Dr Johansen and Dr Anderson are fantastic. Both physicians work well with each other and as someone that works in the community - they answer all messages in a timely manner with their recommendations.
In the early stages of the COVID-19 pandemic, my team and I had trouble with family physicians accessing in person appointments when required.
The nursing team at the Andrew Street Health Centre took the time to book the appointment and complete the task in a safe manner for the patient. Thank you so much to the Andrew Street Family Health team!

DR. ARTHUR WINTER is fantastic, took me on such short notice when I was experiencing pain. Really compassionate. Very lucky to have him as our family doctor.

First time a Doctor has asked me "How can I help you" when discussing issues I'm having. If I knew I could treat myself and not have to ask.

I am also really thinking over the need for a family doctor. Often its a 2 week wait to see the doctor (phone appointment) when i can see a walk in doctor same day in person.

Receptionists are the worst, they are rude and unprofessional, they sound annoyed when you ask them to follow up on paper work and lie to you about the doctors hours I was told by them the doctor only took appointments once a week, when I called the next day I was given an appointment that same day. All I need was a prescription refill done and they gave me a hard time. The tone of their voice was so rude they think people don t pickup on that. You want to be rude that s ok, but it s not ok to lie when a patient is in need of her prescription my mom could not go with out her prescription her health would be in jeaperdy and they told me it would take 5 businesses days the pharmacy just needed approval from the doctor. I even called to let them know the pharmacy was sending in the request.

The receptionist are the worst. I was booked for flu shot at 5:30pm. They called me asking if possible to come early around 4:30pm since I was the only one needing a flu shot that day. I said it might be difficult but I ll try to come early. Unfortunately, I could not come any earlier than my appointment time at 5:30pm. When I arrived the receptionist asked my name and said your very late. I explained how I told you I ll try to come in early. She gave me a lot of attitude. It was the most unprofessional behaviour I have ever seen. I am actually changing my doctor to another clinic because of the treatment of the receptionist. It s amazing how management is completely blinded by their behaviour. This clinic must have very passive management and standards.

I used to accompany my parents and my sister to see Dr. Brewster at this clinic. Dr. Brewster is so kind and patient. He is also very knowledgeable! The best doctor in our eyes!!

Im very happy with my experience. My doctor is nice as well as my nurses. If anything Im actually really grateful the care I got was efficient and quick - which was great because I was really frustrated with my health.
Just to give an example, they were able to get me to see an allergist within a month. With previous doctors a family member of mine had to wait 6 month.

Dr. El- Assar is by far the best family doctor we ve ever had. She is attentive, supportive and listens to questions and concerns, and when a specialist is needed, she goes above and beyond to arrange for the best care possible. She is extremely knowledgeable, calm, optimistic, and overall the epitome of what a physician should be.

The staff and nurses are very willing to help you out with any questions or concerns. The Doctors are Great.
