This is easy, so what I want to say is the most basic of hotels. The room for 2 people is horribly small, they call this a triple room but there is only one fold up bed here that removes the space to walk around. The view is rubbish, totally rude. I don't know if you get a better view of your room's higher, but you get the most out of nothing. I do not know how breakfast is yet, or whether I should have expected less since we are in Oslo. What I know for sure is that there are better hotels in the area.

Nice room, showers.

Nice room, showers.
We stayed in 2 different rooms about a week apart one on the second floor and one on the 8th floor. WiFi was TERRIBLE both days. Hardly worked from the lobby and didn't work at all from either of two rooms a week apart.

I recommend staying at the Anker 3 * hotel in Oslo. Located 1 km from the center station, about 2 mountain stops. transport (tram 17,12,13, bus 31) d To the central pedestrian street Karl Johan - 12 minutes. on foot, to the Town Hall and the port - 20 min. There are maps with detailed maps of the city in each hotel and in the tour information. There are many minibanks where you can cash out crowns ... for example, for payments in transport. But it's better to buy an Oslo card. Anker has recently undergone renovation, comfortable rooms, clean and new bedding, towels. Good plumbing and heated shower floors. Plasma in rooms and internet is free. Excellent breakfast with a good extensive menu for all tastes. On the 13th floor there is an observation deck at 270 degrees. From there you can see the whole city, Holmenkollen is visible.

OK.

OK.
The ventilation was a bit stingy.
Got a little hot in the room even though the radiator was turned off. Too much noise from the tram etc. to keep the window open..good sound insulation.
Breakfast was really good, especially the hot dishes had an unusually large selection.
Good views from the 11th floor.

Central, easy to find, right in the heart of everything, great service, nice and clean, nice and helpful staff! And for those who are a little familiar and see the charm of a walk or jog before bedtime around Akerselva, it is heeeelt perfect! And lovely breakfast even in these challenging times!

Location very good, about 10 minutes on foot from the main bus station in Oslo. Quick check-in, friendly service. However, the conditions in the room are modest. Pretty poor. It is true that it is clean and tidy, but the equipment is old, worn out, shattered. The big downside is the lack of kitchen equipment in the room. Kitchen utensils have to be rented from the reception for a paid deposit in cash under the pain of losing it if they are not returned within 3 hours. Accommodation conditions rather for young people, not for families with children. The memories of colonies or student dorms come back: D

Really great and very affordable hotel close to Oslo city centre. The hotel is clean, has a buffet breakfast, and the staff is very pleasant. The free WiFi is very good as well. Definitely coming back here next time I'm on Oslo

Really a extinguisher !!! We have parked in the next-door parking garage that is written with "Hotel ANKER" and are with the suitcases to check in (approx. 15-20 minutes). During this time, an employee of the Q PARK company stuck a parking ticket for the equivalent of 130 euros under the windshield wiper.
Later I was able to observe that these inspectors are effectively waiting for new arriving hotel guests and as soon as they check in they put traffic tickets on the cars !!!
I then reported the situation to the reception, whereupon I was told that the parking garage does not belong to the hotel (despite the parking hotel ANKER label), but the operator Q PARK will be informed of the case and I will take a photo of the parking ticket and the paid parking ticket should be sent to the hotel by email so that they can take care of it. Bla bla bla
Now three quarters of a year later I received a letter from Q PARK with an invoice that reads "LAST WARNING", etc, etc ...

Thank you Hotel ANKER-Staff for the competent help!

Their single room has a bit of narrow beds.
Apart from this, the rooms were about what you expected.

Wi-FI is under all criticism. It only works in the lobby.

Many good restaurants nearby.

Room was clean and tidy. Bed was comfortable. however the whole room was a bit outdated. No kettle and tea/coffee supplied. Bathroom was tiny, the shower area was very small. Wifi was super slow and inconsistent (dropping out a lot from our room on 4th floor). The buffet breakfast was very decent. Close proximity to city centre.

Its a hotel, biggest downfall the window didnt really open much and it was crazy warm that week.

Rooms are very basic but follows the price.

Breakfast was a redeeming quality, but is very busy when the hotel is full.

Very close but expensive parking.

Very helpful staff, breakfast buffet had a large selection and quite good, room was quiet, nice and tidy, except a rather dusty top shelf in the wardrobe :) but that's a small detail comparing to the good overall experience. Good location: right on a bent of a river, lovely area for a walk or morning jog :)

The hotel is a big one of its kind with many rooms. We have a right small room inhabited, which is sufficient for 2 men. The breakfast buffet was always rich, but the choice a bit limited. The hotel is fairly central, so you can walk to the center and explore, except for the fact that you have to pass 2 streets that are covered with drug junkies and homeless. A woman should not necessarily be without an attachment. Always had a very queasy feeling in the streets.

Nice location and comfortable beds. Kitchens and bathrooms being inside the rooms were a big downside for me. Also a lot of leakage from the bathroom. Most of the staff didn't seemed very interested in being there, unhelpful and unhappy. Not much of a hostel vibe -- you even have to pay for your linens!

Excellent base to view the center. Pay attention to parking: the associated garage is not from Anker Hotel, but from the municipality. Pay on time via a parking machine in a parking garage or just in front of the hotel. A lot is being checked.

The room was not the most spacious and yet functional. Excellent bed. At the cleanliness there is nothing to complain about. Very central. Unfortunately, the breakfast room is more like a canteen. Bad light and uncomfortable. Since everything is in one corner of the room, it dams up quite often. The offer leaves no wish unfulfilled.
Even if overall a slight need for a refreshing renovation arises, here you get a good price-performance ratio.

Is really quite happy here. Got room on the 10th floor which is wise when the tram passes several times an hour and lots of car and people. Fit large rooms that have what we needed. Was there with her boyfriend to be at Lindsey Stirling concert. The TV was poor quality and had TV2 Nyhetskanalen, but not regular TV2. The breakfast was pretty good, no bacon there but they had alot of good things with fresh bread ^^ Cozy staff and pleasant.

It's alright for me. The location is ok, breakfast in the most desirable but parking spaces for such a great hotel very little and paid 24/7 A bit overkill ... because they are not cheap ... skipping the parking ... it's fine clean tidy to recommend.

The environment and location are OK, that is, the network is not good, although there is wifi, but it has not been connected, even if it is connected, it is slow! If you can't stand the network for a few hours at night, then this is not for you.

Probably about 2/3 star max, but kinda felt the hotel needs renovation as it looked dated. Staff are friendly and attentive. Rooms are decent with satellite channels and breakfast is standard fare. There is parking onsite and underground next door in q-park, 25 nok per hour or 260nok per 24 hour. Check in and out was really fast which was a plus

I booked online and received my room prior to check in time. (I arrived at 11am, check in typically is 15pm) The entire staff is so kind, helpful, happy and accomadating. They helped me navigate thru the city, answered any questions day or night, and were supreme with customer service. Their free breakfast is wonderful, great selection, and I highly recommend it.

OK Hotel with a hostel feeling (there's an Anker Hostel right next to it, too, this review is for the hotel. The rooms are spartan and the beds somewhat uncomfortable, but if you head south from it, along the water, there are a lot of bars and restaurants to visit.

The romms are like prison cells , small TV and the bed is to far away , really bad breakfast, worst than in Norwegian prison , the cleaning and the service in the hotel is terrible, I would prefer vandrarheim instead of this called hotel.
