Ordered for first time for pickup and was done way before 30 minutes. Got home and was still hot. General Taos chicken was good but not sure if was all white meat like I asked. The spring rolls looked like a tiny cigar and barely anything in them. Supposed to be shrimp? Not worth 6.95. There were 6 ... threw out..

This is a very elegant Chinese restaurant. They have excellent service, delicious food and the place is authentic I feel like I am in a nice restaurant in China.

They have the dim sum pushcarts (before 3pm) the place is fun and chaotic on the weekends.

I love this place and missed it so much during COVID.

We went to other places while this was closed. None were as elegant. And the dim sum here is the best. We always come for dim sum and a noodle. But the rest of the menu looks good also.

While they were closed for COVID we had a chance to try other Chinese restaurants and really none compare.

This is an authentic and elegant Chinese restaurant. The service, the food, and the decor are without comparison.

The others that we visited were more casual and one looked like a take out place but was rated super high on here. Meh

Come for dim sum before 3pm for the pushcarts

From daytime dim sum to dinner Aquarius presents a constellation of dishes in a simple yet elegant setting. The real stars are the solid staples of Cantonese cuisine. Location at Fort Lee means easy access for Rockland and Bergen, but also for Northern Manhattan via quick shuttle buses at the GWB bus terminal. Escape the city for a day and check it out.

I have been here a couple of times. At night and afternoon. The food is very good our night server Mr. Sihng was amazing he speaks Chinese, Spanish, and English. The afternoon service Dim sum was amazing but waiter service was poor. They prefer to sit and talk to each other then serve, at least the younger girl. The women in the carts were great! I would have given more stars but this Place is SNEAKY with money. When we came in they put a tea set on our table before we sat then charged us for it at the end. it was only 2 dollars but sneaky and did not sit well with me.

After trying many dim sum places in Chinatown, NYC, this place is a hidden gem! Spare ribs are a must. I'm glad I finally got to try their dim sum menu. Def more price friendly than NYC spots and quality was superb.

The food was absolutely fantastic, but the wait and service was terrible. It took forever for us to order because our server kept walking away every time we asked for something. Also, it took at least 45 minutes if not an hour for our appetizers to come out. The food was definitely worth it though.

One of best restaurants for authentic dim sum in NJ. They offer push carts pre-Covid but I m not sure they still have that. You can always order of the menu and I prefer that because then it s delivered to you fresh. They currently offer limited indoor dining and takeout and delivery via Doordash. They individually pack each item for takeout and food is still delicious but not as good having there of course.

Definitely don t go!!! Came twice, never be seated. Poor service, don t allow us to dine in but take out... How come a restaurant treat clients like this? When restaurants next to this open till 2am, but this Aquarius close at 8pm and don t accept clients with poor attitude, clients will go to competitor restaurants instead, won t they? That s exactly what I did, and I won t come back anymore.

Great authentic Chinese food for dinner, but service was a little impatient and short.

Came back for dim sum and will probably never come back. I asked how long the wait is, and was told it ll be quick . When I asked again for a time frame, the lady at the registered snapped and said i just said it ll be quick! The food was good but service was god awful. The carts stayed in one place the whole time and the lady attending the cart just walked around giving people soy sauce so you can t even physically walk over to get food and have your tab stamped. It took over 15-20 minutes to even get a dish onto the table (which for dim sum, this is extremely slow). For a meal that should ve been relatively quick, it took 2 hours because it took forever to just get attention and to get food. The food is good, but not worth it if this is the service you get.

Don't place and pay for your order online if you want to the worst pick-up and customer service experience even if you received email confirmation, and expect to pick up your food or it will be ready. Got to restaurant 35 minutes after confirmation email received with 2 different staffs asking for my phone number more than 10 times and failed to acknowledge the fact they never received my order. Since online payment was made, a refund was requested and one of the staff walked away immediately and the other staff says the refund will take 1 day and she can't do it. Need to wait for their boss to come to work (they don't know when the boss will be here - they said soon - define SOON?) Then she dashed as well and left my son and I hanging around at the reception desk. Guess this is acceptable customer service these days and $80 down.

Not good. They must focus on purchasing the cheapest possible ingredients and it shows on the food they serve. The worst sesame chicken I ve had in my life, a small amount of processed chicken meat mostly covered in a soggy batter . How can you mess up on such simple dish??

Likeable staff.

Likeable staff.
Tasty Cantonese cuisine this side of the Hudson River. No need to hit traffic, parking or tolls. Naturally priced higher.
Clean restroom.
I believe they did not renew their liquor license, so they only serve wine and beer.

