This company DOES NOT KNOW REAL ESTATE! They appraised my home at a much lower value than it is truly worth, which will cost me more money in financing... To come up with a value of my 2011 home, they compared it to 5 recently sold homes that were all built in the 80's (30 years older than my house)... with inferior construction techniques.. and because Florida construction codes were upgraded in 2002 my home was built to withstand 175 mph hurricane force winds... but this appraiser never knew this or never considered this... STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY

This company is disgusting. I'm a real estate appraiser and this company routinely sends me appraisal requests for properties outside my service area, in areas where I am not even licensed that are 100's to more than 1,000 miles from my location. That is how much they care about handling your business in a professional manner and they do the same thing over and over. Their goal appears to be to get any appraiser anywhere to complete reports for cut rate fees so they can make the most money off the transaction. They appear to have no interest in obtaining a competently prepared report. If the borrower, property seller, or realtor are harmed in the process, appears to be of no concern to them.

This company needs to be put permanently OUT OF BUSINESS. They were well aware of our appraisal contingency deadline and became completely unresponsive the week leading up to the deadline. Please read all of the reviews. It appears that they are an appraisal broker and not an actual appraisal company. They take your money and farm out the appraisal work to underpaid mediocre appraisers all over the country often times assigning an appraisal to an appriser who lives hundreds of miles away from the actual property needing to be appraised. Run far far away from this company.

My first experience wasn't the best, however I decided to give them a second chance. They have been great so far... it seems like the team I am working with this time is way more customer service oriented.

My lender forced me to use this place. I paid 700 bucks for an appraisal, which is almost 300 more than any other place in my area. They never called me in 2 weeks to schedule. I requested a refund, and they kept $75 of my money for absolutely no reason. AVOID THIS COMPANY. And good luck ever talking to anyone there. No matter what time you call, you get placed on hold for 45 minutes, and a voice-mail to leave a message , and no one ever calls you back.

If you have the option, DO NOT use Appraisal Nation. Their appraiser made false promises and accusations that he was unable to perform the job because he couldn't gain access to the property. He "inspected" on October 21st and had a date of submission by November 8th. First, way too long for an appraisal as it should be a 10 day turnaround. Second, he never turned in the appraisal and blamed an exposure to COVID for not being able to do the job. HORRIBLE SERVICE! Do not use this company if you can avoid it. NEVER AGAIN!

This place is an absolute joke. It is a mystery how they are still in business. I am a loan processor and deal with ordering appraisals everyday and this is the only company that refuses to help their costumers in any way. It is a constant battle to just get a call back or email from them and when they do respond its to tell you they have no update on any of your orders and they will call back by the EOD with an update. Surprise that update never comes unless you call about 5-10 times a day and talk to 10 different people. This company has cost me, my firm and the borrower many deals and out of pocket money because they make promises to be quicker either in processing or finding quotes as long as you give them more money and of course there is no follow through. Once it took 5 weeks to get an as-is appraisal on an SFR with a rush fee attached. The borrower was so fed up and had to get 2 extensions on the purchase contract he said forget it and tried to get a refund. Within 10 minutes of him requesting a refund directly from them they sent us the report and responded the next day saying the report was already delivered. Again this company is a joke. If you enjoy being ignored, wasting time and spending too money for no results then this is definitely the place for you. If there was a 0 stars options I would say that is too good for this place

We paid extra for an expedited appraisal and were told the report would be completed by September 24th. They are now saying they cannot do the appraisal until October 4th which is 24+ days. The seller is not willing to wait so now are not only losing out on the property, but the deposit we placed and the fee for the expedited appraisal service. We highly discourage anyone from using this company.

Horrible, HORRIBLE COMPANY!
I'm a loan officer and I work with many appraisal companies. This one is truly the cream of the crop, make you wonder how it is POSSIBLE to run a business so horribly. Not only they send out appraisers extremely slowly, the appraisers take an incredibly long amount of time to complete appraisal reports, this company is also not communicative & nonresponsive. You have to CALL them CONSTANTLY to have a real sense of the status of your appraisal. Appraisals are frequently delayed WITHOUT any notification and explanation. They don't care if you have to delay a client's closing due to late appraisal reports as long as they have your money in their pocket. They even attempted to collect the rush fee TWICE to get us the appraisal report in 9 business days! That's slower than some company's regular speed! We are removing them from our appraiser's list permanently.

Horrific. The worst AMC out there. Almost every order we place is late. Almost no responsiveness, no call backs, rude associates. The latest is we paid EXTRA for a rushed appraisal, and a buyer who is going to lose a house because we are 2 weeks late on a rushed appraisal. They've done no work trying to help get it- we've done their job. A regular occurrence. I cannot wait to fire them.
