Terrible customer service. Bus from Reno to South ...

Terrible customer service. Bus from Reno to South Lake Tahoe broke down on the side of the highway and we were stuck there in the heat for over an hour. The bus driver kept repeating "this just happened yesterday", "this bus wasn't fit to be on the road in the first place" and "it's not my fault they gave me this bus to drive because all of the good ones were taken". Understandably, these are not words that would give comfort to anyone. We had chosen to take a shuttle to avoid safety issues of having to navigate to Lake Tahoe on our own, but we now wish we had just rented a car to save on the frustration and danger of being on the road with Amador Stage Lines.

With all of that being said, accidents happen--we get that. But that's where good customer service should come in. When I called Amador to ask for a refund due to the breakdown and delay, they simply replied "sorry our tickets are not refundable". This is unacceptable. Safety is a priority when it comes to transportation, and I don't care if you don't know "why your employee would be saying those statements" because at the end of the day, that driver was YOUR employee, YOU have full responsibility over him, and over the safety of the bus. It was terrible customer service to not accommodate or accept responsibility for this incident. I would not recommend this service to anyone.

Terrible service!!! Scheaduled shuttle from south lake tahoe to reno airport at 3:35am waited outside of the hotel from 3:15am the shutlle didnt show off .. at 3:45 lobby guy comes outside and tell us theshuttle stands ussually on the side of thehotel.. there was no saying on ticket or website that we have to walk around the hotel at 3am with our lugggage searching for shuttle.. sweet had to pay for a cab..

48 of us used this line to go to the airport in Reno. The driver took out the balcony, shattered the bus window and kept going!!! He never stopped the bus to see the damage. He never reported the incident. It was frightening ride with shattered glass at top speeds. The company needs to enforce policies on hit and runs for safety sake.
