I applied for Casual Mail Sorter few weeks back. I submitted all the documents and I spoke with Swetha Saikumar at Angard was extremely polite and helpful. I was unclear about few things on my application at Royalmail. She is very professional and she explained each and every this about, how the process works. I hope I'll get response from Royal mail soon as possible.

I had a very positive discussion with Jade Conroy ...

I had a very positive discussion with Jade Conroy of Angard Staffing earlier today. I emailed her, to humbly request that she accommodate my wife for extra shifts, as I am currently off work after an operation (and struggling to pay bills).

She accepted my request and within a few minutes, gave my wife a weekend shift.

Thank you SO MUCH, Jade ... you will never know how much this means to me and my family. I wish all the best for you and anything you do. Absolutely brilliant service. Faultless! Highly recommended.

Poorly organised. You get a text on a Saturday say...

Poorly organised. You get a text on a Saturday saying to call a number to get shifts for that week. If you call as soon as you get the text you might get some decent shifts, although you'll likely be on hold for at least 20 minutes. If you don't call back straight away you'll be left with night shifts. I found a job so I'm trying to hand in my resignation. I emailed two different people and filled out the appropriate section on the website, over two weeks later I've still not heard anything back about this. Just called up to try and discuss it, was told that I have to email payroll and that "normally they take 7-14 days to process it but it might be longer because they are all working from home".

Hi there ,
I have been working with Angard for almost two years in different mail centers and from June 2017 I started working at Atherstone mail center and first came to know Megan who communicated with the opportunity and working with Megan at Atherstone mail center was good benefit for me as I was able to book my shift one week in advance and often get enough shifts every week, her communication was absolutely good and all my inquiries were explained comprehensively.
In terms of Mr. Jon Frost I know him very shot time and communicated several times with him to my understanding he is good and I did not experience any problems in communicating with him ,therefore I would say Atherstone mail center is the best mail center around west midlands and I am happy working with both Megan and Jon.

This agency is very professional. I have had the pleasure of working with Ange Elliott and she has been fantastic. She s made sure that everything has been followed up with a a call and a confirmation email. She is very responsive when trying to contact her. She s kept me in the loop throughout the whole process and I can t thank her enough for helping me to get a job. She is very understanding and friendly, I never felt that I couldn't contact her for anything. I highly recommend her and the agency. I have the same problem with them as everyone else...

I have the same problem with them as everyone else is. Worked two weeks now constantly getting my shifts cancelled. And if a different shift is available im not able to confirm a booking as can't get through on time. Also looks like they underpaid me.... rubbish agency

No clear communication with staff, no help when is...

No clear communication with staff, no help when issues are encountered with their employee portal, having asked explicitly (two different individuals) if the role could be worked self employed I was enrolled as an employee which has caused a number of problems.

Staff are so rude on the phone I m completely appalled.

Out of pocked as I haven t been paid the hours worked two weeks in a row.

DO NOT WORK FOR THESE GUYS

I have just ended a role with Angard to go back in...

I have just ended a role with Angard to go back into my normal profession , not something have done before but the whole process was effortless , professional and organised and Chris was fantastic!
I did throughly enjoy my work and the people I worked with and if ever I become (hopefully not) in the same situation I wouldn't think twice about taking another role with Angard - highly recommend!

Angaard staffing have had a number of changes in personnel for allocating shifts recently for the Chelmsford sorting office, I must say that the latest person " Terry Davis " seems to appreciate the needs of the workers better than some of the others. Personally I have said in the past to other staff that because of the distance I live from work the shorter shifts were not worth me going to. Others seemed to respond by not giving me any shifts at all.
Terry seems very responsive to emails and has been most helpful and appreciative to my situation, and from what I hear from others, the feel the same. Thank you.

Very dodgy with Royal Mail jobs . Made a group of us (12) show up for registration in Croydon 2017 . Took copies of our personal documents sent us home only to find out no one got recruited because messed photo copying our documents . And I only found out by chasing them up ! And I remember ppl travelled from all over I'm talking Ashford in Middlesex . Really Angarf you compensate people for the error !

First of all please ignore my user name (My grandsons account) angard managers please get your pop corns ready to read my review as it will be a very long and detailed one.

Despite some negative reviews on here, I can agree some of my experience over the last few years was not the greatest but wouldn't say it was terrible.

My consultant is Reena Begum and I would like to say a few things about her.









I told Reena my birthday and anniversary date, I was not expecting a message on both of those days wishing me a happy birthday and anniversary. I never had this before and I really appreciated this. I also recieved a text wishing me a Happy New Year and she thanked me for my work which I was very touched to say the least.

I had an operation on my knee last year, Reena took the time to call me and ask how it went. She also called me weekly to see how I am recovering. I also had pay issues before which my emails were not being responded to, Reena kindly spoke to some payroll members for advise and fed me back the response. If that is not going above and beyond I don't know what is.

Reena I would like to thank you very much for being an amazing consultant. You have great quality and I'm sure you will get very far in your career and life in general.

Shyam Ganatra helped me promptly and efficiently. My application was stuck from a long time due to covid. When I called Angard, I spoke to Shyam for the first time and explained him my case. He resolved my issue just within a day. He went out of his way and worked on my application like a friend and also he is a humble person. I deeply and sincerely appreciate his efforts to help me. For more than a month they had me down for royal m...

