Absolutely terrible service and quality. They sold me a faulty chain that broke after a month and then expected me to pay a $30 repair fee to cover their mistake. Not one in head office wants to resolve this issue either, which is a big mistake since their branding is clearly marked on the piece...I had an expensive pendant on that chain too! There are about 4 other jewellery stores within a 10m radius of Angus & Coote so I highly recommend visiting one of the other stores for better quality products and better customer service. Especially when purchasing meaningful gifts for loved ones.

I carelessly gave them my Tag watch to service and they ruined it. Polished it to hell and back when I did not ask for them to do so. Put the bracelet on backwards and the bezel has never sat properly since they touched it. Ruined my 3000 dollar watch basically. Avoid unless you hate yourself

Wanted to purchase an emerald ring with diamonds, and the lady insisted we pay $100 to resize the ring on top of the price. She then continued to try selling insurance to us which cover "ring cleaning". Certainly not happy with sales tactics to gouge money from customers, and attempts to force customers to pay for the resizing of jewelry which is part of the cost of running a jewelry store. Never going back to this circus.

The staff were extremely rude, especially when we ...

The staff were extremely rude, especially when we wanted to come back and try a different ring size as it was too loose. They said it was a perfect fit when it definitely wasn't. They go by a no refund policy so then we asked if we could exchange it for a bracelet and pay the remainding price. At this point they treated us like garbage, not even looking at me when asking for ID and my phone number. Telling us to come back tomorrow because they weren't bothered to do it for us. Horrible customer service, would go anywhere else but here.

Today I went to the CHATSWOOD WESTFIELD STORE- I went in to look and purchase an Engagement ring. 2 staff didn't even acknowledge me when I went in. Then someone else walked in and they said "Hi, wont be long". Didn't even lift their heads (did have 1 customer each) to say " I wont be long or even a smile at me" .
Wont be spending money in a shop with poor customer service and bascially rude staff. A smile or any form of acknowledgement goes a Longggg way in customer service. And especially someone wanting it to feel special it certainly did not!!!!
