I tried to like this church, I really did. It seems something is missing and if I had to put a name to it, it would be "heart" and love. Every so often the pastor and his son hold a Q and A session for the Sunday service instead of having a sermon. (More appropriate for a weekday meeting.) One of these QA sessions, Dennis announced that he was handing the church over to Millennials in 5 years (about 1 year ago he said this) because he didn't want the church to become a "Gray-haired" congregation. OH, so I guess only Millennials count? As being close to retirement age myself, it felt like a slap in the face. I tried going there a few more times, but eventually stopped. There are better churches in the area.

I attend off and on, and am amazed at the music and visual display, but feel something is missing.... then I attended on 2/10 and listened to first of 5 lectures about the future of the church, reaching out globally... #1 was a history lesson of religious impact over centuries, which I didn t find very relevant... then I read obituary in today s paper and saw a 48 year old member of AAC passed unexpectedly 3 days ago... obit said his faith in Jesus was very important to him and he attended Monday Men s group regular, so he must have been a well known member of church... yet no mention of this mans passing... that s what is missing, the personal connection instead of a focus on global teachings and ambition...lower your sights so you don t miss what s right in front of us

Grew up going to this church and it s been amazing to see how it s grown up with me. They truly are a family of people that care about enriching the community and people in it. Pastor Episcopo is also my favorite pastor I have ever come across. He is a phenomenal speaker. If you are new to the area and looking for a good church to go to, I recommend this one.

Pastor Dennis is not a boring old man, he tells jokes, stories and shares personal antidotes that are humorous BUT he does still get out the message that JESUS is the KING. He talks about his Catholic upbringing and how now he knows you can't earn your way to heaven with deeds ... the only way in is by believing that Jesus died for your sins and accepting HIM as your personal savior. His son Brian is also a pastor and I enjoy his sermons too.

I go here about once a month (not so much anymore) and nearly everytime the sermons are bragging about how much money the church is making rather than spiritual and the Bible. It is a so-called conservative church and that is bragged about way too much too. I went to Bible study where they were asking me to sign a petition in supporting Scott Walker. Also many bumper stickers in parking lot with proRepublican connotation. Derogatory messages about everyone else. I'm like wow and how idol worship is taking over not only here but across the nation.

A great place for worship. Even though this church is one of the largest it still has a great family atmosphere. Sermons are spot on and broken down to an everyday level. The 8am and 11am is less packed if you don't want super crowded.

This is one of the best churches I've ever been to, it's big enough to be able to do all kinds of things but it's small enough to still have that little community church feel. Pastor Denis is awesome and the children's ministry is next to none. AAC has the absolute best children's ministry of any church I have ever been to or heard about. If you're on the fence about coming here just come once and see it for yourself.

Appleton alliance has some of the best people I know working there. Chera is amazing and has taken the time to personally visit our home.
The love of God shines through the people who work here.
It's not just a job for them . It's a family doing Gods work

you know, they've got everything. They're a huge place,They've even got a restaurant inside. However I was offended by the server's tee shirt, which said "School of Wizardry and witchcraft'". That doesn't belong in a church!!!

Streets of Bethlehem is an amazing production. One feels like they have stepped back in time and you're standing in all of the action. They had living animals, and actors act and talk as if it was real. Everyone was friendly and eager to assist with any question or need. Admission is free, well worth the visit.

Attended since it was on Durkee Street and the to the new building and various additions to the mega campus. There emphasis is on the 30's and 40's with little concern for those 50 and over, even though that age group were the ones were the major contributors; homes paid for, cars paid for, kids out of college! The new sanctuary sound system made the music way above OSHA standards; church alerted and response was 'it is not over the 30 minute limit'. Finally so unpleasant, even with ear plugs and with the recommendation of an audiologist, we chose to leave. Preaching was always good, people were friendly, not always sure that donations were used in the best manner. I agree with other posters that learning who has passed, who needs prayer or who needs help is not available. The only way to be connected is to belong to a mini-church.

I'm a big crowd loud music kind of person. This is definitely my kind of church. For someone who doesn't know anything about the Bible, they really know how to break it down for ya and explain every detail. Even to the meaning of many words in the bible

I'll admit, I was hesitant about going to a "mega" church when I first moved up to Appleton. But I went for a few Sunday's in a row, and I can assure you that AAC is not big because they preach a prosperity gospel. Pastor Denis shoots it straight, and doesn't sugar coat anything. I leave every Sunday feeling challenged and refreshed. It also helps if you can find someplace to volunteer. This will help you get to know people, and the church starts to feel quite a bit smaller once you know some people who go there. Definitely worth checking out!

Been going here for 8 years, love pastor Episcapo and all the pastoral staff. The teaching is very biblical. Discoveryland is amazing for kids to learn about Jesus and let the parents have adult time to hear the good news as well. Beautiful campus, love the cafe with the great coffee and food. Mini churches, Women's studies, men's studies, young adults gathering nights, high school groups...so many ways to bring this large church down to a personal level.
