Amazing service and probably some of the best Asia...
Amazing service and probably some of the best Asian food I've had in a while!!! Looking fwd to going back soon!
Amazing service and probably some of the best Asian food I've had in a while!!! Looking fwd to going back soon!
First time I came here for dinner. Lamb dish and beef in squash were very good. I learned that they have dim sum for lunch and decided to give that a try. Came back in few days for dim sum and really enjoyed it. Both times I was served good tea with my food. Servers were very friendly.
This is more of a high class establishment . Dont expect the prices to be small.
Been there at least 4 times. Has typical "American Chinese" on menu but also traditional Chinese dishes which I prefer to try. Always good!!! Good vegetarian dishes as well as meat dishes. The green beans and bok choy are great. Try the lettuce wrap chicken appetizer.
Service was good not great. They got the orders wrong and was rushing. They did not know how to make a White Russian and screw up the drink. Horrible experience but worth a try.
Well this is the worst service that I had in years. The moment that the host recognised that we spoke Mandarine, they start to treat us badly. They let Cantonese speaking guests cut in line in front of us AND let us wait for half an hour when we clearly see an open table. When we are seated, they continue to keep us wait for like 10 min until a kind Mandarine speaking lady come to us.
Loved it! Old school dim sum on carts! Everything taste great, like my childhood in NYC Chinatown! The wait wasn't bad on a Saturday lunch rush. Try everything if you are new to dim sum only then you would ever know what you like :) The cart ladies were much nicer then the wait staff. They showed us what they had in the cart and explained if we didn't know. Ask for a dim sum menu so they can point to the picture if they can't translate to English. And you can point to tell them what you want.
Wonderful authentic Chinese restaurant. Beautiful dining area. Situated in a nice little section of Fort Lee. Parking can be a challenge.
Skip the NYC Chinatown crowd and come here. Professional, clean, and pleasant experience!
Good dim sum place in Bergen county. In the heart of fort Lee is Aquarius seafood, they have all the selection as you would find in any Chinatown, Brooklyn and queens dim sum places, I would say as good as most of them. Come early, it gets packed quick. The valet parking is a nice touch
The food is amazing!!! Not your average Chinese place. Dim sum is great too.
Another good dim sum place to go to in Bergen county. Push carts in the weekends and on weekdays on-demand dim sum for a slightly higher price. Weekend wait can be long.
Food is good. It might be an advantage if you speak Chinese. Place is always packed but there's free valet parking that's owned by the restaurant that's good for 2 hours then $10 for every half hour after 2 hours. Since it's always packed, you might have to share a table with someone.
Definitely a place worth visiting, the food is fantastic and well prepared, the rates are reasonable and it is consistently well kept in here. Keep it up.
The food was mediocre at best. The variety of dim sum dishes were limited.
At last North jersey heard my prayers. After many years of driving miles to NYCT, Flushing and Bk I can finally stay in the comfort of my now hometown for some delicious, aunthentic and well made dim sum !! Dreams do come true people
Great Young Chow fried rice great wonton soup everything that I thought I've had was very good phone but a little pricey
Good food but bad service. Service definitely needs improvement. We were rushed out of there.
Best chinese in the area, we go at least 2x a month
Very poor customer service, very bad experience, won't be back for more.
This is a Cantonese restaurant. Every Saturday and Sunday, there is a wide-style tea drinking. The business is very good and the price is fair. It is worth tasting.
Dim sum is always great here at Aquarius and service was incredible, busy till end of dim sum at 3pm I had a incredible meal today thank you to the people of Aquarius.
It was super. Fabulous food great wait staff. Go and enjoy
Called in the morning to place an order for 2 Peking duck ($100 order). After waiting for over an hour they gave us our food with a simple sorry for the wait . The line of upset and impatient customers, canceling orders and walking out should ve been a working sign.
They didn t try to fix the situation, even after bringing the issue to their attention the response was we are busy so you have to deal with it .
