There is no way the 5 star reviews about this place are real! You can look up how awful this place is on many social media outlets. Do not waste your time. One of the worst experiences I ever had and I make sure to tell everyone how unpleasant it was.

Very nice customer service, they were completely familiar with our needs for our school graduation. They made us feel comfortable and gave us individual attention. We got something we liked on our first visit.

I had the worst experience with this establishment I would never shop there againThe owner is dishonest and A crook. I went to her store with my daughter to shop for prom dresses first of all the store is way too small and overcrowded. My daughter tried on several dresses definitely overpriced but found a dress that seemed appealing to her she was a little appapprehensive about the color choices and they didn't have any other color for her to see just the one that she tried on which was not the color she liked however the store clerk was very persuasive and convincing her that she should put a deposit on the dress to ensure no one else got the dress and she could decide on the color after going home and thinking about it.never once telling me that it was a nonrefundable deposit nor does there have any signs in the store that say nonrefundable deposit. Long story short I try to call them the next day to tell them the never mind she's just too uncertain about the dress and the color that I would like for her to credit my credit card and we will continue to look for another dress. At that point they tell me the deposit is nonrefundable and my only choice is to buy a another dress from them. I am so livid it we could not find another dress that my daughter liked or that I could afford this place is overpriced and not worth the money I do not recommend anyone shopping or buying from the store terrible customer service and awful policies not to mention they like to pick and choose went to enforced this policy. As I was made aware another little girl and my daughter school was refunded for a dress ordered what's the most appalling about the story is there was never a dress ordered because there was never a color selected but yet this woman gets to keep $300 of my money what thievery! This woman should be ashamed of herself. There's any justice in this world this woman will go out of business!
I have had numerous experiences shopping at Apropos, both when they were out in Amsterdam and now that they are in their new location. They have ALWAYS demonstrated the utmost professionalism. They offer a tremendous number of styles; their prices are fair and reasonable; their alterations are beyond compare and free when you purchase your dress there, which easily makes them the best value in the area; and they work hard to ensure excellent customer service. They also dye shoes for free not only when you purchase them but will dye them black after your event so you can wear them again. The staff is knowledgeable, honest, and caring. I have and will continue to recommend Apropos to all my friends and family.
I got my dress at Apropos and they were very attentive and nice. They have so many dresses to choose from and made sure I had the perfect one. I recommend them because they made my experience so pleasant and easy!
found the perfect dress but could not afford it and called to cancel it and they gave me attitude and wouldn't give me my money back. The lady on the phone was incredibly rude.
The one star was for the one young lady that put some dresses in a dressing room for my 4 bridesmaids I was shopping with. The only one who wasn't rude from the second we walked through the door. We had an appointment and was not helped More
Apropos helped me find a beautiful dress for The American Dream pageant in the Bahamas. It was quite a challenge because the dress had to be extremely unique and with a little something extra to wow the judges in one of the most beautiful places on Earth. They helped me find the perfect dress, and I can t wait to get to the pageant.
I am thrilled with the service Sindi gave to me and my daughter when we shopped for her prom dress. We were having trouble finding a dress that my daughter thought she looked good in and Sindi took one look at my daughter and brought over the perfect dress for her! I had the best experience here buying my wedding dress! I only had 4 months before my wedding when I went in, and they were able to present many beautiful options that I could buy off the rack. They carry all of the most popular dress brands; mine was Allure, but I was also able to try on Mori Lee dresses. I found the perfect dress. Alterations were done through the store and they were done well and completed on time. So happy with how everything turned out. I highly recommend shopping at Apropos for your wedding dress.
