I have the best experience while staying there for several nights during my honeymoon tour of Asia. The staff were so helpful and genuine with their politeness, care and always beaming a wide smile any time of the day. The service was exceptional and they did wonders. I had the best beef randang at one of their restaurants and that taste will live in my memory forever.

The hotel was like living in a palace (gold, jewels, marble, granite & etc). Beautiful beautiful. Very grand. But their staff was quite clueless especially if you ask on what services, prices the hotel give & provide. . The room was so spacious & had different theme (very good for selfie). The toilet was sooo big & grand. They have cinema, restaurant, boutique shops & sport complex. The stay was amazing & very good for selfie but they have to train their staff more.

Club rooms have high-end linens and access to a lounge with breakfast, afternoon tea and cocktails provided, while some suites have whirlpool tubs and saunas. Amenities include indoor/outdoor pools, a golf course, beach access and a spa, plus 6 restaurants, 3 bars and a gym.

Very advanced hotel, as if walking into the palace. If you remember correctly, the cheapest room in the room is also Brunei 200, the most expensive is as high as 15,000 a day. It seems that only the super heavyweights such as Lin Guotai, Ma Yun, and the boss of the book can live in! The overall hotel design is very The generous and noble, the maintenance work is also very perfect, and there is a feeling of refreshing and fresh in the inside. It is said that some of the pillars are made of pure gold.

Fortunately, there is no charge for the visit, otherwise there is no chance to witness such a special hotel.

From the airport to the hotel is $ 35, 30 minutes away from the city. We can stay at Brunei best hotel for around 30,000 yen per night.

Although we are away from the city, staying here is helpful. The ceiling is high like a castle, but the facilities are a bit old.

For this visit, we found it dissapointing because the room is not ready upon our check-in time.. We've waited for 2hrs but still our room is not ready.. The frontdesk recommeded us to do some activities while waiting for our room to be ready.. But how can we do the activities when there's no room to change..

We stayed at the Empire for 3 nights in September 2006. Unfortunately we had booked several excursions, so that we could not fully enjoy this dream hotel during the day. Our standard room was the greatest we have ever had before and after.
It is Old English style. But the bathroom was as big as some rental apartments. The hotel and the grounds are a palace. You feel like a celebrity. Without alcohol was no problem. Some tourists have smuggled alcohol from Malaysia.

The Empire Hotel is truly one of the hotels that B...

The Empire Hotel is truly one of the hotels that Brunei can be proud of as it is the epitome of luxury. Upon arrival, the first thing that amazed me was the gigantic size of the lobby and it's luxurious designs of intricate carvings. The pillars were made from marble and truly emphasized the grandness of the lobby. WiFi was automatically connected but sadly had poor speed (1 MB for me), perhaps it was due to the amount of guests staying there. The staff are very welcoming, with their charming smiles.

Our room was located on the "Laguna/Lagoon" Block, just a few blocks away from the beach. I think each block in the empire has its own characteristics and that's what made it stand-out for me - for example the block I stayed at had a lake surrounding it and even fishes (koi) that you could feed. The swimming pool near the Lagoon Block was unfortunately under-repair during my stay so it was a bit demotivating though I could see that the pool is very deep and large. What I love about the room is that it has a balcony where we could sit and just watch the lake or random cars passing by. The two master beds were ample sized, enough for a family of four (or five). A selection of snacks and tea are also served for free and the storage space comes with a floor length mirror and a hidden space to change clothes. WiFi still became an issue though as the reception in our room was terrible.

The 'Buggy' ride was one of the few things that I heavily enjoyed, a phone to call for the buggy ride was provided on our block so it was a matter of calling for the ride to take us around the compound. It was refreshing to enjoy the rush of air as you were driven around the area.

My guide told me that this is a 7-star hotel, and I can see why.. just going around the place, it is huge and kept clean. Even the comfort rooms are quite elegant. Nice to stay for a weekend getaway.

A place you must checkout during your stay in Brunei, the moment you feel like you stayed at the King's palace, try to visit their pool facing the beachfront and experience the relaxing breeze. It's a huge place, and the staff are very approachable.