A minor scene was required to compel an insulting 10% discount. I haven t seen any other reviews for this place but I sure hope the food is worth the experience
I've been here twice. The food was great but the service was poor especially on my second visit. Waited 1/2 hour for our appetizer and the entrees came in slowly. What I noticed also was others who came after us got their food in timely fashion. Maybe you have to be Asian or white to get a proper service at this establishment. I was very disappointed because I really enjoyed the food.
I've been to this place for dimsum and banquet style food. The food is good quality and flavorful, one of the better places to get legit Chinese food in North Jersey.
Great customer service, food was great, but the food was a bit on the expensive side (1 less star), but if strictly based on service and food then 5 stars. This is as authentic as it gets!
As a Cantonese, the dim sum here is beyond what I will simply call good. Every weekend morning there is a long queue and an expected waiting time of about 40 minutes. But it never stop me driving for one and a half hours every weekend the join the queue. But the hidden gem is their Cantonese dinner dishes like steam fish. If I will have to pick one restaurant to recommend in NJ, this will be the one.
Best Dim sum in jersey ! Whole Jersey ! Every Sunday is our routine lunch time there ! Never regretted
This is the only place I would go for Chinese food in Fort Lee.
After rebranding, this place serves pretty high quality Chinese food. Staff here are super helpful at finding best options for you to eat. Does get overwhelming if it is busy.
Edit: went again for dim sum, which IMO is better than their normal menu. Overall the taste and quality are much better than most dim sum places in New York and oftentimes cheaper
Delicious authentic chinese dimsum in fort lee. Very nice decor, feels like an upscale chinese restaurant. Staff are friendly and attentive and service is quick even if you order from the menu. Only reason i give this place a 4 star is because of their fried calamari. The batter they used tastes like a funnel cake. So the sweet batter with the calamari does not mingle well together.
This Chinese restaurant food is excellent. Beef and seafood ingredients are fresh and taste is wonderful. Dimsum is great as well.
Authentic Cantonese dim sum cuisine, fresh and well cooked, nice staffs who can joke around. Also don't miss normal lunch and dinner dishes, they are also great! Recommend shrimp with crab meat and pan fried lobster.
It was okay Chinese food. Dim sum was pricey. No surcharge items, just normal stuff. Seafood choices not that much.
Quasi HongKong traditional dimsum restaurant. Great pricing and tasty.
This spot obviously knows how to satisfy their customers. Always with a very friendly approach. The food is reasonably priced, constantly flavorful and neat.
Declining. Bathroom is malfunction, and doesnt even bother to put table cloth. But the food is still great. I hope they can keep it up...
Food is good, not expensive. I've been there twice, love it
Nice clean restaurant with pretty good dim sum and decent service. Sometimes it gets very crowded and they do rush you around (esp. on the weekends) but if you visit on a quiet weekday morning then it all works perfectly.
I love this place. It's great for dim sum and other favorites like Peking pork chops, golden fried rice, walnut shrimp, braised tofu, curry beef stew in a kabocha squash, fish maw soup, the list goes on! This must be the best Cantonese restaurant in Bergen!
Aquarius and Soup Dumping Plus are the only good Chinese restaurants in Fort Lee and surrounding neighborhood.
Thoroughly enjoyed the soup dumplings (I'm uncultured so I don't know the proper terminology) and the pork dumplings. A Chinese friend of mine had strongly recommended I go with a Chinese friend, but I didn't have that option because it was a family dinner. I also tried the fried lobster and it was alright. Had to get a little hands on as one does with lobster. Overall had a great experience with the food and the service.
Their dim sum dishes were delicious. However their main course dishes did not have as much flavor or spice to them. Also I thought the prices were a little too high.
Fresh food, great prices and sizeable portions. I enjoyed my birthday dim sum meal here. Unfortunately the tray cart dumplings were a bit on the colder side. The ones from the back came out hot and fresh. Felt a bit understaffed for the amount of people. Would absolutely come back.
Great service, food was prepared well, price was more than fair.
