Working for AquaSafe Pool Management was one of the best experiences I've ever had as a lifeguard. From the beginning, everyone in the office was very helpful and I was so encouraged by the orientation they held for us as we prepared to go into the season. I've worked for several guard agencies, but this one was by far the best. My supervisor Petar explained everything I needed to know in a very clear way and was always available to clarify anything by call/text. He always came to the pool and took care of everything, allowing me to focus on keeping the pool a happy and safe place for the residents at my assigned complex. I loved working for AquaSafe and I really hope I can return for the 2017 summer!

The lifeguard in our complex pool seems to be on some sort of power trip. He tends to pick and choose who gets to follow what rules and who doesn't. He's rude and disrespectful. Stares at the females in bikinis all day.

This company manages the pool at our apartment. The guards are constantly on their phones (even going as far as FaceTiming while ' on duty') not paying attention. There were also 2 guards out there today but for some reason they were not rotating watching the pool. Instead the one watching the pool was "going on break" (from watching his phone) and making everyone get out while the other did nothing the whole time.
I don't care so much about myself as I'm a highly experienced swimmer, but if you're doing a job you're hired to do, you're obligated to do it well.
We've had others that have been good guards, but there have repeatedly been guards sitting on their phones the whole time and smoking pot in the lifeguard office...

So far Akeliya by far is the most kind and friendly lifeguards we have had at Annapolis Overlook in the past few years. Always very attentive to the children and pleasant to the adults. Always in a great mood with a smile on her face!

Aquasafe has thoroughly impressed me. I've lived in many different communities and often times like to get to know the staff for the pools being that I have a son who frequents the pool. From the very first day they showed passion, and professionalism. I'm not sure what the algorithm or method is for picking the staff but they have done an amazing job at providing quality and unparalleled customer service.

I recently relocated to Washington township, New Jersey. This was the first company I saw hiring for lifeguards on indeed and the interview was quick, professional, and still fun. I hope the guy who interviewed me is around for all of the events he spoke about.
Been coming to the pool all summer and the lifeguard has been punctual and the best by far! It adds to the overall experience when we bring the kids down. Good Job at the pool.
The lifeguards at Charlesmont apartments are a joke. I visited the pool on June 19th and the lifeguards are never ready for residents. They don't check or take pool passes, so they have no idea who is in the pool area. Several parents dropped their pre teen and early teen kids off on this day, to be watched by lifeguards. Kids were running around the pool, one even got hurt while the guards were on their phones texting or social media. Have pics.
As long as residents feed the lifeguards, they can bring whoever they want into the pool area without passes. The residents feeding the lifeguards are allowed to keep their food in the refrigerator even after they have been told by apartment management that no food is allowed in the fridge due to chemicals and no resident is allowed in that room. They allowchildren to climb the lifeguard chair and jump into pool, and play with the hose while filling the pool.
July 4th, again didnt take pool passes or check them. Anyone can walk in.
Pool rules change daily, even with the same guards, and aren't consistent with each child.
Lifeguards are rude to children and residents unless you feed them.
July 7th, one of the lifeguards got into the face of a 6 year old for jumping into the pool the same way a 7 year old girl did. She did a cartwheel into the pool the little boy just put his hands on the side of the pool and jumped in that way, next thing we know the lifeguard is in his face. Wouldnt let him in the deep part, even after he had passed the swim test twice, even though he was with a parent within arms reach. Apartment management said each child will have to do swim test every day they go to pool.
July 8. 6 year old boy goes to pool and lifeguard singles him out and asked if he knows the rules of the pool. Did he ask other children? Other children come in after them and these children are out in the deep areas without parents and not made to take swim test. Where is the consistency for each child? Where is the rule the apartment manager laid out the day before?

The pool is often dirty, the lifeguards are never ready for residents when the pool opens.
I took a blended learning class at the end of the month and loved it! The instructor was responsive, made me feel comfortable and answered every question I had! Hands down one of the best experiences I ve had!

Poor first impression when returning to my pool with my kids only to be told no floatation devices at all and that was policy. While I understand the safety aspect...As a homeowner who pays my HOA fees I likely would've voted with my money to NOT hire this company. But that's beside the point. They were so concerned about not allowing floatation devices that I saw on multiple occasion the guard in the chair on their phone. You are paid to WATCH myself AND my kids, not browse social media or whatever it may have been. The no floatation device seemed to be a crutch for laziness. The final straw was as I watched a guard wearing gloves mind you dump not one, but two buckets of chemicals DIRECTLY into a trap where a family was swimming less than 8 feet away. So glad he was concerned for HIS safety with the gloves on. I know once it comes time to pick another vendor, I will be vocal with my HOA. Terrible first impression.

The best summer job you can imagine! Working as an international student here was absolutely the best option for my first time in the US. I am lucky enough to live with my supervisor, Dorlan Hunter, what makes my presence here much more funny and entertaining. We're always on the road, meeting other lifeguards, organizing activities for our team and just enjoying our summer together. Dorlan is always eager to spend time with his lifeguards, he copes with our issues as soon as possible and sacrifices his time if we need him, showing his brilliant manager skills and just being a friend for all of us so working for AquaSafe is an amazing experience - you will have an opportunity to work with people all over the world, participate in AquaSafe events (such as soccer tournament, lifeguards Olympics and trips to different places) and to see how good you are at safeguarding the most precious. I just recently visited for the first time and I can t wait to come back to visit! I heard about this place from a friend and stopped by on my day off and it made my day amazing!
