It was our third visit, but we enjoyed the most relaxing and delicious beer. It would have been painful if I couldn't sit down, but it was late and it was a weekday night, so I was able to relax. I want to go again.

Rude staff. Beer was drinkable but when they yell at a birthday boy for cheering his horse on the grand national (streamed on a phone) you just feel like there's a real lack of personality and humour.
Best times to come are Friday evening and Sunday day, when the crowds aren't so busy (though Saturday is always a good laugh!). Amazing selection of beers that are constantly changing, though there is a selection of core beers available. Mister Anspach and Mister Hobday are often around and are filled to the brim with beer know-how. They don't serve food but you are welcome, often encouraged, to bring food from the locals markets (druid street and maltby street). An amazing addition to the local area.
My favourite beer. These are varied, deep flavoured beers. There is a limited selection - smoky, dark and strong or light and floral are your options, but you'll love at least one if you're a beer enthusiast. I like the IPA or IPAasion or whatever it was called. It was light and refreshing, perfect for summer.
They currently only open on Saturday during the daytime because they are still so small, and are too popular now for their capacity - if you don't show up early, expect to be standing out in the street or sitting on the curb as my friends and I were.
It's worth it though. The beer's that good. Just pick a warm day with no rain forecast.
This brewery has a good small taproom with bench seating, making it a good option for groups. The staff are really friendly and knowledgeable, and happy to let you taste before you buy!
There is a choice of their regular beers and special edition options, such as sour beers, flavoured porters and fruit beers - when we visited there was a chili porter, a raspberry beer and a sour ginger beer!
You can also buy bottles to take away there too. Great option for lazy Sunday afternoon drinks with friends!
Highly innovative and creative brewers that leave no stone unturned in their quest for the perfect beverage. Their passion for their craft is obvious with the quality and care put into each and every product
A great place for a weekend beer. This Brewery/Taproom is just around the corner from the Maltby St Markets, so is perfect for a pre or post market drink. They have a nice taproom in front part of all the brewery, pouring a constantly changing selection of their delicious beers. Keep and eye out for their seasonal beers or go for their award winning stouts and porters.
Second stop on our brewery crawl. Really great selection of beers with some unique experimental choices. Sea Salt and Chili Stout was a great recommendation. Taproom is really small unfortunately
Alright, hot on a sunny day inside. We were told to stand inside as it was supposedly too busy outside. Found the bouncer quite abrupt and rude. There was clearly a lot less space inside than out. For this reason i give a lower star. Basically forced into a sweat box to drink beer.
5 stars for beers! But 1 star for hilariously wobbley fold up tables and benches. You walk down the side of London Bridge on Tooley street and follow the train line westwards. There are a number of tap rooms down here so can easily make a craft ale pub crawl. The beers are interesting here. Suggest you get a 8 quid plank of halves to taste them all. Pints about a fiver but you can get 2/3rds and halves. You are sat in the brewery next to the beer you are drinking. A real ale purist vision. Loved it.
Of all the beers and breweries in this area, I think Anspach and Hobday's sour dry hop is one of the tastiest offerings. They do other stuff as well, but I always come back for the SDH!
Have walked past this taproom many times on the CRUK Shine Night Walk so was excited to finally pay it a visit for a drink! Great selection of ales, friendly knowledgeable staff, good atmosphere inside the small taproom, would definitely recommend it as a stop for anyone on the Bermondsey Beer Mile.
Spectacular! Our 3rd stop of the day of local brews. I would have to say excellent service and EXCELLENT BEER! Beer geeks for life! Had the porter and the English IPA. Both very good. It was grand opening night. Wish them the best of luck.
Great little brewery on the "beer mile" with some very nice craft brews on tap. Staff were friendly and location is in a great spot among the emerging brewery mile in Bermondsey. Definitely a fan!
