The Frog Exhibit was amazing but the organization is somewhat confusing especially on a busy day. I don't know if they allow you to bring in drinks, but just know that a 20oz soda will cost 4.50 which is ridiculous so before you go I'd check or bring a purse.

I had a blast here while I was on Vaca from Seattle and the staff was very friendley. Have to say one of the coolest Aquariums I been too. Defent recommend :)

Great place to stroll and educate yourself on the Ocean and it's habitants.

My girls were visiting & we took them to Pier 39 & we all wanted to visit the aquarium. Oh My Gosh we had a great time & the interaction with some the small stingray & the lizard was Awesome.

Wow, it's really grown! I would say it's either here or Monterey for the best aquarium for me. I need to go to Atlanta's aquarium though, I hear it's spectacular

I liked it. Kids got bored quickly unfortunately. Has a great set up for water conservation.

Too many people tbhhh. Had to go to another structure for parking.

Great place to learn about sea life. They recently added a new addition which is phenomenal.

Great place to go with friends and family. The price was a little high but I believe you can get a discount from the information booth just outside the aquarium.

Dropped by a couple months ago after buying my tickets online. No hiccups online or once I arrived with family.

Okay, I'm a little late in posting this review. Admission is FREE this week (Jan. 4th-7th) for SF residents (just show ID) and today is the last day. Sorry! They close at 6pm today so there's still time if you go now. Go!!

My son took me there for Mother's Day loved it it was amazing I got to see the Penguins it was a great day for Mother's Day

Great place to take a 2 month old, but make sure you have baby carrier with th baby facing forward...they'll enjoy it!

Great place for the kids. They have so much marine life that children love. I must say it is a quick visit type of activity, especially on the weekends when it is most crowded. That makes you move through the exhibits much faster. Annual pass is a great option for families in order to visit more times. I definitely recommend to check on goggle they foot-traffic meter and visit when it's lower.

Even though they had to limit the Aquarium to just outside it was still fun. The food is really good and the staff was fantastic!

Can be crowded during peak hours. If you want to go check this place out, I suggest getting there early to avoid the afternoon rush.

Great aquarium for the whole family. If you're going on a weekend, make sure you come early. We came at 10am on a Saturday and there were already lots of people but still comfortable. When we walked out at 2pm, there was already a line to go in. We liked the stingray exhibits and the Blue Cavern show. There's also a small area to play for the little ones.

Yes , I was there I went on December 20. Ho well I have good time for me was all about pass a good family time with my son Adan and daughter .
I got a discounted price because. On the kiosk they have a book for tourists info and I got $8 per ticket on 4 people. Just there is other things to do like a ride on ships . Oh well, get there. Early ask around

Abilities Night was AWESOME. Not having to fight a crowd or worry about my daughter, who is deaf, enjoy a bit of freedom in a safe environment. Can't wait for next year.

I've been coming for years to this beautiful aquarium. They have great events every month for different age groups. The Night Dive events are some of my favorite to attend. Honestly, one of the many reasons I go back to my hometown of Long Beach.

We went on whale watching boat tour. No whales but hundreds of dolphins! It was the most amazing thing to see! The kids got a little bored and fell asleep but it's worth doing it at least once. Next we'll stick with the aquarium tour.

Very nice experience at the Aquarium of the Pacific. There are many different types of animals and fish to see. The aquarium is clean and the employees are friendly. It can, at times, be very busy but that is the same with any attraction. This is a fun and educational place for families to go on vacation.

Senior Aquarist and staff are very Ungrateful and inconsiderate to volunteers. Im very disappointed with this aquarium. I enjoy spending time working with the sea animals but I did Not enjoy how disrespectful the senior aquarist and staff treated me. I do not recommend this place.

Went to see the turtles with my nephews. Had a great time. Must visit again

I took my son here for his 2nd birthday it was GREAT! Make sure to take comfy shoes there s lots of walking since there s so many awesome exhibits. Make sure to get your booklet so you can get a stamp from each exhibit! The 3D movie was great and the fruit smoothies in the outside food area were delicious. Definitely will come back!

Fun for the whole family. I saw little kids enjoying themselves. It was still engaging enough for adults, too.

Very friendly and helpful staff. Clean and entertaining with many activities for anyone. Usually crowded in mornings and afternoons.

Beautiful . Parking nearby. Neighboring restaurants offer discounted parking. On the second floor and outside the aquarium offers an activity in which children can get their hands on animals. My kids loved this part. I recommend.

I just love visiting the aquarium. There's just something about looking at fish swim that's so captivating

Overall good place to go. Exhibits are nice although certain ones can get crowded. As expected, shows will get crowded as well.

This is a great Aquarium for kids age 3-12!! Great variety of marine life and we'll worth the cost of admission. AAA AND military discounts allowed.

Nice place to visit with lots to see but the price, IMHO, is too high. Best to get a combo ticket so the price drops to $25.

The jellyfish exhibits are the best. You can touch moon jellies here!!!

The tix are a little expensive, but i feel like it was worth it. Place is HUGE and there's so much to see and learn, we didn't get to finish it all. All the employees are super nice, and the volunteers are even nicer!! Knowledgeable as well!! There are lots of hands on and interactive exhibits, so it's good for everyone in the family. We live in SD yet we are considering the drive and getting annual passes because one afternoon wasn't enough Our favorite thing to do was the lorikeet encounter!!

Could of been a bit bigger and it would be nice if they didn't charge extra just to watch a short movie or charge extra to see birds up close. However the exhibits throughout the aquarium were nice and had many different forms of aquatic life forms.

Really geared up for kids..... fantastic. Gift shop is very good , the film shows highlight what we can do to help safe the planet.

This a place for children and their parents to explore sea lives and learn about them. The movie shows and theatre are quite educational. You can also go whale watching which is arranged by the aquarium itself. You can also go to sightseeing and shop in the nearby pike outlet. Its a beautiful place for fun with family.

Great place to take the kids. Lots of hands on exhibits. There are sea otters, penguins, lorikeets, jellies, frogs, shark lagoon. Watch divers feed the fish.

My son and I love coming here with my parents. We go at least once a month. It's a nice place and the staff along with the volunteers are awesome.

If you live in socal make sure get the anual its cheap around 130 including 2 parents plus 2 kids.. and its a tax desuctable.

Love coming here with my kids always lots of fun. I would recommend if you live nearby to get a membership and the parking vouchers for 20$ the memberships pays for itself in 2 Visits.

Lots of touch and learning stations for kids. It was too crowded to see the penguins and sea otters but my kids loved the frogs. :)

Kids loved the hands on ponds but it was a little over crowded about two hours after we got there on a weekend. Gift shop was fantastic.

Really really enjoyed our visit! Would not recommend going on a weekend or holiday it can get extremely crowded and there's alot to read and look at so you can feel a bit rushed at times. Went for my daughter's 1 year Birthday and she had a blast!!!

Had a great time at the Aquarium! It was crowded but we were still able to see everything.

Excellent aquarium that is large enough for the big crowds that are inevitable on the weekends. The exhibits are well done and the facility spreads out the fun things so people can enjoy them. The sharks are not overwhelmingly impressive, but the variety and expansiveness of the faculty now than make up for it. The food, however, is disappointing.

Cool when there's no field trip groups running around disregarding personal space

Very nice aquarium. When we visited there were a bit too many kids running and screaming but i guess that's part of the point... I really liked the focus on conservation.
