I would like to thank Doctor Hussein Omar for every thing accually I am sick I suffer from OCD and deppression for about 10 years and when symptoms increased , I decided to go to the psychiatrist , Not that OCD is known to be afraid to speak because the main reason is fear of embarrassment, but when I meet Doctor Hussein Omar I felt comfortable speaking and convinced to take the medicine and I'm in treatment time now , I wish for doctor all the success , thank you doctor and thank you American center for having people with excellent experience know the symptoms before the expression about it like Doctor Hussein Omar .

Bad bad and very bad place , , but the funny part in case of emergency you can t reach the doctor who follow up your case and even in center they don t have his mobile number , we waited there 2 hours in American neurology center just because the American center receptionist trying to reach the doctor because they don t believe in emergency , but they given me 6 different medicine and every time they charging me 450dhs if am going to see the doctor 1 mint only , bad place if you have other choice go there , They don t care about anything except let you pay every time you come in it s a like supermarket, i follow up there only because of one the doctor, medication not covered I pay cash I pay in my own ,,I can t afford all in one time ,in case want to split ,for twice every time they refuse to give me unless I pay for a description charge ,just to get my medication witch cost only 4600 every month from they own pharmacy with no other place have same supply of medication what s doctors there advise, baaaaad and 1 star u don t deserve

I highly recommend the American Center , They provides excellent care in mental health , my brother has been a regular patient with Dr. Hussein Omar. He is very decent doctor, he is professional and knowledgeable, His treatment plan has been very effective , as my brother returned to normal within one month of treatment. ACPN (in short) is a wonderful place to be for getting your mental health related consultation and/or treatment

I was suffering from stress and constant thinking which made life almost impossible, and I hesitated that I offer treatment but why
I treated and completed a month of treatment I noticed a very significant change for the better, I just wish I had resorted to treatment early.

No respect for appointments. Everytime I take an appointment at this place I would wait for at least 30 - 40 mins, after my appointment to be admitted. This is a major issue especially for working people. Patients are not informed of delays and are left to wait as though it is the norm.

I wasn t sure at first wether i should go to ACPN or not, but i dont regret going there at all, the staff are very nice and helpful. Big thanks to Dr hussein Omar for his kindness and patience, he has a great way in guiding you and knows well how to reach your deep thoughts without giving you hard time or judging you.. It is been few months since i joined, but hopefully with such a great dr i will be able to get my normal life back.

Ridiculously incompetent. I came into this clinic in November of 2018 and was told there is no solution to my case. I left crying like crazy, feeling suicidal and disoriented. Looking back I see my thinking was impaired from all the pills I was put on.

Unprofessional psychiatrists will be quick to label you after a 5 minute conversation and experiment by throwing a bunch of pills your way. My advice is: if something makes you feel off, it pays off to be wary of what a psychiatrist with a shiny certificate has to say.

My problem was literally caused by the medication. Furthermore, I paid 890 Dhs for a bad 5 minute consultation.

I strongly would not recommend this place.

Oh yeah: the doctors are all Arab. So the name is a nice marketing catch.

I had a very positive feedback about American Center for Psychiatry Abu Dhabi from my patients.
I am working as a consultant Family Medicine at NMC Family Medical Centre Al Bateen Abu Dhabi. and as a part of my usual practice I see patients from all age groups and various needs. Sometimes I refer patients to American Centre too. Also children with behavioural or Autism problems I referred to Dr Saqib Latif at American Centre, came back with extremely positive feedback and had good treatment, they foubd him very professional and humble.

I would like to thank the wonderful Dr. Hussein Omar for his help to me as I have been suffering from depression for a long time and I was unable to speak and with the help of the doctor he made me succeed in the first step which is to talk to him and tell him what I am suffering and now I follow a medication from him to treat me two months ago and I started the first One step is talking to people and trying to see the world in a good way. Just felt like the loss of my time and my nerves.
Was good for the numbing of my feelings and reality.
Diagnose was wrong and treatment was wrong!
Psychologist did a great job though - that is why I added 2 more stars. Maybe he even could have done a better job if the psychiatrist came with the right diagnose!

This review is about Dr. Najwan Al-Roubaiy. I ve been wanting to write this review ages ago but i was waiting for the right time, the time i truly felt happy and mentally healthy. I have been suffering with mental health for the past 8 years of my life. As time passed things just kept on getting worse, i have been to a lot of different doctors, tried different kinds of psychotherapy, always felt a slight improvement, but never actually felt i was even close to recovery. I finally saw Dr. Najwan 2 years ago, and i can confidently say that he is one of the most knowledgeable and professional doctors in his field. After seeing Dr. Najwan for a couple of times he was able to figure out what was exactly going on, and started me on the road to recovery. For me the thing that made a big difference in the treatment was that you feel he is fully engaged when trying to explain something to you, or trying to explain for you what you are going through, he goes that extra mile in his talking, he perfectly gets the message across. After a lot of therapy i can tell you it takes an effort for a therapist to do that. I never felt rushed or unheard, never felt hanging or dissatisfied, and most importantly didn t feel that it was just another session, every session counted and every session lifted me up further, thanks to his effort. For all the folks out there suffering, do not give up, there is always light in the end!!!

