I worked for American Structurepoint for 3 years. They are a great company full of great people. I look forward to working for them in the future when they expand in my area with a division in my field of work.
I was and still am proud to say I worked for such a great company. The way they lead with a professional
outlook and just an all out caring attitude is awesome. They have always taken the time to let communities know of upcoming projects that we will be working on in the area which build a relationship even before I get there to perform the work. Can't say enough about everything they do to reach out for disaster relief efforts and to something as small as a local family and definitely always there to help a family of an employee or the employee themselves.

American Structurepoint was paid approximately $100,000.00 to evaluate the feasibility of wind farms in Henry County. Their findings were that it would not be a good area for them for several reasons, the chief one being that the majority of the citizens who responded to their survey stated that they didn't want them near their homes. When the county officials pressured Structurepoint to change the report to say what they, and the wind companies, wanted it to say, they caved to the pressure. Shame on you for taking our tax dollars and then throwing us under the bus.

Outstanding firm. Well led. Extremely smart people who helped our city solve some complicated problems offering practical solutions the citizens benefit from everyday. Indiana is fortunate to have the services of so strong a firm.

Hired American Structurepoint through a local architecture firm for a commercial distribution center in Westfield Indiana. A few significant errors were made by someone with limited experience on their team. One specific error resulted in a horribly designed truck dock drainage system. The repair estimates are tens of thousands of dollars. Not only have they refused to take any responsibility, but have been curt and rude throughout the process of reviewing the bad design. After posting my challenges on LinkedIn I ve had several people private message me that they ve had similar bad experiences with American Structurepoint. One claimed they will fight long and hard to avoid taking any responsibility. Be warned before you engage them for your project!

As a resident of Henry County, I expected Structurepoint to provide a final comprehensive plan that reflected the input of the broader community that they surveyed throughout the planning process. Unfortunately, it appears to me that the final plan presented seems to reflect just the opinion of our county leaders. I could have typed up the opinion of our county leaders for $100,000. I expected the final comprehensive plan to accurately reflect the desires of the county as a whole.

I work with American Structure point on a near daily basis in Carmel, IN. They are professional, have great follow through, and always deliver a great product. Apparently Henry Co residents went on a smear campaign because they weren't happy with the outcome. I can only speak to the several years of reliable service they have provided the City of Carmel Engineering Department. They do great work and are very component; definitely suggest using them.

As a Henry County resident I am very disheartened at the sudden change in your stance on the wind energy in our county. In Aug.you stated that wind energy was not the right fit for our county.Less than two months later you did a complete about face and suddenly said that wind energy should be adopted. Why the sudden change??
Persuasion is a very strong tool and apparently someone in our county government is using it!!

As a near- lifelong resident of Henry County I am very disappointed with American StructurePoint's stance on wind power in the comprehensive plan for our county. The August preliminary draft submitted by American Structure Point stated wind turbine power was NOT a good fit for this county. However, In Oct. the final draft was submitted in which Structurepoint made a complete 180 degree turn stating wind turbine power was a definite option for this county. It is apparent that the only view that matters to American Stucture Point is from the governmental body that is signing the check. I would say paying the bill, but the Henry County taxpayers are footing the $100,000 bill. One would think that opinions from those County Officials with signed conflicts of interest would be taken with a grain of salt, since they have a financial interest in Wind Turbines coming to the county.

Very sad to see that you have changed your stance on wind energy in Henry county. I grew up there on a farm where these are being proposed to be installed. I'm very upset that my home place and many of my childhood friends and neighbors are about to be plagued with these horrible things. These things should not be 1500' from a person's home. Sad that some people that I grew up with are county commissioners and are buying into this. Money talks is an old saying that sure stands true to day. Shame on you for selling out!
