Antebellum Restaurant Review

OMG. This place is an AMAZING find in the small, sleepy town of Flowery Branch. This is gourmet, casual dining at it finest! It is not cheap, but it is truly artisticly created and DELICIOUS food! Their bar is also fabulous! They have some very unique drink specialties that you will not have anywhere else, in fact you will not have food like this anywhere else! The service is also impeccable! Quick, friendly, knowledgeable servers who deserve every extra cent you can tip them. There is absolutely nothing negative to say about this place! It is inside what was once a 100-year-old house that has been converted to a restaurant. The restaurant grows its own herbs out front, you will pass the garden as you walk up to the wraparound porch. There is seating on the porch for warmer nights. I would challenge Gordon Ramsey to find anything to complain about at this place. If you can afford it, try everything! You won't be disappointed!

One of our favorite restaurants. The food is consistently great! We love the fried green tomatoes and the salmon entree. Definitely worth the drive!

Long wait for entrees to come out, then when it finally did, my halibut was overcooked & dry. Wife's steak was chewy & nothing special for price paid. We have had several good experiences in past, but this missed the mark.

We love Antebellum. The food and service are awesome, Tom plays the guitar and creates a very nice atmosphere! You cannot go wrong with anything you order as it is all delicious.

The staff of the shop was kind.

Much ado about nothing. Fried tomatoes were undercooked and tough, fish over cooked and shrimp dish poorly seasoned. Desserts were great. Better to come for tea. Service good, but couldn t make up for poorly prepared and over priced food.

Wonderful atmosphere and incredible attention to detail. When we told the staff we were there for an anniversary, they brought glasses of champagne for a toast! Unique dishes, clean flavors, and amazing produce will certainly make a visit here one to remember.

I have been here a few times and absolutely love it. The food is great, the music is nice, and the service is really good. Just make sure to get a reservation if you're coming on a weeknight! They are super friendly and accommodating, but call ahead and reserve a table for sure!
