I would like to respond to Ro Lawson s review. I worked at ACE (American Computer Estimating)for almost six years before moving on. What he describes as a poor place to work is funny at best. Like any work place it has its pros and cons. My family, almost a year ago, suffered a great loss. Everyone at ACE stepped up in my time of need. They were and will always be like family to me. No one is perfect, but to out right call anyone a racist is very childish. You didnt work there long enough to get to know anyone and you certainly didn t try to either. I do hope no future employers of yours reads your review. And I do hope it does not impact you negatively in the future. A boo who poor me attitude won t get you far. I wish you all the best.

I was here about two and a half years ago. I was brought on as a direct hire. I was getting $14 an hour and that was quite low for what they wanted you to do.
My biggest complaint was quite frankly this was by far the most UNWELCOMING environment I have ever had contact with in a work place!
As a new employee your supervisor Shayna does not train you on everything so when you get out on the floor how can you expect to know what to do? I got scolded for trying to do my job half the time and then the only time they approached me was when I made a mistake which I would not had made had I been trained properly and thoroughly!
In addition to that I felt they were very unwelcoming and racist.
I was one of two of a person of color at this place and I did not appreciate being looked at for no reason just because I happen to be black and everyone else isn't.
When I talked to HR they didn't really address it and when I brought it up again they decided to let me go.It may have been a combination of things as I dislike to use the race card but I felt it was justified here.
Also Ron my supervisor was very unfriendly and unwelcoming with new employees. They just want bodies to do the extra work they cannot do.
Shout out to Dan Gizzio who was one of the FEW people who actually makes new employees feel welcomed! I would not recommend this place. Its funny because they STILL need people to help them and its been over a year. That tells me a lot looking back on it. karma is a.....
