They are so streamlined and easy to use. As an investor, I get tired of email communication with insurance agents. Arcana is designed to save me time and while they are slightly more expensive than Farm Bureau, it's worth it. The billing gets a little hairy sometimes with weeks to resolve discrepancies but it was only like $60. I even had a claim on one of my properties and I have a check in hand for a fair amount. So you know they do actually cut checks! It did take a month or two, so make sure you have funds to do any emergency repairs until funding comes in. The 3rd party adjuster was extremely unprofessional but he got the job done. He's barely getting by doing this job I think.

All in all, great prices and convenience, and the other stuff like clunky overhead is to be expected in my opinion.

Been using Arcana for the last 4 years or so because they were referred by the local REIA. Switched 80% of our properties to another carrier 4 months ago and have yet to receive the refunds despite numerous calls into their customer service. Other refunds have taken similarly as long and when they do get processed have been wrong. Very frustrating.

Have yet to file a claim with them, but I could only imagine it would be a disaster as badly as everything else has gone.
