Too much flat for a skier who forgot his poles. Aw...
Too much flat for a skier who forgot his poles. Awesome piece of heaven on earth though. Would recommend to everyone.

Great resort, priced well, great for skiing, Heaps of steep options as well as beginners area. You can see Keystone and Breckenridge from the top.
This is the best place on earth. Awesome place to have my wedding.
Great little day access ski area off a highway exit.
Nice runs and friendly staff, but the lifts are terrible.
First to open last to close. Thank you A basin for the bonus day in the pandemic.
Compare to other ski resorts near by, this is fair cheap, but good conditions.
Top secret place for the army of intermediate skiers in the know. Short lines mid mountain and perfect distances on the trails.
Abasin has the longest season of any Colorado resort, so it's packed early and late in the year. There's a bunch of great terrain and if you're visiting for the holidays it's usually less crowded. The bacon bloody marts are pretty legendary, so you should probably have one of those when you go.
Still one of my favorite mountains in Colorado, especially for a little summer skiing trip.
Pretty crowded early season and most people wearing face coverings. Long lift lines
Beginner skiers beware. A blue here is a black anywhere else
The most down-to-earth mountain along the I70 corridor. The east wall has some.awesome lines.
Awesome resort. May seem crowded in the morning but its worth it
Great ski resort and "Beach" for people to grill out and hang out!
Well maintained ski resort and had a old school feel to it which I enjoyed rather than a ski resort that has way to many shops and takes 15 minutes to get to the slopes from the car. Had a great time here, this mountain is a beast.
Love the early season! Great place to go when you really want a fun day in the sun on the slopes. Beach vibe woth the lpcals of the area. Great terrain.
Live the legend great local spot. Small but great terrain
Beautiful place. Some very challenging skiing. Very crowded though presidents weekend. Should have had the lifs more efficiently populated so that the lines were smaller. A lot of traversing, which I do not like. The rope tow over to montezumas bowl was not working making for a very long traverse.
Great skiing. Conditions were good but there were bare spots.
Don't go here. It is the best ski resort in the central mountains. Tons of awesome in bounds expert terrain.
Its the legend amazing skiing killers bowls and cliff rocks and trees
Really fun Place to Ski, will ski it again early snow was good
A-Basin is most appropriate for advanced skiers and riders, although they do have a small beginner area and according to the map, 7% of the terrain is rated as "easiest". I was surprised how many cars were in the parking lot at 8A on a Wednesday, but the hill did not seem crowded and I didn't have to wait in line to get on the lift even though the Norway lift was not open. I was surprised that they kept the quad chair open while ski patrol attended to a guest who an instructor said fell off of the lift.
This is still feels like a local mountain. Unlike the other vail resorts.
What a great mountain look forward to coming back here again soon
I come here weekly. I always have a good time. Try a bloody Mary or a Moscow mule.
Terrible. Don't go. You probably won't like it. Too many technical runs and too much open space. I keep going back just to make sure it isn't for others. Too easy to get to and too high; all the snow and the extra long season are the worst. Skip it and go to Keystone or something.
Great ski area! Had not skied there in 35 years. Sunshine, great lift line attendants and one heck of a Bloody Mary made the day. I'll look forward to using each one of my Ikon pass days to ski here a lot more! Jay A. Buerger Parker, CO
It's not Keystone or Breckenridge... Something special...!
A true gem. Breathtaking views. Challenging terrain Open bowls above the tree line. A unique experience for any skier or boarder.
Snow was much better than the other mountains and the food was excellent
Love ABasin the new terrain is fun too! Got here around 1 pm and found a spot but the lot was still pretty full
Great prices on food and lift tickets, a really relaxed vibe with some really tough runs. Not a beginner mountain!! Gorgeous views from the top.
A Basin has East Wall. So much fun to ski on a powder day.
A great 'old school' mountain at the top of Summit county. There arent the mountain amenities like at Keystone or Breck but overall a great resort with some good terrain. Cant wait for the whole mountain to open so I can explore it all.
