Unmissable place
Exquisite cakes
Wow, this place is something else. Supper stunning inside. They are famous for their patisserie and hot chocolate, so make sure to try that. The hot chocolate are almost like a meal, they are large and supper thick and creamy.
Too bad there was not enough galette des rois at this time of year. I took a pistachio Mont-Blanc. Very good but sickening at the end
a must in Paris, an institution that deserves a detour. You have to try hot chocolate
I have never lined up to access their tea room, I go there for their delicious pastries and their hot chocolate that I take to take away before feasting in the Tuileries garden.
A real pleasure every time. Whatever pastry you choose, it's a marvel, an explosion of flavor with every bite. If you have the chance, go for it !!
A +++ for their Mont Blanc!
Hot chocolate "African", excel!
The beautiful scenery.
Delicious pastries.
The nice service.
Besides very nice atmosphere and delicious desserts.... breakfast and service do not correlate to the prices.
Hot chocolate months have a taste that does not distinguish either Mont Blanc candy is very very delicious
Very good hot chocolate. It is worth waiting a while to be seated.
Horrible experience, due to missing 15 m to close they did not want to serve us after standing 40 m in line to enter. It was alleged that they closed at 7 pm, so that African chocolate was not served only as a dessert.
Silly. Banal tastelessness. I had no problem paying about 40 euros for a normal breakfast in a nice atmosphere. But everything was "fake" at a depressing level. The muscular smile of the recipient. Then he tried to send me to the tightest, most cozy place. Then breakfast came. Nothing really. Bad bread and a little cheap supermarket goods. Only the hot chocolate was delicious.
Top notch service and exquisite deserts. Seriously, we had one of the friendliest interactions in all of Paris with our server here. Even though it is a popular and busy place we were seated quickly.
For over 30 years I've known Angelina and I still love their hot chocolate and pastries. Nothing has changed: the service is impeccable, the frame true to the name and everything is greedy.
Very much all is tasty and on a top level. The atmosphere is very French.
Over a century of tradition of the best hot chocolate in Paris!
It's very good, but crazy expensive and always with line on the door. It's worth it, but only if you arrive early.
Loved the hot chocolate, its thick smooth and delicious . Ravioli was great too. Check my hot chocolate video on Instagram @eatsleepsea
The Mont Blanc eaten at the main store was the best.
Pastry to avoid, settle for a hot chocolate which is excellent.
The hype is real. You won't be disappointed. From the architecture, to the decor, to the much talked about hot chocolate, Angelina is a really great place for any meal!
Just awesome
Trio of tomatoes and mozza di buffala, linguini with caviar, gazpacho, ravioli with truffles ...
I recommend the Babylon for dessert a marvel: D
The service was great for me!
To advice...
Disappointing service
The chocolate was good but nothing extraordinary
Allow more than 30min to return. The wait is in the cold (my girlfriend wanted to go in the winter).
It seems that pastries are good and cost around 6-7 . My local bakery makes excellent pastry at half price. I wonder about their margins ... The tourists are ready to pay anything.
In the end I stopped waiting and went back
Angelina was quite the experience. I felt like a royal with the elegant interior design and amazing service. I've only heard about Angelina and it was great to finally try the food. The overall experience was awesome!
Highly recommend the Chocolats Chaud, but it is extremely sweet and I recommend sharing with 2-4 people even if you have a super sweet tooth! The African Hot Chocolate was great to try, but I don't know if it's a drink I would get again. If you haven't tried it before, it's a definite must to try!
The Mont-Blanc and the Red Velvet Mont-Blanc where both amazing, but I favored the original taste and flavor much more. I haven't had an experience and feel like I did at Angelina, I can see why people love the ambiance and desserts here.
Good products, certainly, but the place lacks charm. Impersonal service.
Very Busy Branch, we had to wait 10 mints

In love with there French Toast
I liked the interior Desgin.

My first visit to Cafe Angelina and boy did it not disappoint! It is to this day, the best hot chocolate I have ever had in my life. The Mont Blanc is such an interesting creation that there is simply nothing I could compare it to. This is a MUST visit on any trip to Paris!
The original Mont Blanc shop, which was well known. The elegant interior decoration and the combination of various tourists create a unique atmosphere. The service isn't good, but it's like this in the West when you're busy, and you can't afford it rather than coming from malice or contempt for Asians.
Although it supports online reservations, it seems that it is a mechanism to check manually, so even if you make an online reservation just before, it may be faster to end up in the queue after all.
Delicious hot chocolate but the rest of the lunch was hardly worth it. However the interior is magnificent!
Hot chocolate very good. (whatever not given anyway ..)
Absolutely beautiful places. Divine wall murals.
On the other hand the staff is execrable.
The conso the conso the conso
Really unfriendly and haughty.
Too bad because it is an exceptional place but I will not come back because of the quality of the service which is more than disrespectful and mediocre.
Totally over rated. Paid too much. Wasn't anything special. Don't bother wasting your time. You get better quality in your local Paris boulangerie.
Old cafe-restaurant (1903) of the city that is still a sight to behold due to its space and decoration. Very likely to come across a long tail to sit in. Try the famous hot chocolate (africaine). Good food at high prices and expensive for sure. or otherwise a city.
