I played the south course for the first time and the greens were in horrible shape. I loved the layout of the track, but the green conditions ruined it for me. For the amount of money it's not worth it.

South course is amazing and very challenging. However, they claim to be the best service in Canada, but I found the opposite. They were totally inattentive, the rental clubs were dirty, no towels available , available bottles water was not offered, and the car attendants ignored us. For an expensive course, you get the service of a public links.

We signed up our son for the private golf class. However, the instructor quitted on the 2nd session without notifying us until we tried to schedule for the next session. The instructor informed us that Angus Glen will contact us with the info for the new instructor. However, we heard nothing until the husband contacted them almost at the end of the season. So my son was disappointed with no golf lessons during this summer. We are so disappointed with the service at the price we paid for.

Fantastic course, brings novice players to their knees. Food is right in line for pricing. Drinks are not expensive. Great place to spend a day with your golf buddies and a challenge for a course.

Beautiful course I was fortunate to photograph at a charity function for Kerry's Place Autism Services in Aurora, I was lucky enough to play a few holes and definitely recommend this venue for their quality food and service

Went for a wedding reception in April, the grass was not in full bloom yet, but the inside golf club was very nice. Mackenzie room had a large projection display, a clean view for everyone. Staff was nice, the washrooms were clean , fresh and well maintained. The parking lot was little bit away (very little), there was a shuttle for those who need it, especially in winter. In summer it could be a nice walk.

Home of the Canadian Open and you will definitely see why. The clubhouse is top notch and the pro shop is partnered with Nike. The courses are wonderfully maintained and it's as beautiful a course as you would imagine. You can challenge yourself or take it easy depending on one of the 4 available tee boxes.

Service was terrible and condition of the course was extremely bad. For paying 125 a round I would expect the leaves on the green to be somewhat minimal, they were about an inch thick, could not even find my ball on the green. I emailed the general manager and did not even receive a response.

I had the pleasure of playing in a tournament on A...

I had the pleasure of playing in a tournament on Angus Glen's South Course, host of many corporate tournaments, including The Canadian Open, and more recently, the World Junior Girls Tournament. I also co-hosted a small golf tournament, two days prior. The weather, on both days, was a contrast of extremes.

On Sunday, the day of my tournament, it was a lot cooler than anticipated. A couple of days later, in the tournament I played in, the temperature was a record high for October 1st. We enjoyed the warmth and blue skies while playing but it poured shortly after! It POURED!

On both days, the (South) course conditions were excellent, probably a reflection of the recent World Junior Girls Tournament. Lucky for us! The greens and fairways were well manicured and the pace of play was good.

On Sunday, the staffing was very low, resulting in a few complaints from our players. The halfway house was closed and most of our players never saw the lone beverage cart making its rounds. Had they known, they probably would have had something from the Silo Grill prior to playing. The service, dinner after the round, and overall experience, mostly made up for it.

Tuesday's round started with a variety of breakfast options, with something for everybody. Each player also received a $100 gift card for use in the Pro Shop. Yay!

With this being a much larger tournament, using both courses, the staffing was a lot better. From dropping off my golf bag, registering, starting the tournament, and even finishing, it was a really good experience. The GPS screen on the golf carts kept us informed on course conditions and even some impending bad weather towards the end of our round.

There were food and beverage stations on the course, provided by sponsors, and the beverage carts were out making the rounds. Everything was complimentary! Yay!

Following the round, there was a reception and prizing in the Great Hall. There were several food stations, offering something for everybody. It was all good!

It was a very well organized and enjoyable event. Angus Glen was a great venue. The golf course, hospitality service, and all the staff really delivered!

Disclaimer: I worked at Angus Glen for ten years, ending over three years ago. I still have friends working there but this review is unbiased. Working and attending an event are two separate experiences. It was nice being a guest!

It was my first time playing here. For the $140 fee this was probably the worst "bang for my buck" that I have experienced. Course is not well maintained (both fairways and greens), poor signage throughout the grounds makes it hard to even find the entrance to the clubhouse in the morning, and the bathrooms in the main clubhouse aren't even open until 11am (have to go to the halfway house at 10th tee). I think they are living off of a past reputation because I can't see how you can charge over $100 to play a round here.

Beautiful venue and extremely efficient staff. We were guests as well photographers at an event there and the staff ensured we had an 8-person golf cart for our gear as we drove to take formal pictures.

Fantastic customer service here. Because they are a Nike sponsored pro shop, only Nike apparel can be purchased here. It's rather expensive as well. Also, they run a plethora of tournaments here with staff that does not know how to keep pace. I've had numerous 6 hour tournament rounds here.

If I can give them a 0, I would. Absolute worst experience ever. Went to angus Glen at 430pm for the light show and there was a line up of cars. No problem. We lined up for an hour and we were so excited. The guy at the front was talking to the other guy and wasn t paying attention and directed us to the left lane where there were no cars in front, then we thought it was weird so we pulled to the right lane with all the other cars cause we had no choice. They came and told us to go to the back of the line because we cut in line... what?!!!! We have been waiting for an hour already and are told to go all the way back of the line due to their incompetent staff. We just left and did not end up going to the light show. What a pity. They need better staff that don t just chat with each other and properly direct cars coming through especially when people waited an hour or more to see this.. I have a video of our car driving from the right lane towards the left lane at the entrance to show that we waited in line like everyone else..

Angus Glen has a great course. This time however the visit wasn't for golfing, but was for an outdoor wedding. I wasn't aware that they offered this service before now. Great time had by all.

I've had a great time at Angus Glen past 8 years (I keep returning!). I came from another club and found the staff and facility to be a welcoming, enjoyable atmosphere. Impressive Range. I play alot of 9 hole rounds as just not the time or capacity for the full tilt and the desk is very accommodating. It's a great spot for a round with friends, pop in for the lounge, etc.

What started as a great day ended in sheer disappo...

What started as a great day ended in sheer disappointment. Teed off on a quiet Wednesday afternoon on the south course.
The course was in good shape.

One problem, the greens were in horrible shape. I don't think I could be any more disappointed. The problem with the greens condition wasn't for just one green. That would be a one off. At least 12 of the holes greens were in bad shape.

The first sign of the greens being in trouble was the brutal practice putting green. Slope is listed as 143-134 but today they rolled under 100. So many inconsistent bounces, and rolls. Burnt spots, chunks missing on the green, dirt patches, ground under repairs, etc.

I had a friend play here in July and he had a similar experience with the greens. Needless to say, I didn't take his advice. I wish I was wrong, because hey it's Angus Glen. Shouldn't you expect the best when your paying top dollar? There was no transparency from the proshop when checking in on the conditions of the greens.

When your paying premium prices you expect a well manicured course. The greens were in such abysmal shape. I would not recommend playing at this club. I will not be returning to play at Angus Glen, nor do I recommend you play there.

It's a shame because Angus Glen has fallen off in the past few years. If you want to throw away money then play here but there are far superior courses within a reasonable distance at a similar price point. How far the mighty have fallen.

I don t have many chances to escape the office and go golfing with my manager but today all the stars aligned!

It s a small corporate golf event at this beautiful golf course and the day is shaping up to be a nice one; high of 25.

At this nice facility, we checked in and networked with other participants, enjoyed a BBQ lunch and listened to a keynote speaker before completing a 9-hole shotgun or Range Clinic option.

Please let s not focus on my score.