For more than a month they had me down for royal mail work, failed to post me the picture ID that I had to 'carry round at all times or face dismissal'. I didn't have it for starting and was told I'd need to carry round my passport with me instead.
I caught a bad cold and phoned in sick in the morning 1.25 hours before my shift started. The call answerer didn't even ask my name or what it was for so I presumed they got it based on my number, so I left it. There's nothing to say I should also call Royal Mail. And we were told on day 1 that we should inform Angard of any absence who will then pass it on to RM. Same day I get a call saying they've withdrawn me as I didn't turn up for my shift! Just what I need when I'm ill in bed. Then quickly backtracked when I said I had called and that they would post me when I was originally due to start (next Monday). This agency are terrible! I've worked for an agency once before and it was terrible too! Why don't Royal Mail just take on the temporary staff directly!?

It seems like their sell your personal information and important documents. After sending personal details and attachments of documents and all the other information they request , they will ignore you. Don't waste your time dealing with them and be wary of your private and personal information you share.

With my nearly 3 years working with Angard, I didn't have much problem in dealing both with shifts and personal concerns. I see a big difference now when the new consultant Reena started dealing with us. She's very transparent when it comes to shift availability, she have her way of organising the schedule for the staff. Reena gave confirmation on time and explained well thru message if there is a cancellation needed for the prebooked shift. Most of all, Reena listened to staff and dont rush herself or just hang up the call just like what i experienced with some of the consultants before. She may be stressed as well with a lot of calls but it will not reflect the quality of her work. she still remain calm and deal with our calls or concerns. thumbs up to her and hopefully everyone will be the same.

Waste of time, spend ages applying/registering then hear nothing about any shifts or work. Impossible to get hold of too and when they did eventually respond to me they said please apply on our website which I ve already done! So frustrating.

Angard is owned by the Royal Mail Group PLC, and run by Reed.
Works fine, typical start of assignment payroll hiccups and once set all seems to work.
There is a lovely lady called Afsana there who goes above and beyond what is expected. Is patient, courteous, and professional in my interaction with her.
This is all it takes for an employee - have one contact in the agency who appreciates workers are revenue earners and treat them with respect and remain professional, approachable and be the problem solver at all times.
Good work Afsana, keep it going.

"its very quiet at the moment, we will let you know " i have been hearing this for since before Christmas , must have had around 4 five hour shifts in that time, Phone number for my area has been off for 3 weeks now, i ring the main number and they freak out at me for daring to ask about work. (option 2 when you ring this number is "an existing worker enquiring about shifts....)

Gets pretty demoralizing when you hear of others seemingly getting as many shifts as they want

Or being told there are no shifts only to find out various people got offered work that day

No one to complain to, no one will tell you why/what is going on

Something needs done about this mess of a company

I have worked a zero hours contract with Angard for a little over a year now, at Atherstone PSC. I enjoy the work and have had the opportunity to learn several 'extra' aspects of the job (TDs, Post Express etc.) that make days more interesting. Angard HQ staff that I deal with are usually very helpful, particularly Megan Walton, who has assisted me with a number of issues, and more recently Jon Frost.

Having worked for Angard for just over a year now ...

Having worked for Angard for just over a year now i can honestly say that i enjoy my job with them. having worked in road haulage for over 40 years its very nice to know that i have a start and finish time instead of will i get home tonight or even this week. The flexibility of shifts is very good , the rates of pay are excellent, and i,ve made some very good friends at Atherstone .. Megan Walton and Jon Frost have always been very professional , helpful and friendly be it on the phone or e-mail . Nothing is to much trouble for them , if they can help with any problem you have they will . Shift changes and so on. They are just a phone call away. If you get a cancellation it is because of workload which is understandable .I would like to see the block booking system that we used at Xmas back again but then you will get people booking shifts that they cannot fulfill due to unforeseen circumstances that arise.so at the moment i,m more than happy to carry one with the system they use..And the way i see it is that it is nice to actually nice to talk to Megan and Jon other to keep talking to a laptop keyboard. It does give it that personal touch.

Secondly, told they were awaiting papers, even though I had been issued an Angard ID BADGE.

Angard still advertise for Royal Mail jobs. Not worked since Xmas. No confidence I ever will.

I am writing directly to Royal Mail. So they are aware of what is being done or not done!!

Working through Angard for Royal Mail Group at the...

Working through Angard for Royal Mail Group at the Dorset mail centre has really been a good experience for me. It has greatly improved my attention to detail and ability to multitask. I love the fact that the shifts are distributed in a fair way through sms, calls and emails. In my opinion, they try as much as possible to make sure everyone has a shift. However, this is a zero hour contract and it depends on business needs. Overall, I enjoy working for Angard staffing and the staff are polite and make sure they explain any of your questions or queries especially the staff in charge of Dorset mail centre.

I would recommend to get in touch with Angard staffing Payroll team this team are very polite all the time i had issue they helped me to resolving also they are not rude on the phone as does option 2. I highly recommending Angard staffing Payroll Team they are very professional, compressive, polite, helpful people. I am giving 10000% thumb up and instead 5 stars I wish give 10 stars for jobs they doing helping people like me. I never received bad treatment on the phone when i call Payroll department all the staff are been always understanding, and very happy to helping me to resolve issues. Option 2 the staff are very rude have no patient with anybody and with me as well. They are not helpful at all i am referring angard staffing option 2, me and other people are not deserving to be treat horrible and unfairly.
Big thanks to young lady who helped me today with my issue with my Sdwork. She was very polite, patient very helpful customer. She sorted me issue with her colleague thanks to both. Very satisfaction with the service i received this morning today 2nd September 2020 from young lady and her colleague. They working at Angard staffing in PayRoll department option 4. Thanks to colleague who helped as well. Fantastic team!