I have been following up with dr hussien omar for eating disorder.. he was able to discover the root causes of it, and tackled a lot of self destroying habits i had (for example : guilt, and impaired self worth). It was an amazing experience where I started to feel what the word relaxed mean. Furthermore .. he was realy a caring physician :)

I wish I can give ZERO stars for this clinic. Now it's my 3rd visit and I had to wait 30 minutes to get into the doctor. Someone else have taken my appointment time without informing the reciption as easy as normal. I asked them and they said it depends on the doctor visit time with patient, it might take longer than 30 min. Also unfortunately the doctor was not that helpful. He mostly depends on medications rather than consultancy . Also every visit he asked me to take have extra pill per day ( now I have to take 3 pills which is not normal). I previously called the clinic and asked them to connect with the doctor and they said will connect me to the doctor shortly and that did not happen. I actually don't recommend this clinic to anyone.

Worst place to go for help by a bunch of stuck up people that think having a paper they graduated from medical school means they are doctors. They are hypocrites to the owth they swore to always heal. I got a seizure waitin for my doctor appointment in their so called medixal center and instead of helping me they just waited for ambulance
So the so called best neurology and psychiatry center in abu dhabi couldn't help a person with a seizure or epilepsy and instead they black listed me closed my account even though I've been seeing doctor Tawfik for long time and they never even told me they blacklisted me or the reason why but they kept the money I payed them for the appointment. I found out I am blacklisted one year later when I went to see a psychiatrist at 8 am and was almost kicked out Coz I dared have a seizure on their lobby ... And ruin their reputation or WHATEVER. WORST HUMANS EVER....these are not healers .. Not doctors .. They are hypocrites business men pretending to be doctors..I found much better alternatives .. Save ur time and money go see a real American or European doctor that believe in healing not fake American Arab Indian doctors.... That are in this for the money ONLY.NOT ONE real American or western doctor...that's their first marketing scam . To get u in the door ... Yalla bye ..Update: to whoever replied from the clinic. It seems u have alot of people who have a seizure in ur clinic and then are blacklisted and treated like criminals and are not even given a reason why....ask Tawfik .. To tell you who I am .. Terrible place!!! After taking proper appointment and coming 15 mins prior to that, it took almost an hour for registration. It is already 40 mins passed from our appointment.
First time I have seen two people walking without mask in a hospital: No clue what s going on.

Doctors might be good if you actually get to see them. Went twice but did not get to see any actual doctor due to totally incompetent administrators who clearly have no patient/client service training.

Having to address mental health in a world that carries a stigma against those who are confronted with such issues is never easy. However, after years of on and off depression and constant anxiety being able to open up and understand what is wrong and how I can get better would not have been possible without Dr. Hussein Omar and the services of ACPN.

They don't even have MAO inhibitors. I wasted my money and time at ACPN.

I would highly recommend The American Center for Phsychiatry. Booking an appointment there is probably the best decisions I ve made for myself. I m currently one of Dr. Hussein Omar s patients and couldn t recommend him enough! He is professional, knowledgable, and very attentive. One of the worst centers that I have gone through is not interested in the patient nor what does the whole subject suffer from trying to internalize more people for material profit at the expense of the patient's health and the name of the centers start lying (American Center) Hahahaha and there is no American thing and I only need an American doctor for marketing

PS. I ve been off of my medication for 2 weeks now. Praise God, no withdrawal side effects. All throughout the year I keep myself active in God s activities and always, always make time to have a quiet time with my Savior. God uses me to intervene in the lives of six people who also suffered from depression and anxiety. Praise God they re all doing well now. God is really good! Seek Him first and you will find peace and comfort. Once more, I thank God for using Dr. Omar to help people like me to regain control of our lives. I am dealing with Dr. Hussein Omar, which is not good because I have been treated for 3 years and I do not find a change in my situation is worse, he is unable to treat the situation and is referred to other specialists by the doctor and there are no appointments and Dr. be distracted thinking when talking to him because he has pressure reviewers He does not have appointments nearby and you are waiting for 40 minutes or an hour if accepted to enter between the appointments and there is no room dedicated to waiting for women second floor and the place is tight and when talking to the doctor is hearing the reviewers that the case must be confidential and a report on my case was requested to be presented to other parties and I am waiting for the report From S Buain knowing that the report is paid 150 dirhams for the report only after receiving it or before receiving it paid to the center amount in full and has not been handed over the decision so far

I highly recommend the American Center. The doctors are very competent and professional, the staff are kind and courteous, and the pharmacy is efficient. Dr Hussein Omar, especially, is a gem! He made my transition from the US to the UAE seamless. I m very grateful!

I once waited 43 minutes past my schedule appointment and that was because they schedule patients 10 minutes apart (2:20, 2:30, and mine at 2:40). They clearly want to maximize profit.
My insurance doesn't fully cover psychiatry so I pay 450 dirhams on each visit for a 5-10 minute talk and he just prescribes medication and doesn't seem to care about my mental situation.
When I first opened a file, they requested my email address and promised will only be used for sending medical records. A month later I received promotional materials. Liars.
Parking is a nightmare. I usually park in the neighborhood behind the center but takes me 5 minutes to walk in the sun.
I won't come here again.

The level of treatment is distinguished and the doctors experience and at the highest level ... The problem of the hospital is the location ... Very few positions and also the pharmacy there is a slow dispensing of medicines ....

I booked appointment for my son and the reason that i mark em down is the customer service
I wasn t told about the carparks and where is their location !! I had to call many times while driving to find the designated carparks
