Kenny Cetera Chicago Experience was fantastic, but the staff at the front door and in the auditorium were not very friendly. I took one photo of the stage 40 minutes prior to the concert and told no photos...while there were 12 others taking photos were not given any warning. I felt being singled out because I am not white ... Also the front door lady yelled at me to step inside while my wife was being checked in at the door...there were no one behind us. Be aware...don t expect friendly staff.

Last night marks our first visit to the arts center for a theatrical production after moving here over 3 years ago. What a find!!! Legally blonde is a Broadway-caliber undertaking on all fronts. The perfect venue for a show and not a bad seat in the house. We will definitely be back!

Kathy Oda glass show brought me to the venue. In addition to a beautiful presentation of her glass pieces, the additional artists are complimentary. Glass, fiber, jewerly, canvas created a well rounded gallery. The space is accessible, easy free parking, and access from 278. Well done!

Just saw the performance of "Evita" and like other recent performances, the acting, singing, and dancing were superb and the costumes, set, and lighting were excellent. If you are on the Island, their performances are not to be missed.

Easy to access, parking is great, not a bad seat in the theater. Great cast and production of Orient Express. I highly recommend to take time to see the talent we have access to. My wife and I plan on being a regular.

We saw Saturday Night Fever last night with a packed house. As usual, the choreography and singing were outstanding, as was the music and set. The audience seemed to love the recreation of the 70s disco scene.

Saw Murder on the Orient Express and was blown away by the quality of the acting. Easily one of the best experiences available here in Hilton Head Island.

Seating is excellent no matter where you grab tickets, and intermission snacks and drinks are reasonably priced.

The Arts Center is an AMAZING place to see a show! We went to see Get the Led Out and we couldn't have had more fun! Any seat in the auditorium is a good seat. The auditorium only holds 350 people. This was our first time and we bought front row. Front row in this venue is like sitting front row at a movie theater. I highly suggest third row and back. Also, when you purchase a beverage, the venue makes you spend an additional $5 on a sippy cup. We were not thrilled about that, however, you can use it for upcoming events. Overall, we really enjoyed ourselves. Heading back this summer with the girls to see Legally Blonde!!

Don't pass up an opportunity to see a performance here, unless it's Kiss Me Kate. But, I'm giving Arts Center of Coastal Carolina 5 stars, because the experience here is almost always great! Seriously, Kiss Me Kate's flaws lie squarely on Cole Porter and its writers, not the great actors or the Arts Center of Coastal Carolina.

Went to see my friend performing in 'Saturday Night Fever '. No matter where you sit you see the entire stage. The performance was just like visiting Broadway. If you get a chance to go here for any play I highly recommend it.

One of the worst experiences of my life. Too bad, because the performers were excellent and show, Sister Act, was a lot of fun. My wife is Concierge at a local 4 star hotel. She was leaving from work. I was meeting my wife at the door and the door Nazis would not let me try to locate her. Finally found my wife and showed them our tickets so we could get in. We attempted to enter the theater to find where we were seated and once again stopped by the inside door Nazis. When I inquired why there was extra equipment set up in the primary seating area i was told very nastily "This is a dress rehearsal. They have that set up for taking notes if they need to make any changes. They are not going to leave it like that when the show starts." I never saw that before at ANY dress rehearsal I ever was invited. Event was a dress rehearsal with food provided by Bucci's restaurant. OMG; worst Italian food I ever tasted. I had intentions of donating a large amount of money to the Arts Center, but not after that treatment. Arts Center Director needs to get some fresh and pleasant staff and deep six the old crabs they have there now.

I have enjoyed performances here in the past, however I really dislike their box office/subscription packages, and that is the reason for my low review. I have now received 2 sets of gifts certificates that I have been unable to use before they have expired, and according to the box office, there's nothing they can do. Extremely disappointed & will probably now spread both my donations and patronage to other area arts organizations. So, as you said to me, "sorry, that's how it works & there's nothing I can do."