I love but more for lunch (with the possibility of booking) for brunch. ..
Delicious chocolate, very pretty setting, pleasant welcome. Only downside, the first room is quite noisy and the waiting time is really very long 45 min in the afternoon.
It's very prestigious but the food itself is a little bit overrated.
Awesome
I love this place
The little treats are great.
I recommend it to spend a pleasant moment
I was told that you had to taste the hot chocolate at the Angelina coffee. I went there and I also tested the famous Mont Blanc, a strawberry and chocolate bread.
First of all, the place is a feast for the eyes: gilding, murals and ice cream. Then the chocolate. Not drinking milk, I was not disappointed by the famous African milk chocolate: it is more like a mixture of melted chocolate and cream. Yum!
Then comes the Mont Blanc and Viennese pastries and the huge disappointment that accompanies them! Mont Blanc is inedible: ultra sweet and pasty substance in the mouth not pleasant at all. Strawberry is a block of tasty cream with a strawberry in the middle a little lonely. And the pastries (chocolate bread and croissant) are industrial!
To finish, the staff is not as classy as the place ..
Result of this little escapade: 18 euros!
To conclude, go for hot chocolate only, do not take patisserie!
Excellent pastries, you can also buy takeaway, line of people to enter. Angelina is also mentioned in the book L'eleganza del riccio by Muriel Barbery
Must go once in your life, hot chocolate to die for, expect long lines
Known for one of Paris' best cups of chocolat chaud (hot chocolate). Everything here is rich and decadent. You can get the hot chocolate while sitting down or simply get a cup to go. Its perfect for a sweet treat on a cold day
Delicious hot chocolate, a little wait but the beverages are worth it
It is so delicious!!! The price is good too. I love here so much. I would like to go here again:) Thanks to it my travel of paris is happy!!
The HOT chocolate though! Like what the hell is in it because it's nothing short of rich perfection. The cod which was the special of the Day was rich and cooked to absolute perfection served alongside a ratatouille and a tartare which was an amazing complement to the taste of the cod. We also had eggs Benedict which was rich and tasty with a traditional taste.
Delicious hot chocolate. Wonderful the thousand leaves ...
Macaron is not as amazing as it used to be, and you can see it with the same quality in Seoul.
I booked at 1 p.m. for lunch in order to avoid the queue for good food, so nice dishes and of course Mont Blanc ... we were seated at the back of the room and the tables are really too tight ... too bad
Wonderful historic venue right in the center of Paris. High prices but definitely worth a visit.
By far the best meal we had in Paris. A must go too!!! This is a star restaurant!!!
The French class, the best Mont Blanc of the universe, a creamy chocolate with homemade whipped cream. Almost decadent ...
Long wait, 30 minutes. Do not come to 4 ... you will see in front of you all the people who are 2.
Lovely. Great atmosphere. Hot chocolate is amazing!
It has very good pastries and yummmmm hot chocolate! It has a very big queue to enter into it but it's worth waiting.
Prestigious place. Hot chocolate a tasty classic, pastries sound to fall
Right across from the Louvre in the center of the city center of Paris lies Angelina coffee shop with its belle epoque aesthetics. It is synonymous with a drink full of rich and flavor hot chocolate. His name is also intertwined with the timeless Mont blanc a sweet with meringue, mashed cream and whipped cream
I had chocolat mont-blanc. I normally don t like marron flavoured desserts, but I liked this one!
A busy tearoom. It offers several assortments of cakes. You have to queue to enter! very dynamic staff :)
There is also a recommendation of a friend and visit. It seems that Mont Blanc is famous.
Even though it is about 17:00 on weekdays Because the shop is large, it takes about 15 minutes. It is bustling with impression that there are many tourists, or it is noisy. I heard that it was a traditional shop, so I went fashionable, but it was casual and no problem at all.
I ordered Mont Blanc and cafe au lait. Montblanc is big, sweet and half and gives up. However, it was delicious. Cafe au lait mixes coffee and milk by itself. This amount is also enough. I'm hungry, and the rest of Mont Blanc is home. However, the taste is both normal.
The clerk's service was very good, as tourists are used to it.
The meal menu looks very delicious (and after all the big size!). I would like to receive it at the next opportunity.
Simply marvelous!
You must try the Mont Blanc and their signature African hot chocolate!! So wonderful!!!
Very rich everything. Excellent quality. The place is traditional, a little dark. Nice to know a classic.
The place in Paris to drink the tastiest chocolate chaud and to eat something tasty from the patisserie.
We love it or not! Tea room with vintage atmosphere ... We go back to find this atmosphere these family memories!
And Mont Blanc
Always excellent! An institution.
I don't know if it's me, but I have the impression that Mont Blanc has slimmed down ...
A perfect brunch: eggs benedict to brioche, we savored every bite. Special mention to the attentive service!
The restaurant within was beautiful. There was not a long line to get in. I like that they had an ice cream stand with her ice cream when you left. Service is great and the people were nice.
I'm only giving Angelina 3 starts because of it's pricing... it's waaay to overpriced for desserts/teas and beverages. Also extremely crowded as it's very touristy.
But flavor wise I do have to give it a 5+ star.
Their chocolate (hot or cold) is to die for!!! I get what the fuss is about. And the deserts are really nice, also the location and decoration are nice.
