center has always been inclusive of all cultural heritage, bringing the Beauty of each. Very reasonably priced. Tours are very informative.
I have loved every performance/exhibit I've been to here. We're season ticket holders for the Alliance Theater and members of the High Museum. The architecture is also great, which led my now wife and I to get our engagement photos done there.
After the renovations this place is absolutely awesome. The seats were super comfy and sitting for a couple of hours was really pleasant.
The bathrooms were clean and smelled as pleasant as a bathroom can.
I just wish staff paid more attention during the play, someone had their phone on loud and it went off numerous times and nothing was done about it.
This place is clean, well organized, and you'll meet some really cool people if your very out going.
