First time here - I felt like a kid in a then park. It's not too big, just the right size to enjoy a day of entertainment and learning about nature. Outside features a great view of the wharf and what i would best describe as a petting zoo for sharks and rays. Pretty amazing - the tanks inside feature meant of the local ocean wildlife including sharks, giant rays, fish, and crustaceans. Great place for kids and grown ups alike.

The aquarium itself is great, but the parking payment system is outdated and awfully clunky. It just does not work well.
Also, I don't understand, why validating the parking ticket only gives you a discount, instead of validating the full price. Especially, since every vehicle generates at least $60 revenue. If this still is not cost effective, they could add full parking validation as an option at ticket purchase.
This saving on the wrong end was quite a downer when trying to leave this otherwise pleasant aquarium.

Cheaper then Sea World and lots of fun! You can pet starfish, sting rays even moon Jelly's and the people that work there are so informative and friendly! It was under 30 bucks for us and baby was free after 5. You can go from morning to 5 or the night time which is cheaper and the place is lit up and really nice!

Good sized Aquarium. Large Aquarium parking lot across the street. Other lots located within walking distance. Exhibit space is split between indoor and outdoor. Tons of different tanks showing different ocean climates. Several different touch-tank experiences (ranging from tide pool style to small sharks and rays). Lorikeet experience for an additional fee. Easy way to spend an hour or two if you're in the Long Beach area with a group. Good for kids.

I love this aquarium, but its very very crowded on the weekends. It seems it is in need of a severe maintance plan as some of the tanks are cloudy and alge growth in the touch tanks. The center aquarium directly to the rear of the entrance in the main building has a scheduled diver and draws crowds for good reason. This is a air conditioned crowd pleasing family friendly educational destination. Its close to the lighthouse and alot of good restaurants.

Fun, educational place! I liked touching the rays! Had a HUGE problem trying to leave Pike Parking Garage after validating parking at the Aquarium. Parking validation for the Aquarium is good for 24 hours for $8!

Kids had fun touching the moon jellies, bat rays and more. Shows and short 4D movies available. Give them your parking ticket and they will give you another and you ll only pay half the price, $8. Food is over priced and you don t get much if it, if on a budget take your own lunch. The have a booklet and kids get to emboss at different stations.

Always a great time at the aquarium. The family membership is worth it for the year. Their conservancy efforts are awesome and the education they give the kids is worth the price many times over

So I went to visit this aquarium for my class on Saturday 5/25/19 and it was around 1 or 1:15 when me and my friends were leaving when we met the rudest securities in the garage, they were two females. Honestly this is one of the nicest aquarium that I've visited so far. nice information, staff, and beautiful view. the only bad thing that ruined my day was the securities in the garage. They were absolutely disrespectful, had a very very bad attitude, one of them told my sister to get out of the car to fight her. I don't understand how a SECURITY(someone who is supposed to protect people) would say something like this to people. I thought i would recommended to people, and I thought I can take my niece with me, but I cannot let my niece see rude people like them. I don't think I will ever go back to this aquarium.

I liked how they seem to take good care of the animals and the place was clean. We got there late so only had three hours til closing. The cost was pretty high but not a lot to do or see so we didn't even stay the whole three hours. Place was good but the value was not.

It was so busy and they don't have any flow set up for the traffic you can go in and out either side of the exhibits. We we're only there for about an hour because it was just too chaotic