Love this place. No cell coverage it is about family and Friends
Best expert skiing in Colorado hands down. You can't get better extreme skiing inside a ski area than the West Wall. Much less crowded, not many snowboarders, people are more in control. not as much weed being smoked on the trails...they also have a wide array of easy and moderate runs as well if you are not an expert yet. it really is a place to bring your entire family!
I do love this ski area, mainly because it is open from October through July. The lifts are a bit dated compared to the other resorts in Summit County, but there's so much to ski/ride here it's worth the wait.
Make sure to get there early or much later in the afternoon! The parking lots get filled up really quickly and it's not a close jaunt to any other parking you'll find nearby.
Always one of the first places to open and the last to close! During the first few weeks of opening expect only a few runs open and longer lines (if they don't have a lot of natural snow). During peak season, the snowboarding/skiing is great and it is very close to Denver. You can't beat the beach during spring and summer riding/skiing.
for intermediate and advanced skiers, a basin is awesome. less crowded, close to Denver
Challenging ski hill with an awesome backdrop of a wall of rock and snow. Take the lift to the top of the hill and you'll find an amazing view across the ten mile range, in addition to the fantastic Montezuma Bowl and The Beavers slopes. The facilities and lifts here are kept very clean, and all the staff has been very friendly. And, of course, their prices are in the right range. Definitely coming back!
This place was super fun for a mini vacation, we stayed in dillon which was very close to the resort and it wasnt very crowded, the runs were well maintained and marked off a lot of hazards and the chair lifts were super quick. The only thing I didnt like was they had a lot of the mountain still roped off which I understand I'm just upset I missed out on all that sweet powder. They even have a little park that's great for learning beginner tricks, I do wish they had jumps though.
Great experience. I always love going there. Today they only had 1 run and lift open, but what can you expect when they are 1 or 2 ski areas open, its october, and it was in the 50s.
It was early in the season but there were only a few groomed runs. Runs are much more difficult than other parks and I think it would be much more fun if you were an experienced skier.
Small place but less crowded than other places in the area.
The slopes were great! Very nice long runs that are a little more difficult but I wouldn t call them super hard. There were some blacks and double blacks that looked very difficult, so if you want a challenge this place is probably good for you. The mountain is not huge but there is lots of quality runs. It was not crowded at all, so we did not wait in a single line to get on a lift. I would recommend going here!
A ski resort of a special kind. Wonderful ski pistes, for experienced also through the woods. Highly recommended.
This is one of my favorite areas to ski. Great terrain and beautiful scenery.
Amazing!!! Very friendly staff, very helpful. I visited from GA i wasn't sure which ski resort i should go to , i came across this one with good reviews and we decided to go. So worth it. We have a great time. 2 thumbs up!
Still the classic quintessential Colorado ski area!
Fun area to ski or snowboard. Taylor gave us a great lesson on the last day of the Spring season and it was so much fun! There is a bar overlooking the hills and you can watch people go down the slopes in costumes or nude in the springtime. Definitely the place to go for a good time!
This place was great. We had a good time. Parking wasn't a hassle like other places
The addition of Beavers area really link the mountain together... Always love A-Basin but now it's so much better.
Lifts closed early, expected some lightning. Cover is light, but it was still fun!
Not a lot of good runs for beginner, if your experienced, great place. Lifts were a little backed up
Great place for skiing and snowboarding with trails for every level
This is a special place! Get the BBQ at the lodge on the mountain. Generous portions and reasonable price!
The Legend.. great terrain, laid back environment, old school, love it
Great skiing and snowboarding mountain, great food.
It might be small but it's so fun and so chill, which makes for a great weekend. Definitely recommend it.
Best snow in summit county. All kinds of above tree-line goodness. Super non-corporate feeling. "Here is our parking lot, there are the lifts." Look for posh resorts elsewhere, come here to RIDE
Mask up and ride down! Molly Hogan is open for the kiddos and some main runs are open for the parents! Follow the rules and social distance and you will be just fine! See you on the slopes!
They don't call it "The Legend" for no reason. Besides excellent snow, the 6th alley bar and grill is a great place to get a drink and a bite, and they just opened a new restaurant at the top that is awesome!
