Had a very nice afternoon in Apenheul!
The pandemic is well taken into account, for example, there are indicated routes and when feeding gorrillas, PVC pipes of 1.5 meters are used to keep a distance from each other. Colleagues there visibly work well with each other and maintain mutual contact. It was an entertaining day and it took us at least 3 hours to get through the park!

Had a super day trip in Apenheul. A lot of monkeys and we had the feeling that the monkeys got quite a lot of space and came to make contact with their visitors. The monkeys are coming very close and we continued to be surprised at how cool these animals are.

Geweldige specialistische dierentuin.

Unfortunately, an orang utan died this day. Furthermore, we enjoyed this day very much. Nice pictures and a lot of monkeys on the neck. Food is expensive and dirty, but that is usually the case with an amusement park. Next year we will go again !!

The commercials on television show the apenheul as it should be. Due to the corona measures, a visit I looked different and that was disappointing. We had been looking forward to the freeing of monkeys. The few who were loose sat high in a tree. I understand the necessary measure, but then also adjust the advertisements that are shown on children's channels ...

A nice park, but unfortunately we arrived a bit late. As a result, we could not see everything and part of the catering industry was already closed (the coffee tent could have been open a little longer). By the way, the park does give a discount if you arrive late.

Great animals / monkeys park. Nice experience to be able to make the monkeys so close.
A lot of explanation during the feeding time at the many different stays.
Easily accessible. Also for disabled people.

Far too busy and far too little done to keep the 1.5 meter feasible. Reserved with a time slot and still have to stand in line for 20 minutes. Inside much too busy so quickly left. Not corona proof at all.

The parc is very nice, clean and well maintaned. Staff is kinda friendly, i think they were just stressed out. What really disapoints are the prices. Entrance price is very high at 22euros for about 3hours of fun. Worst thing is the food, extremely expensive, at 3,50 for some fries. Then you wait for 15minutes till your order is ready, and you can enjoy your cold fries. All in all a nice park, defenitly something different but waaay to expensive for the service.

Very beautiful, lovingly designed monkey park with nearly thirty different monkey species. Very nature-oriented attitude, heavenly conditions for animals in an animal park. If you keep your eyes open, you can easily observe most monkeys.

I go to a lot of zoos, and I think this has by far the best primate enclosures I've seen. The animals have so much space and are clearly well cared for. There's a huge amount to see, with the orangutans being a personal favourite. Worth the entry cost. Tip: much better on a sunny day as the animals will be free roaming.

Large and well cared for. Other parks or zoos prohibit you from carrying bags or backpacks, but here you have a practical solution, free monkey-safe rental bags are issued. Brilliant! In the park itself there are defined facilities where you can bring your own food or buy food. Very nice!

As real animal connoisseurs we all found it very disappointing! compared to the German zoos that also have several monkeys. The only monkeys that you can really see in the monkey ape are the squirrel monkeys, the rest are all far too far away and not much fun for the little ones. Also the entrance is way too expensive for what you get! most German parks, including rheine, don't even cost half the price and you don't pay parking fees and you can see all the monkeys up close, even with the larger species you can just in and stroke! Also the food here is many, many times better! If you really want to do something fun and want to be much cheaper, go over the border!

Very nice and well-kept park, where monkeys roam freely in certain places. There are enough supervisors everywhere to properly check everything. It is also indicated when which monkeys are fed, it is nice to see them busy, especially the gorillas. Also very nice playgrounds, all made of wood. Plus was that at the last food stall there were also vegan / soy ice creams!

Not your average zoo. It's great to walk among the monkeys! Fun for kids, with lots of playgrounds and also educational fun.
The adventure search bag we bought for our kids, wasn't really worth it: 5 for a backpack and a hat, although the paper binoculars where an asset, they were broken by the end of the day (kids are 5 and 6).
We went during Covid, so some things were closed or certain monkeys weren't allowed to run free, because they are themselves vulnerable for the virus. You could order food and drinks online and then collect them after a notification. Great experience, we will go back to see more monkeys when the Covid restrictions are over.

Fantastic trip with children. Enough to see and learn for a whole day. Monkeys walk loose in different parts of the park. 10 years ago for the last time. Very beautiful. If the terraces are better separated and respected by smokers, the park is worth 5 stars.

Really great! Super beautiful park with great enclosures! The animals seem to be doing well. We were there on Saturdays, right at ten o'clock. Since it was very empty and you could look at the animal in peace. Later it was clearly fuller and much louder, which also acknowledged the animals with significantly less presence. We did not buy online the tickets online, as they were 8 cheaper than at the cashier.

Nice place. Easy to entertain 6 hours with children. Placement can be better, everything else is very neat and clear. Nice programs and although there are almost only monkeys, it is still very interesting. Enough eatery. Good clean toilets. Well accessible for wheelchairs. Helpful staff. Tip, take early bird discount and do this online. At the moment, that saves 4 euros per person.
