Rick Hoelzel Review of Ambro Adjustment

Ambro Adjustment- BEWARE this company is a joke, had a car looked at by their adjuster Dan Hickey and he must know better than mechanics with over 40 years experience that road tested car, put on lift examined entire car that had all service records, full service history, did not need anything. Everything worked, did not need a single thing. No check engine light, no mechanical defects, no leaks, brand new tire less than 3 months old, not a spec of rust. A car I would considered excellent condition as well as the mechanics that evaluated car prior to me purchasing. I had looked at over 10 cars prior to purchasing this one, this car was by far best I looked at.
After the accident Mr Hickey decided to rate the car a "fair" condition. According to KBB, NADA and any other vehicle appraisal company "a "good" vehicle will need some reconditioning to be sold at retail. Most consumer owned vehicles fall into this category. Fair condition means that the vehicle has some mechanical or cosmetic defects and needs servicing but is still in reasonable running condition."
The company really needs to train their adjusters on the difference in fair versus good condition. If I could have put zero stars I would have.
If this is the company the insurance company assigns request another.
They will low ball you and have no clue what they are even looking at.
Amazing that profesional mechanics went all through car and considered it excellent condition and Dan Hickey can simply look at car and give it a "fair" rating.
