Don't go here for repairs! They will mess up your bike so that there's more for them to fix on it. I know three people plus myself who have had bad experiences with them changing tires. They were not careful with the specialty paint on the wheels and caused dents in the wheel itself. They may be awesome at selling motorcycles, but fixing, not so much.
Finally on the map (no longer Yamaha of Beaufort). The shops inventory is growing with both new and used bikes. The parts wall is also adding inventory and we were very pleased that they had the Harley part we needed.
Great work, very reasonable prices , took care of all of my off road vehicles , they get the job completed FAST !!

I took my '07 ZX6R in after a minor drop (5-10 mph ditch to avoid a car that pulled out / didn't see me), that lead to major issues (broken radiator bracket that ruptured a coil, fair bit of damage to front/left fairing, shift lever, foot peg, the list goes on), and I wasn't quite sure of what to expect. However, from the time I dropped it off, to the day I picked it up, I never was given a reason to doubt the service my baby would get, thanks to the professionalism and courtesy of the staff. I dare say my bike came out better than she was before I dropped her. If it wasn't for me relocating to a new address (moving up to VA), I wouldn't bring my motorcycle to anyone else.
I ordered my new tires through AMC for which they gave me a hefty discount (a few $ less than I could find them anywhere else) and they came in the next day. They replaced them the following day with mount and balance in about an hour and a half. Unfortunately, I went out of town for that day expecting to be able to pick the bike up in the morning and they failed to inform me they were closed for the next 2 days due to a holiday. I did communicate my intentions to them prior to leaving the bike there. They did try to help me out after realizing the issue, but there was nothing they could do at that point. No issues with the installation, balance, or alignment. The labor seemed a bit much, I think I might drop the wheels off with them next time.

Highly recommend this place!!! Extremely fast work and very high quality! I was quoted about a day to get my bike taken care of and checked out, plus mount a new tire. They called me back 2 hours later and said it was good to go. Very professional and friendly staff. Love this place. I won t go anywhere else.
Tire installation on Concours 14. Got great price on tires. Installation was $50 per tire whether you bring in just the wheels or they take them off the bike. I will never let them take them off the bike ever again if I decide to purchase tires through them again. They almost cost me my life by not tightening down one of the fork axel clamp bolts. Thankfully I drove it only 2 miles to my house and checked their work. Don't trust these junkyard mechanics.
Can t recommend these guys highly enough. Went out of their way to help with a broken fuel pipe on my Buell carb. They searched their own stock of spares to get me back on the road asap however couldn t find anything. Ordered the part to fix the issue on a Friday, delivered on the following Tuesday and my carb was fixed and returned to me the very same day.
Outstanding service, above and beyond in my opinion, and very reasonable rates.

I will never use the rip off/con artist again. I'll admit I'm no mechanic, and they took advantage of that. I took my back tire to them to get the valve stem replaced all went well. The next week I take the bike in to get front fork seals done and the front brake pad replaced because its saturated in oil. The next thing I know they call me and tell me the front brake pad is fine, that I need to get the brake fluid flushed, and also i needed new tires because mine were dry rotted. I knew my tires were not dry rotted, but like an idiot i tell them ok to the brake fluid flush, I get the bike back, there is no sign where they did the brake fluid flush, and I still have no brakes. The front pad is still soaked in oil. They didn't even clean the oil off the side of the tire when they were done with the seals. Crappy work, crappy service, would not recommend using them for anything more than the punch line of a really bad joke....
Staff is very friendly, was very welcoming for somebody out of town.
My vt600 stopped working about 8 months ago. After going through a couple workthrough steps it still wasn't coming to life. I finally decided to get it to the guys. American motorcycle company received my bike on Friday of last week. They had my bike worked on and fixed by Wednesday. Friendly service and a quick turn around at a good cost definitely has me applauding their name. They work on all bikes and they know bikes. Thanks again guys
Best place to take your bike to to get any type of service work done . Very knowledgeable and very friendly and their prices are especially decent they don't try to rip you off . If you need anything done they can do it .
I have taken my Harley to AMC several times for tune ups to, most recently, having new handlebars/risers installed. The staff did a great job with helping match the bars to the bike and the internal wiring installation looks amazing. I recommend AMC if you want a shop that is going to take care of your bike at a fair price.

THESE GUYS ROCK!!!! I came here to get tubes and tires mounted on my bike. Not only did they sell them to me at great price. But they mounted them on the bike super fast for me as i had prior arrangements. I will bring my bike here in the future

So happy I took my Harley to these guys. I had 2 simple things to do. An oil change and a sissy bar installed.
I called the dealership. Got a quote. They said they could do the sissy bar in 3 weeks. And the oil change? No. They only do a "service". And they would have to do that at a later date.
So I called American Motorcycle Company in Beaufort. "Come on over, we can do it today". I got there at 4:15, and was out the door at 6. With both repairs done. For LESS THAN HALF of what the dealer quoted.
This place is fast, reasonable, and they have great attitudes. I will be bringing all my service and repair issues to them in the future.
Great nice people but the work that was done was terrible I had alot of items in my bike replaced and fixed then was told there was a noise in my engine after 3 weeks they did not find anything wrong I was told to go for a test ride not even a block away I had to turn around the nut and block that hold my back tire were gone I could only have imagined if I didn't do a test ride and tried to come home they fixed the issue and didn't charge me but further inspection of the bike when I got home all the bolts were mismatched half of the screws to my fairings they were loose or assembled incorrectly almost everything that they did there is a issue with I am now having my bike fully inspected by another shop because i dont feel safe riding my bike
