Very good room at short notice for the price. Comfy bed and good facilities. Would definitely recommend to friends and family
Very good room at short notice for the price. Comfy bed and good facilities. Would definitely recommend to friends and family
Friendly staff. Clean and good facilities. The breakfast was good. Overall though it needs refreshing. Our room had broken window window blinds, and the furniture was a bit shabby. Very comfortable bed and linen. Be prepared for a very noisy stay however, due to traffic and the general public.
Nice hotel . Very modern and well looked after. Room clean and ideal for a business trip. Nice bar and staff and i would recommend it
A pretty impressive hotel amd great for events. Only negative is that the sound system for events has a limiter so thr sound is pretty bad.
I usually go there for business meetings so I use their cafe/ bar area. Ambience is quite good. Staff is very helpful and polite and always try their best to meet customer expectations.
Stayed for one night at a weekend as I was down in London for a concert. I was pleasantly surprised, definitely one of the best hotels at a very reasonable price that I've stayed at in London. Would go back.
Wonderful stay at this hotel. Peaceful and quiet. Rooms are small and cosy yet with a modern touch. Very conveniently located. Only missing factor is the lack in providing toiletries such as toothpaste and toothbrush sets.
Disappointing, except for the service which was helpful and polite and the location. The room, typically small for London. Relatively clean but feeling a bit worn out and dated. Some sloppy finishes make it feel a bit shabby. Had the misfortune of a room above or below construction and loud banging during the late morning. A problematic lack of storage in the bathroom. One hook for a towel and a sink barely large enough to rest a tube of toothpaste. The shower is an open design with no edge to keep the water from spilling over the entire bathroom. Overall disappointing, yet acceptable in a pinch if you set expectations accordingly.
The hotel is quiet and well located. The premises are ok, although there were cracks and dust in places in the room. Where the stay is spoiled considerably, it is about the service. No staff speak French, no one makes the effort to understand what my mother (who does not know English) tries to explain, and I have to be a translator. No effort therefore, and especially a desire to cash at all costs money from your credit card, then nothing. Hyper disappointed with this hotel that has good on the internet but is not at all up to these expectations. Impression of being "scammed", in any case to disturb.
It's very noisy if you have a room over looking the road
Absolute tack. Got afternoon tea here reheated stale scones, margarine on sandwiches instead of butter and hard cakes. The stand was thrown at us and we ordered more tea and were hit with an extra 9 pounds for extra tea without warning or mention. I have afternoon tea weekly and never have been billed for extra tea. Tacky and unpleasant food
I stayed in the ambassadors for work, the staff couldn't have been more helpful. A friend who I was meeting asked if they could stay the night before. One quick phonecall got the room changed from a double to a twin and another breakfast was comped on the day. The location is fantastic for Euston and the hotel was all that is expected having stayed at several Bloomsbury hotels before. Nice comfortable rooms with a good level of amenities. The only criticism is that of location which can be leveled at all city centre hotels the view isn't great as you're surrounded by tall buildings and while the soundproofing is excellent, opening a window for "fresh" air also lets in a fair bit of the noise that is ever present in such a busy part of London.
Nicely located venue that's easy to get to. Nice hotel but the conference room we had want best set up. The projector screen is off to one side. Other than that it is a good venue
Really enjoyed my stay here. Overall it was brilliant. I'd look to come again for sure.
Very impressive building , smart dining room and fab food , service was great
Great location, convenient to Euston and the Russell Square underground station
Charging extra for proper Internet connection is a scam in XXI century. I am glad they did not ask me to pay premium for hot water.
Very nice and quiet gym with swimming pool and sauna. I really like spending my free time there.
Been here for meetings a few times. Quite a neat venue, providing you don't want windows.
Lobby area looks lovely but rooms very basic abd with limited space. We booked a superior room and half of the amenities we booked weren't provided. Breakfast was okay, average. Sausages nice but juice awful.
This review is for the restaurant only not the hotel. We were greeted by a friendly experienced waitress but she must of finished her shift. The girls who were left ignored us and didn t thank us for our visit or payment. Not worth mentioning the food.