Good Chinese food... Authentic Cantonese cuisine, decent service.
July 21, 2019 UPDATE
Apparently there is a new head chef in town, as the quality of the dim sum has greatly improved. We stopped coming here about a year ago because of the declining quality/taste of the dim sum.... But we decided to come back again, since it's too far to drive to Flushing. We're glad we gave this place another shot. While the service is still less than desirable (a bit rude, rushed, and curt), we'll have to give them the benefit of the doubt as there is a mad crush of people on the weekends, especially during the busy brunch hours.
Their dim sum and Southern Chinese hundreds flowers chicken ( ) are excellent!
Hot and sour soup is the best I've had in NYC and NJ. Love the Beijing roasted duck too!
Wavered between two and three stars here. Went with three because the staff seems nice and some of the food was quite good.
First I'll say that the wait staff is attentive and nice. Second, and this addresses that appreciation for this place could be a matter of personal preferences... despite my affinity for Asian (though particularly Japanese) culture and food, I personally can never get into dining as a group a la carte, nevermind when they're literally roving around the crowded restaurant with carts asking you every five minutes if you want any of the baskets of food from what's on their cart at the moment.
I do not enjoy everyone in your party at the restaurant table sharing the food like a family dinner (but only filling small plates a few items at a time, frequently), even when dining out with family. I want to fill my plate once or twice and be done with it, not the mosquito attack approach to dining which to me is just way too active and involved. I prefer to order my own meal whole and then dine in peace, not eat in short bursts interrupted every five minutes by the next possible selections.
Besides, as opposed to choosing your own individual meal in one shot from the menu, this cart approach really adds up on your table's bill quickly.
The decor of the place is eh, the atmosphere is noisy, some of the food is really quite good and some of it is rather disappointing.
In summary, nice enough people, I wish them well, some of the selections were delicious, but I found the price exceeded the overall quality/experience, and (not following a stereotype here) less than an hour later and not a small bill, I found myself hungry again (no this does not happen to me every time I order Chinese food).
Also, to each their own, but not my dining style, definitely not a place to kick back, relax, and enjoy your own meal in peace. To those who enjoy a more active, group-participation style of dining, this might be more your thing, and as a repeat customer you'd get a better idea for what selections they excel at so as to make your ordering more efficient.
Being that this is the only Dim sum restaurant across several towns in the area, this establishment does very well. Standard menu is great but, dim sum can be hit or miss. Quality of food is good but, depending on which dim sum dish you are endulging on, flavors and texture of food was not always consistent. Service is better than most Chinese restaurants I've experienced.
Usual wait time is expected to be anywhere from 5-10 mins but, that can vary by if you want to be seated privately or would share a large table with other small parties.
This is a new restaurant, the old one - Silver Pond, closed down. Their dim sum is quite good but it doesn't have all the items that I remember from the old place. It's still pretty darn good.
I feel so fortunate to have this authentic Cantonese restaurant in the neighborhood, and I don t need to travel to Flushing anymore! I had a family gathering there, the great service and food quality made all my family members wanted to go back again. It s a BYOB restaurant, and it allows you to bring birthday cake, those give you more flexibilities. Definitely recommend it to everyone!
Dim Sum FTW. A good range of items at reasonable prices.
If you go to lunch, you can see the serving of the cart.
The shrimp is sturdy and the price is reasonable.
Peking virtue is not in the lunch on weekdays and can be ordered in half.
First time been here since it changed the name of restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised about the dim sum. It was delicious and decor has been updated nicely.
Not a bad place for dimsum. The quality is definitely there, but the selection is pretty small.
There was only one cart for the steamed dimsum, one cart for the pastries dimsum, and one cart for the porridge.
So the selection is small, but the prices are OK, and the quality is decent.
A solid place in Fort Lee to get dim sum and other authentic Chinese dishes. Prices are a bit high to me. I feel like the dim sum is too expensive. Service is hit or miss. But a good variety of dishes to try .
The food was great and the service was even better.
