Cool swimming pool. You can go here with the whole family. Affordable prices, good instructors. Which will help not only teach you to swim with different styles, but also teach safe behavior on the water. There is a shop where you can buy goods to visit the pool.

This place is absolutely disgusting they ruin our day we are so unhappy would never go there again the reason for that was uneducated staff who s got no idea other than telling visitors off
Under term of safety when they get asked to clarify the reason easily saying they don t do the rules
The rules that change from time to time and people to another and the only thing they are good at is the word sorry
But the reality who Cares

I paused my membership for 6 months until 31st October 2020 because of Covid 19. At the time I paused the membership, money was still being deducted from my account. I was told at that time that it couldn't be refunded, but that payments would be stalled for 2 weeks upon returning to active use of the facility. I returned to the pool on I think Thursday 5th November, and a payment was promptly taken out from my bank on the 10th. Its a minor issue, but an issue nonetheless. I do enjoy the facilities, but I'm disappointed as I've had similar issues with payments from the previous administrators over the several years that I've held a membership there.

Still a great place to have a swim even though there are limited areas to really swim now especially on a Sunday. However due to rude customer service from Ali at the service Desk, I have only given 3 stars. Customer service goes a long way.

Lots of room and a good aircon
Old equipment, low motivation environment, rubbish staff, filthy amenities.
Not worth the money.

My 1yr old recently started a swim class here.
The staff are very friendly & accommodating and the sessions are a mix of safety and fun stuff.
Didnt seem like change rooms are cleaned very much considering Covid. They're not dirty as such but several people using same showers etc. and for us, same baby change table.
Also would be nice if lockers were back in use.

Hopefully the staff are better with teaching people to swim than their customer service.
We had swimming lessons for my son beginning of the year which was great he loved it. My wife took him whilst pregnant to a point she became more heavily pregnant and we had to stop. Obviously a pregnant woman is easy to see and we were able to cancel..
But what we werent told was we had to fill out a document to state that and payments were continuously taken from our bank account.
We've tried making contact of late to see what can be done only to receive rude and unprofessional service from the other end.
I think some retraining is required for the staff there. Inform people documents are required to be filled out to cancel and not let people know that they can just cancel.

Swimming instructors were awesome as were all the YMCA staff. Was a long time member for my child's swimming lessons but when it changed management they insisted I could only pay by direct debit. I had always paid in advance for the lessons by cash and it wasn't ever a problem. They wouldn't even let me pay by pay wave, despite them still accepting cash for walk ins and the cafeteria. Will never go back there again.

Love it here, visit frequently with 6 yr old son who regularly has a great time, good facilities, responsible lifeguards, reasonable entry fee, good opening hours. Nice place to spend a couple of hours at.

I like the fact that there are family shower areas, so our little family can all get organized in one room. There are seats available beside the pool to put your bags, etc. Staff are strict with taking photos to respect other people's privacy.

My daughter has been doing swimming lessons since she was 6mths old. She is now in the Octopus lvl swimming full laps of the pool.

The YMCA teachers and staff are amazing. They know exactly how to teach children to swim and have fun.

Prices are great. The environment is engaging and fun. People of all ages love the Elizabeth Aquadome.

Generally a good facility but not enough thought given to disability access. The current access is regularly blocked off for classes making it awkward and dangerous to reach a lane with some space for safe stretching and swimming. Then you have to battle the barriers again to get out of the pool. Only single exit for disabled.
This has been raised with staff many times to no avail. Run classes for the able bodied on the other side of the pool and consider the injured and disabled please.

The YMCA swimming instructors have been great with my two children, they have learn't much more in a short period of time than the other swimming club we went to. A number of occasions there have been two instructors in one class which gives more one on one time with the children.

Overall, a well setup and functional gym and aquatic center. The place was clean.

The interpretation of entrance pricing and swim rules was entirely arbitrary. I normally live in the U.S. so I don't have any local aged person documentation other than a licence The first day this was sufficient but the second day I was charged full adult rates. ($13.60 vs. $17.00). Hardly bankrupting but odd/inconsistent.

The first day we were there we were tasked by the lifeguard about using the spa without having a wrist band to identify that we had paid a premium for this purpose but were never told on admission that it was a separately charged product - $4.00. My son-in-law is a member and he wasn't aware of the wrist band requirement.

The first day I started my swim with a racing start from the flat area between 2 starting blocks under full view of a lifeguard without problem, but the second day was chastised by a different lifeguard for diving. I understand the restrictions on deep diving but both starts were the same and barely broke the surface of water that was 1.8 m deep.

I'd go back but would be intrigued to see which variations of rules would be applied next time.

The worst swimming center in Adelaide only ever 2 ...

The worst swimming center in Adelaide only ever 2 lanes for the public so the slow lane is full of medium level swimmers and the medium lane is full of fast swimmers. No fast lane .sometimes 12 people in one lane nobody gets a good swim .They only care about the swimming clubs that get 4 lanes to themselves and the other lanes for walking. The staff are useless don't use the pool space well close off half the pool so just at the top end a fue kids can play while the rest of us are like beans in a can .I was told that the pool is not making enough money which you can tell because they pack as many classes that is humanly possible at one time and by 4 in the afternoon the water looks like milk disgusting..very bad management it's a mess

I was not actually at the aquadome, but across the road having a covid 19 test. The test was negative.
However the nurses and paramedics at the testing station noticed I was unwell and called an ambulance. After a few test I was found to have arterial tribulation and required a cardioversion with TOE.
Bottom line the LMHS has the BEST staff.

Been a member since a week after bluefit took over last year. Some good improvements have been made and I enjoyed using all facilities , but since COVID restrictions have been in place, I feel the swimming pools have been poorly managed. The gym is great, but as a lap swimmer, I have found it to be completely inadequate when compared to earlier. Restricted hours and very little thought or planning for us lap swimmers... disappointed, so have cancelled my membership and have found another pool further away, but much more proactive.