Great service , nice food , located in nice area just needs some TLC , they do soya milk which is a plus
Excellent situation right opposite Euston station and very close to the British Museum and British Library. Rooms are clean and well appointed, but ours had noise from the air conditioning pipes outside. The bed was too firm for me, might suit some. Friendly service. Good breakfast.
Brilliant hotel with very lovely staff. The bedroom was spacious and well kitted out - although could have done with a few more tea bags and bigger mugs. Overall a very enjoyable stay in a fantastic location!
Lovely place
Modern and welcoming
Not Worth the money ...very rude and ineffective duty manager ....
A budget hotel in the heart of London. It is clean and the facilities are not bad, but it is small and there is no refrigerator in the common room. Only basic facilities are available for restrooms. It is small but the bathroom door is made of opaque glass, but it is family or very close person or privacy .. It is close to Ustaun station and bus right in front of hotel and it is 10 times passing through the city .. Not so bad,
Here for a conference, great facilities and if you get a chance to see the sinks in the toilets - so. They are amazing, space age and artistic.
Afternoon tea was quiet and pleasant. Very enjoyable, clean hotel. However the cutlery we were given was dirty. Staff were nice
The facility is great for workshop. The lunch provide something different from just normal sandwiches.
I visited the ambassador on Saturday to attend the comedy club. I was appauled by the sexist, racist and homophobic style of the night.
It is very close and convenient to Euston Station and walkable - 25 minutes - to West End and Covent Garden.
Staff are friendly and helpful and the room was clean and comfortable.
The rooms and bathrooms are small but manageable - it's London though and you get what you pay for. Overall I thought it was fine. Free Internet but was very slow - upgrade options for a fee.
Beautiful, when we return to Paris. I'm going to make sure to book here.
Nice hotel, but on a busy road. I payed less for litle room in a back street somewhere and had a better night sleep.
Close to the train station, the British Museum is very convenient
Not a very nice room no storage in the bedroom or bathroom very dated will avoid in the future
Amazing hotel, ideal location, beautiful room , clean and comfy bed, staff very friendly and especially bar staff who made us welcome. Breakfast was plentiful and well presented. Definitely will come back.
Rooms are small and old, tiles on bathroom floor and carpets are moldy, replacements needed. Good location though.
It is an OK hotel, food for my friend with a nut allergy was poor however.
Here for a conference. Great staff and facilities. If you get a chance to go to the toilet there...do. The sinks are a space age wonder or artistic design
This was a wonderful experience. Had afternoon tea there in sumptuous surroundings. The food and drinks were ace and the staff second to none. Very, very pleased - superb staff.
I was in awe of just how helpful and willing staff were, way above what I expected
Lovely hotel in a great location. Only a short walk from the British museum and library if you want something cultural and vibrant Soho, Oxford Circus and regent Street if your more into shopping or looking for places to eat and drink. The rooms are of a good size and well decorated. Staff are friendly and the afternoon tea is delicious.
narrow. But the location is good. Breakfast varies by price, but you can't eat sausages or bacon if you've got a cheap gel (basic). You can eat processed meats and fruit cereal cheese. The shower is fixed to the wall so you can refer to it. The location is good, but there is a fire station nearby, and the sirens are very loud. The price is a bit vague
Excellent meeting venue with efficient, professional staff.
Friendly welcome. Good location. Bit noisy outside as near to a large hospital.
Rooms are ok if not a little small and basic. I can't believe they are charging for wifi faster than an extremely slow e-mail only download speed. On site restaurant is ridiculously expensive for what's on offer.
Have not used accomodation but meeting rooms are good. Great service, reasonable food, fantastic location right opposite Euston station and a short walk from Kings Cross.
London often has very worn hotels but this is an exception.
The hotel is fresh and the rooms very clean. Like most hotels in London, the beds are very small, as is this hotel. However, the breakfast at the hotel is very expensive and I recommend buying breakfast outside. Much cheaper and tastier.
A very special weekend in London - attending a Maths Emporium, but had a great time at the Ambassador. Great location - within walking distance of all the special London attractions. Worth the visit.
