Ambassador Banquet Center Review

Attended New Year's Eve party at the ambassador. We had attended the year prior as well and the overall organization and set up was quite lacking this year in comparison.

Dispite arriving at the event start it took just shy of an hour to get through the 2 separate lines required to get into the event. The fact that the party was only 4 hours long and the bar was only included for 3 of those hours made this all the worse. Then once we finally made it inside and waited in yet another 30 minute line for drinks, we found that none of the additional rooms outside of the main dance room were open this year.

Overall I was quite disappointed in the experience. We will not be returning for a third year.

We got the one bedroom suite. It was nice but a little dated. Service was great and I enjoyed my stay.

This was my second time being there and it was once again excellent.

Attending a training seminar. Staff was professional and the facilities were well taken care of.

We got the jacuzzi suite. The jacuzzi is smaller than others around, but 2 people can fit. The bed is comfy and the room is spacious. Everything is very clean and smells good. We thought there was room service available but no one mentioned it, nor was there any menus.

Nice and quiet place to sleep and many choices to eat and enjoy around...!!

Was there for a convention. Whole place was clean, staff was helpful, and area was beautiful.

Went for the Bridal expo. It was really busy but well handled and staffed.

The hotel was nice, if a little dated. The rooms had one king bed and one queen which was really nice while traveling with kids. The pool at the hotel was good. It had a 1 foot smaller area with a mushroom fountain as well as a big pool, hot tub, and sauna.

This was a very clean facility. Extremely friendly staff. Great information on local restaurants and attractions. Nice little Shop near customer service desk to get snacks and beverages at. I would definately recommend this as a place to stay if going to Erie and will be using it again during my future visits there.

We had good service. Rooms could be a little bigger for being a king suite

We had the best stay at the courtyard. The staff was absolutely amazing and so nice. Anything we needed they didn't hesitate to provide it for us. The hotel was super clean and relaxing and nicely decorated. It was quiet and peaceful and the pool area was very well maintained.we enjoyed our stay and our kids wanted to move in. So did we lol.

3.5 place. Great staff always and lovely big rooms with amazing comfortable beds and cute little balconies. Great mini fridges and microwaves in the rooms.
It could be a 5 star place if they provided breakfast of fixed the pool area. My biggest complaints were that the tiles around the pool and hot tub were insanely slippery! I mean even in shoes you felt like you were walking on ice. Then once you got in the pool and hot tub the bottom was like sand paper. Even the bench in the shallow hot tub was like sand paper and it actually snagged up my swim suit with runs which really upset me because it's new and ruined.

After having our reservation cancelled unknowingly, we were transferred to this hotel from the Sheraton bayfront as a last minute ditch by the company. With no prior notice we agreed to it. The hotel is on the opposite side of where we needed to be. Getting our receipt in the morning I lost it as they still charged us $80 additional to what our rate was at the nicer hotel. After trying to get some justice due to their ignorance and fighting with an empty can manager, I just gave up and sucked in the loss.
Never again will I use this hotel chain for business or pleasure.

The Courtyard is an excellent place for those needing to attend events at the Ambassador center.

Very nice. Great accommodations friendly staff and upscale atmosphere. Close to many restraints and bars. The area is a bit filled with stripmalls but it's not far to get to the park or lake.

Food was great, room was nicley decorated, drinks seemed watered down

Nice clean, updated rooms with a clean lobby and pool area. Room included microwave, mini fridge, and a coffee pot!

Room was very clean, however, I had issues getting the right temperature of water, and I always hated how courtyards have overpriced breakfasts.

Sauna, whirlpool, kids pool, huge suites. 2 bars and 2 restaurants. Great staff too. Evening staff rocks.

They do a very nice banquet. The food is good and they are accommodating

Overall no major problems. Rooms were not ready at 5PM, we had to wait for 20 minutes in the lobby with our 2 small children while they finished cleaning a room for us.

They went out of their way to accommodate my group.

I seriously felt like a very important guest. The staff is beyond helpful! They did everything they could and more to accommodate us! The best service by far. The Hotel is very nice!

The rooms are very clean and there are a decent amount of channels on the TV the two queen size beds are very comfortable and the pillows are very fluffy. The balconies are a great place to relax when you wake up in the morning.

Overall not bad. Everything looked a little worn, but no major problems. The parking situation was a bit confusing with all of the different entrances...but I can't necessarily consider that the hotel's fault.

My son was have his wedding reception there but because of the covid they had to cancel the atrium was closed but they still gave them discount on their rooms and guest rooms

It was very nice and fancy. Th food was absolutely fantastic.

Went for the wine down fest it was great. Nice vendors clean space and nice clean bathrooms.

Horrible experience our room was not up to quality the person at the front counter was rude unprofessional and told me I can t do a late checkout do to the fact that her and her coworkers want to go home earlier like if that was the guest issue.... if your not happy with your basic job get your self a better one and apparently the general manager doesn t care about guess I will never recommend this location to anyone

The room was nicely prepared, but towards the end of the meeting there were a lot of loud banging noises in the room next door and out in the hallway that were distracting.

The Bistro was a great amenity of the hotel. Also our room rate was amazing as was the room. And the kids loved having quick access to the pool. Also the employees were all phenomenal at their jobs.

Its not too good not too bad. Hotel staff was good but the property seemed old. The room was not that great. Have stayed in a lot of hotels by Marriott courtyard in other locations before and always liked those. This was definitely below the regular standard.

Great service and a spacious room with a jacuzzi. What more could I ask for? I would have gave them 5 stars but they didn't have the continental breakfast that I've come to expect in my travels.

Hot tubbing our room.. it was a great escape. Only way to improve it was to have a TV speaker next to the hot tub so we didn't have to crank the TV volume all the way up to hear over jets
