American Language Center (ALC) Review

It s been over a month since I have finished my AIEP studies at UCLA Extension ALC. I have to admit I am so grateful for this experience I have had during the last quarter of 2018. I was so pleased and excited to attend the classes and getting knowledge from highly experienced teachers. I would like to thank my grammar teacher Joan and my reading and writing teacher Darren. The teachers in both these classes were beyond my expectations. I was very pleased to see how well they represented not only themselves but the ALC program. It was just all positive vibes.
I have chosen ALC because I ve heard so much positive feedbacks of the educational program and also because it was close to many attractions like the beach, museums, and only one near UCLA campus. It s just a beauty out there.
I am pleased to admit after finishing my classes I realize that I have been missing so much fascinating time during my lifetime studies. Today I understand great education, it is what ALC has to represent for itself. I ve never had such a great time in learning and studying the English language. Nevertheless, how much my English language has improved, especially vocabulary and grammar. I would like to thank all of ALC teachers who have helped us, foreigners, to learn the English language in the best and simplest way.

I love UCLA American Language Center (English Classes)!!! This is the reason I have been able to maintain my American speaking skills. I was born in china but I never get the chance to know this language after I came to USA as a baby .I went to UCLA American Language Center (English Classes)and I am so happy I did. I have learned a lot ever since took the classes. Love it. My husband also now attends classes and he enjoys them too.

Qualified teathers, nice programs and located in safe and beutiful westwood village. If you wanna improve English and make amazing friends from other countries, just choose IECP(intensive english conversation program).

It s good place to keep your English up also the teachers there is so friendly they give you motivation to be more advance in English

I paid insurance fee, but they didn't help me to check my status and my documents. They didn't help me to enroll insurance until the very last week I found this problem. I was trying to talk to them to extend or get The refund, but they didn't do that which means I waste my whole insurance money (insurance is expensive). I'm so disappointed. I am really disappointed with this school. Once there is a problem, there is almost no ability to solve the problem. I paid thousands of dollars in insurance fees. When I used insurance, the insurance company told me that the school did not pay for the insurance. The school did not check the information with me. In the last week, the school paid the insurance fee, but only a few days left, how can I use it? Now the attitude of the school is not refunding money, nor is it extended. Now there are 3 days left to use, funny. Really super disappointing! ! ! ! ! !
