Great late season spring skiing. Open later than other resorts.
My first time in Colorado and skiing. A-Basin was an amazing first experience. I took a lesson and my instructor was awesome! My daughter and her friends are experienced at snowboarding and skiing. They had a wonderful time as well!
I like this place it is more avanced terrain but is fun and small
A significant disappointment. The one high-speed lift gets crowded; the other lifts are too slow. The backside bowl is wind-facing and freezes up easily. There are better options.
Came for a Christmas party and wasn't disappointed. Just wish it had more accessible parking not so far away from the restaurant facilities we were at. And maybe some updated decor?
Place is tracked out by 11, if you can find parking, which is absolutely insane. Most the resort is above the treeline, so good luck seeing anything in front of you when it snows, so no refill days. I've seen better terrain parks in back yards. base lodge smells like sewer. Go to keystone where the employees dont think they're rockstars, you'll get freshies all day, and parking isnt something out of Mad Max.
Some rude hag threatened to pull my pass opening day for smelling like weed which is funny considering they sell "work free smoke place" stickers.
Another time their retail employee accused me of stalking that was rad! Still not sure who I was stalking, but to be fair I don't do it that often and still trying to get the hang of it. Peggy, their VP of Ops elected to handle the situation in public. The employee still works there, looks like a potato, and now their security follow me around like confused ducklings.
These people, and this mountain can get bent.
Great place, especially the back bowls, but too many flats for us snowboarders.
This place was amazing! I loved the runs from top to bottom, and the glades are spectacular! I would try to go later in the season to hit the East Wall.
Always my favorite. Family friendly, great terrain, great snow, and very nice staff!
Be me.
Haven't skied ever in my life.
Come here and rent skis (they don't rent goggles btw)
Ski and crash all the time.
After practicing all day, I can finally ski down green slopes.
Realized I forgot to put on sunscreen.
oof ouch bad sunburns
10/10 would ski again.
This is a good place for ski near Denver. The price of ticket is cheap among the ski resorts nearby.
Cheap tickets ... 85 for a lift pass. Not as nice as Keystone though. But that price...
It was awesome. It was extremely busy and the staff did a remarkable job getting people to where they needed to go. The friendliness of the staff was incredible. It was my best ski day of the season.
I love A Basin for snowboarding....however, this year I had to rent a snowboard and it was a terrible rental experience. Mostly the quality of the rental snowboards for me and my friend was so poor that it ruined the day. The bindings are sloppy, the board had no edge and they did not offer any options for trying different boards/bindings.
Great views. Went for Octoberfest and the free ride up the mountain. Just a short ride from the divide.
3rd weekend lots full. Waste of money for the ski pass. The experience is the same as when they were part of Epic Pass. I was hoping it would change but it is the same. Bye A Basin, I will not buy another pass and do not reccomend it.
Great place to snowboard. Not a lot of terrain for beginners, but a fun non tourist spot
Local place without the stigma of "Resort". I love this place. Lots of difficult and various terrain. Always the most snow in Colorado
My favorite ski area after 40 years of skiing. Great deal for seniors.
I love A-Basin. I used to teach skiing there. The snow is the best quality in the county because of altitude. Spectacular scenery and small mountain atmosphere. Food at the Black Mountain Lodge is excellent. Lots of challenging terrain. Limited novice terrain. Tailgate parties on "the beach", concerts and special events make this one of the best spring skiing spots in the country.
Oldest ski resort in Colorado. The Old Man. No place like it. Varied terrain. Challenging drops and breathtaking views. Kids ski school is also great. Truly a special resort, free of the normal trappings. This place is about one single thing - hitting the mountain.