Went there for a course. The staff were very helpful, excellent service. It smells nice. Good catering and clean toilets.
It's not the hotel's fault
but I booked the 27/12 a room by the site GALA HOTELS for 135 and the evening of arrival at 20h the reservation was canceled !!!!
I had to pay 230 a new room
To date no way despite my reminders to contact GALA HOTELS
beware it's a scam !!!

If I could, I would give this 0 stars. I visited the hotel to attend a comedy performance that they were hosting, by The London Comedy Club. I was thoroughly disappointed with the fact the hotel would platform this kind of event. Unfortunately, the comedy night, if you could call it comedy, was dominated by racist, xenophobic and sexist "jokes". To give examples, there were jokes regarding people with mental disabilities and trivialising sexual assaults. This was the overwhelming impression the night left, the jokes lacked intelligence and were grossly outdated. I hope that in future the hotel would screen the events that they allow to perform on the premises.
Rooms small but clean. We didn t really like the frosted glass door on the bathroom which faced the bed though. Restaurant meal was very good. Ideal for the railway as just 7 minutes stroll to Kings Cross.
Our whole experience was totally positive. Fourteen participants of our cultural tour stayed at Ambassadors for a week last summer. The staff worked with me tirelessly for months before the visit to be sure that all the arrangements were perfect. They promised that we would have the best experience, and they totally delivered! They were friendly and genuinely caring; food, and all services were excellent! We will be certainly stay again!
My stay has mixed reviews. Firstly, the staff are helpful and it was easy to check in/out & the bed was quite comfortable. However, my room was disappointing. The room was tiny, and needs a real face lift. No mirror above the (worlds smallest) dressing table and the bathroom didn't feel particularly clean. I couldn't sleep due to the noise outside as I was above a pub & sirens going off all night.
Great central location, a stone's throw away from Euston. Nice clean and cosy rooms. Would stay again
Two stars because of awesome location. The hotel itself was not good. Really really bad complementary wifi, hard beds, very small rooms, no breakfast included, bathroom was a glass box with a swinging shower door as the bathroom door, elevator was out of service when we arrived, there was someone s belongings that had been left behind still on the floor in our room!! Costumer service was 2stars ...but there was complementary coffee in the room. There s an amazing homemade pizza joint around the corner called Pizza Sophia which is an absolute MUST!
The location very close to Euston station. Cleanliness and attention of the staff excellent but the rooms are super small and you can not call a cupboard where only 1 jacket fits.
We went for a long weekend over a bank holiday. The hotel itself was very clean and welcoming and the staff were absolutely lovely. The rooms were small but that's what you would expect in the city centre. The breakfast itself was amazing, it sets you up tight for the day.
Nice decor and great location. The room was nicely done, it was small but functional. Nice ensure, again small but functional. Nice touches on the room. However was the 1st floor and at the front of the building. So really noisy. Slept with earplugs and still noisy. Shame there is not secondary glazing. Breakfast was excellent. Staff ask really pleasant.
Our stay was quite pleasant although we where disappointed by the check in. It took over an hour because they managed to give us the wrong type of room. The room had a disappointing view and we would probably not stay here again.
The single room was claustrophobically small and I requested to switch to the double room (twice as big, still not great). The staff was very friendly and helpful.
Unfortunately, the room felt very old, not super clean, wifi was sloooow, couldn't figure out how to switch off one of the lights so had to sleep with a flight blindfold.
Overall I wouldn't come back here and would not recommend...
Was a lovely hotel and staff were polite and friendly. The Pillows and Duvet were duck feather and OMG it was lush. Colour me impressed Bloomsbury. COLOUR. ME. IM. PRESSED.
Staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Breakfast is wonderful rooms are clean and comfortable. Just round the corner from Euston Station. Would recommend
Rooms a bit dated but a great location woth friendly staff
Expensive...being close to Euston station.
Neat, functional rooms. Comfortable for a night's stay. Poor service at the bar.
Clean and comfortable but new view or opening windows in room 411
It was amazing. I went there for international nurse conference
