This YMCA is so racist and ill-mannered to a point I won't advise or recommend anyone to work or join membership there. I once had a membership with this YMCA and decided to cancel because I was mistreated by some of the staff. Ms. Edsinga is so fake and her intern as well. I applied for a job within their department this past June 2012 but they refused to hire me because of my ethnic background. I advise you not to work here.
I applied for a job on july,they called me for an interview on August. Then i had to wait another month to take their qualification test and another month to know if i pass or if i had to retest. Wouldn't recommend applying for a job there unless you want to wait for a couple of months.
Very friendly YMCA and is fairly clean. They also have free coffee.
Great programs and the staff are very friendly. They have new machines and the locker rooms are clean.
They never gave me a refund, even though I called multiple times and emailed them. I enrolled my son in one class, but I had rejected the confirmation because I was unable to make the time (i rejected two minutes after checkout). I left a voicemail to the program director and they still have not called me back. This happened in the beginning of August and I have still not receive my money back.
The Anaheim YMCA withholds an amazing week long summer camp program which only presents lots of positivity along with friendly volunteers! I am a former camper who attended Camp Miehana (ages 6-12) and Camp Fox (ages 13-18). Sadly, I am now too old for these programs but will definately enroll my children. These camps are very exciting and fun filled. I highly reccomend!!!
p.s. A great gymnastics program, many skilled coaches who create a fun environment for the kids! (ages 18 months-17 years)
