The location on 40 Hwy has bad food and poor service. We waited for 35-45 minutes to get our food. Then when it did come they had the host to bring it to our table. The food look like it had been sitting for awhile and was dyed out. The waiter came back to our table once the whole hour n a half that we we're there. I talked to the manager and he offered another meal. Well we didn't want wait another 30 minutes or so to get another meal. He gave us $7 off our ticket. Which was not anything. The experience was really bad and I still left out hungry.

Had a nacho pleasant experience, called corporate customer service, they handled it promptly and efficiently.

not good. I keep thinking they will get better. wrong. Got the $9 special steak. rubbery and big gristle running through it. Baked potato was more like boiled and had a funny taste. Good service except...... Asked for 1.29 dessert and was shown the menu. I picked the blond brownie and WAS NOT told this was 5.99. I paid my 23 bill but thought about later and realized I was overcharged. Called this AM, talked to manager and he is giving me a $15 credit the next time I go in..... but not ever going there again.

I ordered loaded baked potato soup as my meal. It wasn't even passable as potato broth. They must of used 2 potatoes for a 8 quart kettle of soup. The bacon, little bit of onion and one small bit of cheese sunk to the bottom. There was nothing to stir up. No crackers either. I should of sent it back but I didn't. BEWARE!!!!!!!

To the manager of Applebee's in Ada, Oklahoma... I was so disappointed this evening. Called 2 days in advance to make arrangements for a party of 12. Called 40 minutes in advance as I was leaving my house. Took special effort to explain that 2 members of our party were elderly. Get there and no table. Wait for almost an HOUR and no table!! Told they MIGHT be able to find one in another half hour. VERY POOR customer service! FYI the 87 year old gentleman you left standing at the door is a WWII and Korean war vet who was trying to take his wife along with his children,grandchildren and great grandchildren out to celebrate her 85th Birthday. NICE JOB!! We will be taking our business to Rib Crib from now on. They put out the effort to save the evening and honor a Vet.

The people made me feel really uncomfortable I think they're very very very nasty acting....

This is my experience from the 40Hwy and Sterling Ave:
Went there two weeks in a row at 11:30pm Friday night, with just another friend and myself. The doors were locked each time and was told they close their kitchen and bar 30 minutes before close, even though their hours advertise 12am. Ridiculous. I filed a complaint with corporate, no one called me or reached out to me in any way. Very disappointed to say the least, since I ve been a consistent customer of this particular Applebee s since they built it over 10 years ago.

WENT TO 95 ST IN OVERLAND PARK & SAT IN BOOTH, I'M HANDICAPPED WALK W CANE. & LADY CAME UP THOUGHT SHE WAS GOING TO ASK WHAT I NEEDED. SHE TOLD ME IF I'M BY MYSELF I HAVE TO TRY & CLIMB IN HIGH CHAIR & SET AT YOUR BAR. THEY WERE NOT BUSY.NO THK U I'M HANDICAPPED, SO I LEFT SAID, THAT'S NOT A WAY TO TREAT A LOYAL CLIENT. BROUGHT 8 PEOPLE THERE FOR CHRISTMAS DINNER. MY GROUP OR I HAVE NOT BEEN BACK.& @ ANOTHER LOCATION WENT IN FOR LUNCH WAITED FOR 5-7 MIN. ONLY COUPLE PEOPLE THERE & NOONE CAME TO MY TABLE. I'M A BUSINESS OWNER ALWAY GIVE A TIP FOR COURTEOUS & GOOD SERVICE. BUT NO MORE. WHO TRAINS YOUR PERSNAL?

We had to ask for a waitress after being seated for more than 10 minutes. Disappointed the side dishes for your meals are an upcharge, your prices are not cheap enough for upcharges.

Applebee's is gone, New Directions sold, sad building now with a sad future for the companies contained within it's walls.

We have been several times and end of February I went during my lunch break .I ordered the Chicken Penne my first bite was the worst experience I have ever had at any restaurant ever. On the right side of my tongue it got pierced by a thick glass and was hard and veryful to pull that glass out. .My tongue bled so bad I had to leave back to work with am empty stomach and non stop bleeding was so hard for me to talk . So the manager comes and offers to pay my balance and hands me a freaking $10 free meals card.
Umm really like that makes up for what happened . The manager then turns around and says they don't have any glass in the restaurant. BS.
The bar serves drinks with glass cups for margaritas, mixed drinks,etc.. I have tried contact them email and all of the above and have not heard from anyone . Not good customer service . !!!!! Location is Richardson TX off Beltline and Plano Rd
