I recently went to Ambassadors at Bloomsbury for afternoon tea. The food was decent, the service was fine and the room we were seated in was nice enough. The only thing I found disappointing was the obvious lack of communication between staff. I had booked the tea online using a voucher several weeks before. I asked if my friend with a dairy intolerance could be catered for and they assured me that she could. We arrived under the impression that she would be able to have the same food as us, only without the dairy element. However, we were told on arrival that she would have to have fruit salad. Bit of a shame really - you would think they'd have something better in place. Dairy intolerance is not uncommon! Also at no point was I asked to bring the voucher with me on the day. However, we were asked several times to show it to staff on arrival. They ended up having to take photos of the confirmation emails on our phones. Otherwise, the tea was fine, as I've said.

The staff is very welcoming and pleasant, the hotel is very well located 10 min walk from St Pancras station and Camden area.
Close to public transport.

However upon arrival we were told that breakfast was included in the reservation and the last day we did not want to serve.

Great location hotel within 5 minutes of Euston station and undwrground. Hotel is modern and clean. Rooms well equipped with a Nespresso coffee machine and complimentary water bottle. Carpet a bit tired but it was clean. Comfy bed. Good buffet selection of hot and cold food for breakfast.

The only 3 stars thing is because i was here for a meeting, and didn't really experience the hotel much. Lovely staff - a Kurdish Iraqi and a Romanian presiding over our tea and coffee - I enjoyed chatting with themn

Stayed overnight to watch wicked at the Victoria apoll, hotel was right next to Euston making it easy to get to. Room wasn't the biggest but finished to a high standard, windows kept most of the noise out and we had a great nights sleep. Staff were very freindly

Work conference in one of the basement meeting rooms, tea, coffee all good. Good selection of lunchtime sandwiches although I think there was too much mustard on the Ham and Mustard sandwiches.

Excellent afternoon tea served on tiered cake stand. Good selection. Staff helpful and attentive. Bought as a voucher gift. The room more contemporary than quaint style. Not far from Warren Street or Euston Square underground stations. Too much for us to eat. They gave us a doggy bag for remainder and although some may consider a Marie Antoinette moment we gave to a street beggar. Sad but it was done with a good heart. Hope she enjoyed also.

Situated 10 minutes from St Pancras international train station the Ambassadors Bloomsbury is a very classy establishment ideal for a city break or conference.

Easy access to central London with underground stations nearby and bus stops close by

Rooms (and bathrooms) are small. Location of hotel is excellent for public transport but being on a major road and close to very busy crossroads makes for a night constantly interrupted by traffic noise and sirens from emergency services.

Clean and nicely presented room, but so small that there is no space to even put luggage. In order to use the desk one needs to put the amenities tray on the floor first as otherwise not even a small laptop fits and you better not be taller than 1.80cm in order to sit at the table as the seat does not go back far.

Stains all over the bathroom, unstiched bedding, muddy floors and they don t even change the loo roll or coffee mugs from the last stay! How rancid is that!!! Me and my other half stayed here for our anniversary and let me tell you, never again! I felt dirty after a stay here. After I nicely told the manager marco about the mishaps, he took my name and called me the next day and tried to accuse me of smoking in the room! We don t even smoke!!!!! I m embarrassed for them, the service was utterly awful and left me feeling very sad. Don t stay here unless you fancy a hostel esc holiday! And bonus points it s smells of rotten cabbage when you walk in. Thanks for nothing ambassadors Bloomsbury.

Great location, room a bit small, was in one with no proper view out of the windows so was a bit claustrophobic! Breakfast was adequate, but overall a very nice hotel, excellent location, round the corner from Euston station, would recommend!

For a four-star hotel, this is quite disappointing. The rooms are small and utilitarian, with scuff marks on the walls -- I'm sad to say I've stayed in nicer two-star motels. The location is convenient, which is a plus, but this isn't worth the money

Great little hotel (little applies to room size).

Great little hotel (little applies to room size).
I enjoyed my two night stay at this hotel we is smaller and more personal than the big brands nearby. The room is small, I had a deluxe room and it was smaller than the standard at the nearby Ibis, but it's nicely equipped, comfortable and quiet which was a joy. The bathroom is a wet room and sadly they don't supply anything to scrape the floor dry with so I had to stand on damp towels post shower. Slow wi-fi is provided and you can upgrade speed for a fee. Breakfast on the first day was cold cheese and ham, hot food was extra. On day two bacon, egg, sausage was provided. The staff were friendly and there is a small fitness room in the basement. I will try to get a photo of that on my next stay at I will be staying there again.

Small room but clean and the bed was decent. Bathroom small and like a ship bathroom. The open water bottle with "house water" Not sure what that is but yuck. Would anyone drink that? The restaurant is very nice with great service. Nice location to train station.

Stayed here for the sake of location and safety.

Stayed here for the sake of location and safety.

Small room, cannot open two mid-size suitcases without putting the two single beds together. bathroom shower curtain was useless as water all splashed on the floor.

The bell boy, Joe, is the only one truly deserves a five stars, professional, attentive, friendly and helpful with all questions!

Friendly and welcoming staff. Comfortable, clean room with deep set windows, so you can perch, with a fresh Nespresso (in every room) and watch London go by. Clean and spacious bathroom and a ginormous, super comfortable bed. Good location and delicious breakfast too.

Did I mention that the mini fridge is totally empty? Nothing but a tap water in the glass bottle.

The hotel is located down the street from Euston station. And, since location is key, this is probably the Ambassadors biggest forte. Other than that, the lobby, (bath)room and staff is fine. Bit of a 3 star feel for a 4 star hotel.

Comfortable hotel, warm reception. Room small but comfortable and had all needed. Bed comfortable although only a standard double. Nice hot and powerful shower but nothing to stop bathroom flooding. Very soft towels.

Usually a good stay. Bacon at breakfast could do with being cooked a bit more (bacon should not bend, let alone flop) and the milk could be kept chilled, but other than that a perfectly acceptable hotel.

This is an excellent place to stay, full of character and amazing staff. The place is in London s prime location, right in the centre of Bloomsbury, within a walking distance from Covent Garden, Strand, King s Cross, St. Pancras Renaissance Hotel, Regents Park, Regent s Canal, Camden Town, Fleet Street, the Royal Courts of Justice and other very special must-see places of London. Highly recommended for comfortable and unforgettable stay in London!!
