If I could rate them a 0 or negative I would. This is the absolute worst company I ve ever dealt with. Records were sent that was apparently never received but I was not informed until I called to see if they were scanned. My truck sat in the shop for weeks waiting on an update. Finally I got everything moving after hours and days of calls only for Noah my so called adjuster to be unresponsive and inactive on my claim for another three weeks. The repair shop kept me in the loop. I was told the claim was moving along just fine then told mu engine wasn t covered due to slush and that it was due to negligence of maintenance. I kept my oil changed. Missing one oil change does not cause that. They had the records they could ve denied me then instead of dragging me along. My truck sat for two months waiting on them so of course it looks old now. I was told I cannot appeal and the last rep I spoke with was rude unprofessional and hung up on me. 5 stars for being the worst ever and having a history of not covering large parts from these other reviews I just read.

I was out of town and brought my vehicle back to be looked at. They discovered the problem and even BEFORE they called they told me this is the worst company they have ever worked with. We were on the phone for an hour and a half. I was told that the parts were covered and now they needed a manager to authorize it. I waited until the shop closed and had to get a hotel room. THEN was told he could not find a manager, he was new and had a limit on how high he could authorize work. The next day we started at 8am with the company and was repeatedly sent back to the SAME incompetent guy. We stayed on the phone for another 48 minutes while he reviewed his own notes. Not kidding you. Finally he decides that they won't cover the parts and needed a pic of the leaking seal. Sent the pic and determined he did not see a leak. He wanted a better picture. I paid $2300 out of pocket just to go home. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. You have been warned.

Worst company I ve ever dealt with. Jeep has been in the shop for 41 days due to oil pump failing and seizing up the motor. I was told on several occasions by the adjuster and the manager that it s being approved only to find out today they re denying the claim, stating I drove the vehicle after the check engine light came on. Check engine light came on when I was headed to work. Got to work, vehicle ran fine, started driving home when the oil pump failed locking up the motor. Now they re only paying for the oil pump. Do NOT use this company!!

I had a great experience with Roadside Dispatch. The agent I spoke with was very friendly and courteous, and quickly found the nearest available towing company.

The towing service was awesome! I really appreciate the professionalism of the driver.

I am confident that if I ever have another breakdown I can depend on American Auto Shield's Roadside assistance for great service.

Completely the worst insurance company I ve ever worked with. I ve been without a car for a month now because the adjuster doesn t communicate at all with my dealer ship unless I call two weeks in a row to harass them. This is absolutely the worst investment of monthly payments I ve ever made in my life. You re better off paying out of pocket. This company has completely turned my life upside down and I wish I never paid them a cent. Still have no answers on a part they were supposed to spend all of last week looking for. I call for an update and the adjuster has done NOTHING. Good to know I m important to this company (not). Don t ever buy their policies.

I'm a manager at a repair facility and called in to ask them all the information they needed to start the claim so I can get it to them Asap to start repairs and the nice guy on the phone let me know.

Later on I called back with all the information, and gave this lady all the information the previous employee asked for and she told me that what the previous employee i spoke to told me the wrong information so I told her its okay just let me know what i do need so i can be prepared to make it easier for the both of us.
She then sighed and started giving me ATTITUDE and said I should know what information to provide and HUNG UP.
Not a single insurance company that I've dealt with asks for as much customer/vehicle information as this one.
IF COMPANIES are not willing to work with this service neither should customers. They're awful and really hard to work with for both customers AND repair facilities.

Do NOT get this warranty. Take it from someone who sits on the other side of the phone call, all I want is to help you get your vehicle fixed, and this company is not the way to do it.

I have had 3 fairly new vehicles insured with them and paid about 600.00 a month, for the to deny a claim under 1000.00. I have given them over 5000.00 . At this rate I could have saved my money and paid out of pocket for my own repairs. People please don t be fooled. And CarShield is the solicitor for American auto shield, Carshield puts the mileage on your vehicle wrong, and American auto shield denies the claims. This is their game. Please be aware!!!!!!!!

Beyond frustrated at this point! I may need to have my Attorney involved!! Put in a claim 3 months ago on my vehicle! ! My car has been at a repair shop during this time! with no follow call from Representative and sensitivity of my concerns! I ve fully read my contract and the problem that occurred states that under my contract it s covered!!! I m Requesting a full refund from time of Initial coverage! Totally unacceptable! Shame on Them!

Was a bit leery on whether this would actually work when it's supposed to. My truck finally needed some detailed repairs and I had my shop get involved with Car Shield. In and out of the shop in a few days and paid just $100. No problems whatsoever. The hitch in the get-a-long was confusion on the "additional benefits" Car rental had some bumps but in the end was figured out and I received my rental. Rental cars are currently a premium so that's not their fault. Over all I was encouraged and actually pleasantly impressed. It worked smoothly. I'd recommend them. .