Greatest flounders around! Once a year we come here to eat two flounders; one steamed and one fried. It s not cheap; this weekend the market price made it $28.50 each, but it is delicious and the staff is very good at taking out the spine. We also get the chow fun, which is good, and the Gai Lam for Petra. You can bring your own drinks. Service is nice, all kinds of people come, whether it s serious Chinese families or older Jersey Jews who love the food or groups of young people celebrating something. The Dim Sum is famous but we haven t tried yet. All in all, fantastic!

Incredibly and unapologetically mismanaged place. We placed an order for 5 people at 11:45am, and was given a 45-minute estimate for picking up the food. We arrived at 12:30pm and was told to wait, and there is no estimate when it would be ready. You are told to "just wait". Food did not come out until 2:00pm!!

The staff was indifferent and there was no communication between the front of house and kitchen, and absolutely no customer service practiced. The restaurant was packed with patrons in the same situation who were waiting a long time for their orders, standing in the way of dim sum carts going around for the guests that were doing dine-in.

The orders come out and are placed on a table & the staff do not even have the courtesy to announce the name or order number, so like hungry sharks circling for food everyone watches and then runs forward to check if it is finally their food.

This place is not safe during the COVID-19 pandemic due to their system and ineptitude when it comes to to-go order management, and should not exist during the best of times since they cannot take care of customer orders.

Be Prepared for inflated prices, inferior service ( we begged for water it came 25 minutes in to dinner ) the food is good and they even have a section for " American Chinese Food "
That has your typical Gen Tso and Sesame Chk. I wish them well but this is a one and out , I miss Silver Pond

As authentic as Chinatown in NYC or anywhere else. Had the fried crispy chicken, Peking duck, string beans, flounder and beef with pan fried noodles. All very tasty, as best anywhere.
Will come back asap.

I called around 3pm to make a reservation and explicitly asked them if they had Peking duck, they said yes and I made the reservation for 5pm. We showed up at 5, and they said they were out of Peking duck. We ordered dumplings, soups, shredded beef and sauteed chicken with mango and Singapore noodles. The hot and sour soup was excellent. Then they brought out the noodles which was good. About 10 minutes later they brought out the shredded beef, another ten minutes for the chicken. And finally one of the 2 appetizers we ordered: the sui mai, which was ok, not steaming hot as my son pointed out. And the pan fried pork dumplings never came, and we pointed that out. They took it off the bill. Also my son had to run out to get some beer (they don't have a liquor license), and when he got back his soup was cold, but they brought him a new hot one! So, all in all, disappointing. I give them a 5 for effort (they were really nice!) But a 3 for execution.

There aren t a ton of dim sum places in the area, but this one is worth dropping by. Expect to wait 30 minutes on a normal day (even during COVID), but you ll get to eat right away when you re seated. The food is good and the price is right.

I asked at the same time as opening. Tenshin steamed in a wagon can be transported in piles. It will show you one by one whether you eat. When you get one dish, the paper on the table is stamped. It may be just right to go by three people because there are about three heavenly hearts etc. There was a menu for the time being, but others seem to take time. We can enjoy various things and think that girl is fun! It was affordable even if I ate full.

Edit: bumping this back up to a 4 star rating. Quality had slipped during the early pandemic days and service wasn t quite up to snuff. However it is much improved now and the food is as good as usual. Dim sum selection seems smaller than before if I recall correctly but I rather a good but small selection.

3 1/2 stars for the food alone. Small and pack with tables. We came in around 1:15pm on a Sunday, a lot of people waiting but surprisingly we got a table after 25mins. The dim sum was really good, not greasy. I particularly like the chicken feet( ), taste different than the norm; and durian pastry( ), it was still hot, just out of the oven! The service was ok.

Bad service. Can t handle heavy load in term of online order. Ordered at around 11:30AM. Waited and Picked up at around 1:45PM. Even sit in got faster service than pickup. The staffs did not seem to care. Do you want to wait or you can cancel , oh, I don t know how long it will take , maybe 30min, maybe 45min, you had to wait and see . Adding some angers among customers.

And of course, there is a lot of people waiting indoor and air circulation was bad. Kindly creating an unsafe environment for both the customers and staffs during pandemic.

But, you don t have another good Chinese restaurant nearby within driving distance. So suck it

You couldn't get better dim sum outside of Chinatown! After moving to Fort Lee from Manhattan I had sorely missed the Chinatown experience but was rather unwilling to make the hour long journey, this has absolutely filled that void and then some! Great dim sum menu and I would totally recommend the Shu Mai, Bamboo Shoot and Pork Roll, and Beef Rice Roll which are my personal faves. Great standard menu as well!

Can't believe there is a decent dim sum place outside of a Chinatown. The food tasted pretty close to what you get in Chinatown. Some dishes were a bit salty but not too bad. A lot of the same things you find in a Dim sum place. Prices weren't too bad. Seems well kept. Staff wasn't rude. But this is just first time visit impressions. Will try again many times and see if they still are just as good.
