The Talk & Walk on Friday afternoons is most interesting and highly recommended. First a talk on the development of Amsterdam throughout the ages, and then a tour by foot among interesting buildings, mostly close to the IJ river. The tour ends at the Eye film museum.
Very small but it was interesting to learn a little bit more about the architecture in Amsterdam.
Great Architour! I learned a lot about Amsterdam from the lecture and the walking tour was very cool. A highlight of my trip for sure.

Very unique small architecture pavilion with great views of the waterways. The place has rotating architecture exhibits and serves as an information center for tours and notable sites. Friendly staff and enjoyable visit.
Interesting history and good position. They could do more, but since it's free.....

In the middle of a heavy rain shower this museum saved me and my father, with its free admittance =)
The man who welcomed us was really kind, and we passed some time reading panels(english available) on amsterdam architecture.

The center has got an architecture lecture and tour every Friday, which covers the whole history of Amsterdam housing very thoroughly. The staff is very knowledgeable and friendly and the tour was eye opening. I highly recommend it to anyone who's got an interest in architecture.
