American Stage production of Night Shift is excellent.
American Stage production of Night Shift is excellent.
Small theatre, every seat is a good one. Paid, convenient parking across the street.
Wonderfull theater. Very intimate seating layout. No bad seats.
Great small venue theater. No such thing as a bad seat. Wonderful productions.
I have attended a few of American Stage's presentations at Demens Landing Park. When the weather is nice this venue is a very nice evening out. The shows themselves are always good quality and there is just something about an evening under the stars. Bring low chairs for comfort then enjoy the food and drink vendors.
Attended the "The Invisible Hand" Jun 18. The performance was very good, and the actors were absolutely superb. However, I rated the evening a three star simply because of the extensive use of profanity. Unfortunately today's society thinks it is necessary to use vulgarity for impact. Why did I attend? My point is that American Stage should have publicized that profanity was used and then I wouldn't have attended. No, don't inform people of the matter, so they attend and that generates more revenue. Coincidentally, all four people of my party of nine that I mentioned the issue agreed with me.
What a great experience. Very intimate. Not a bad seat in the theater.
Always a few solid plays in their season. Great addition to the arts community, here.
This is a fantastic venue for national and local theater. The theater space is both intimate and large enough for a good sized crowd to share your experience with.
Saw Raisin in the Sun, was really good. Enjoyed it very much.
Fantastic performance - Top notch actors, direction & set design in an intimate setting, producing a full-on experience from any seat in the house.
Love watching all their shows. Been here many times over and over again. Highly entertaining.
Show was too long not happy fun too serious strange
Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberly was terrific! A first class production. Well done, American Stage!
American stage doesn t just put on fantastic plays, they also have an awesome improv program! Whether you re looking for classes or just want to catch a snow, they ve got you covered. Come say hi!
Love, love, love this theatre. The shows are amazing, and intimate theatre makes you feel as if you're part vod the production. The plays are though provoking and acting is outstanding.
Saw a play here. Intimate theatre, all the seats are good ones.
We love American Stage! We saw a fabulous production of 'Much Ado About Nothing' and truly enjoyed it.
This is a great theater place. Productions are always top notch. Its a close and personal atmosphere. Check their young adults discount programs - you van litrtally attend for free.
An equity theater that always presents the best work. Lots of new shows just wish there were more local performers
First-rate professional theater with entertaining and thought-provoking offerings.
This is an awesome little theatre to see a performance in. All seats, even toward the back offered great views of the stage. As it's smaller, they can't change the stage itself too much between scenes, but Marjorie Prime didn't require too much set change to be interesting.
Always new, exciting, and professional storytelling!
We have season tickets for the Saturday matinees, we love the shows, very professional and fun.
IF you have not gone to AST. YOU ARE MISSING some of the best entertainment
In the BURG
Love this place amazing performances great classes, take an improv class it's fun!
Well done classics to the whimsical. Not too many musicals, thank goodness.
We came to watch Sex with Strangers, it is very good, right now with are in the intermission
Saw Fun Home the last play of the season for AST. It's a musical with a contemporary flair. Liked the venue very much. Comfortable seating with decent sight lines from everywhere. Parking wasn't an issue. And the play was well and nicely presented.
Is a very nice theater, small but very nice and cozy. Clean, great lights and stage.
Very intimate setting for some well-composed plays. There is not a bad seat in the building. Overall a great experience and a regular date for my wife and I.
I see a performance here at least twice a year. I would love to go more often but my schedule and inclinations don't allow it. Our group of 4 saw Raisin In The Sun and although it was a bit too long for my taste, it was a wonderful production. We usually go on Pay What You Can nights and these are the pre shows before the opening night while they are still working out any kinks but they need to have the live audience reaction to be able to gauge. I wish they would also include a way to get our feedback from these nights - maybe a form that we could drop in a box? Of course we know that you don't have to take suggestions but it possibly could be helpful. For example, I heard quite a few people comment on the length of this particular performance so there could have been a way to contract some of that dialogue without losing the power of the messages. Those nights are also open seating so if you have a group that you'd like to sit with, get there early. Very comfortable theater with good visuals throughout. And you MUST include their annual performance in the park on your calendar (Demens Landing in the spring).
Always a professional production. Comfortable seating and great pre show talks.
Theater with world-class actors. The current season is exceptional and we all enjoyed A Raisin in the Sun. Great views from every seat. Some of the best plays and performances in our area. Love the programming so check out their website to stay connected and support the arts

Having just moved to the area, we were looking for a new place to enjoy shows. American Stage delivers and surprises. Each season offers a unique and diverse set of shows with real meaning. Though the space is intimate, they use every inch well and set a creative standard for shows to follow
